Gorgeous wedding venue, fantastic food, amazing rooms but the best part was how the coordinators and all the staff will go above and beyond to give you the best, most personalised experience. We were lucky to have Georgina manage our wedding and we can’t be more thankful for her attentiveness and care. -

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wedding at The Lion Inn, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, the day was nothing short of perfect. The venue itself is a hidden gem—stylish, welcoming, and beautifully designed with a wonderful mix of charm and contemporary elegance.
Our ceremony was absolutely stunning, set in a gorgeous space that felt intimate and special. It was everything we had hoped for, and more. Afterward, our guests gathered in the lovely courtyard for drinks, which provided the ideal setting to relax and mingle under the sunshine before the reception. The transition between each part of the day was seamless, and the entire celebration was perfectly executed.
The food and drinks were incredible, the atmosphere was lively and full of joy, and everything ran so smoothly thanks to the amazing team. A very special thank you goes to Georgina, who was truly outstanding throughout the entire process. From the planning stages to the big day itself, she was calm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful—always one step ahead and never flustered. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and she made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment.
Many of our guests stayed overnight, and they couldn’t stop complimenting the beautiful guest rooms, which are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean—ideal for a restful stay after a day of celebrating. Having everything onsite made it so easy and enjoyable for everyone.
We can’t recommend The Lion Inn highly enough. It’s not only a stunning venue, but it’s also backed by a team who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable. We feel so lucky to have found it and will treasure the memories forever -

I cannot put in to words how amazing our wedding at the lion house was. The staff from start to finish were exceptional and made it so we didn’t have to worry about a thing the entire day. We really felt that our vision for the day was everything and more and that is thanks to the amazing people at the Lion house. We had a small wedding but still felt just as valued. Kailey and the team were so amazing!! We cannot thank you enough! -

We had such a great day at the Lion Inn. From our first visit to our special day, Georgina and the whole staff were so helpful, accommodating and incredibly professional. Everything went flawlessly on the day and was so well organised, we didn't have to worry about a thing.

The Lion felt like home the first time we walked in. Attending the fair made it easy for us to get sober of our vendors. We knew what we wanted for our wedding and they executed it perfectly. -

We were so happy with our wedding.
Our coordinator Georgina was so kind and helpful and made sure everything was taken care of.
Myself and couple of guests have specific dietary restrictions and none of this was a problem. Everyone was so nice and made our experience amazing.
I would definitely recommend the lion! -

We had the best day ever at The Lion. From the moment we stepped foot in the venue Megan was so warm and friendly and seemed like she genuinely cared and wanted the best for us. The prices are reasonable compared to lots of other venues around and they were very willing to cater to our requirements (we wanted a vegetarian wedding and had lots of vegan guests attending too) - everyone commented how amazing the food was. Kaleigh was our wedding coordinator and she was so professional and organised, she made sure everything ran smoothly and we are so grateful to her. The accommodation is just gorgeous and we were treated like royalty by all the staff which just made the whole weekend feel so special. Special shout out to Jo who was so friendly and attentive, she took care of our grandmothers making sure they were comfortable and had a chair at all times, she checked in our vegan guests, she seemed to know what I wanted before I even asked and made us all feel so special. I wish we could do the whole day again! Everything about this venue is incredible - and especially the staff and the food are absolutely exceptional. -

Magical Day
Our wedding at The Lion House was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived the night before, we knew we had chosen the perfect venue. The ambiance was elegant and welcoming, creating a beautiful backdrop for our special day.
One of the highlights was the roast chicken dinner, which was simply outstanding. The meal was delicious, perfectly cooked and a wonderful selection of sides. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food (and drinks!!)
We owe a huge part of our seamless experience to Georgina, our wedding coordinator. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and warm personality made the entire planning process a breeze. She ensured that every aspect of our wedding went off without a hitch, allowing us to fully enjoy our day and helped all of my plans become a reality.
If you're looking for a venue that combines stunning surroundings, excellent service and top-notch dinner and drinks, The Lion House is the place to go. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more memorable day. Thank you, Georgina and The Lion House team for making our wedding day perfect! -

I fell in love with The Lion the second I saw the photos and the venue did not disappoint. It is not only stunning to look at but the service we received on the day was amazing. Everyone from reception staff, cleaners & events team were second to none. All of our guests commented on how amazing everything was and one guest even recommended the venue to her newly engaged brother! Honestly couldn't recommend this venue more.
Even when my daughter lost her bracelet on the day, the garden maintenance team kept an eye out and found it in a hedge weeks after the wedding! -
