Our Special Day!
From the moment we arrived at The Hidden Oak, we were completely blown away by the exquisite, beautifully maintained surroundings. The wildlife, lakes, and lush green grounds created the perfect setting for such a special day and we instantly knew we could picture ourselves getting married there.
When we were shown around the venue, we loved how close together everything was, from the stunning stretch tent for the ceremony, to the drinks reception terrace, and then onto the wedding breakfast and reception barn. It meant all of our guests stayed together throughout the day, creating a lovely atmosphere. We also loved that the venue is a blank canvas, allowing us to make the day truly our own.
Rob, Holly, and the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Before booking, Rob helped us secure our date and guided us through all the big decisions, making the planning process feel easy and stress-free.
On the day itself, Holly, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made sure everything ran like clockwork. When our band unexpectedly broke down just 20 minutes from the venue, the team actually went to collect them so that our evening wasn't disrupted. That level of care and dedication meant the world to us and is something we'll never forget.
The on-site accommodation was outstanding. The décor is modern, stylish and beautifully finished, with every room and bathroom presented to such a high standard. We booked the accommodation for our bridal party the night before the wedding and fully booked it for the night of the wedding too, which made the whole experience even more special.
If we had one small suggestion, it would be to consider including the bridal suite as part of the wedding package, as this is something many couples might expect. We also felt a few more bins around the accommodation, particularly in some bedrooms and bathrooms, would be helpful.
Overall, we couldn't be more impressed with everything The Hidden Oak and its team have to offer, and we can't wait to return for some of their future events. We are so sad that we can't do it all over again!

The Hidden Oak exceeded every expectation we had. From the breathtaking venue to the exceptional service from every member of the team, everything was delivered to such a high standard. The attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made our wedding day completely stress-free and unforgettable.
What would you say to other couples considering our venue?
Book it as you won't regret it! If you're looking for a stunning venue with incredible scenery, beautiful accommodation, a flexible space to create your dream wedding, and a team who genuinely care about making your day perfect, The Hidden Oak is everything you could ask for. We felt so well looked after from our first visit right through to the end of our wedding day.

It's clear how much passion and care goes into every wedding they host, and it really shows. We'll always have wonderful memories of our day and can't wait to visit again in the future.

From the moment we first stepped onto the grounds of Hidden Oaks, we knew it was the venue for us. At the time, it was still under construction, but after being shown the plans and hearing the vision, we put our trust in the team. Looking back now, we are so incredibly grateful that we did.
Hidden Oaks is simply breathtaking. It's magical, and you would never believe such an incredible place exists in Stockton. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating the most elegant and unforgettable setting for a wedding.
As a family-run venue, the warmth and care they show is second to none. From our very first enquiry, every visit, and especially on our wedding day, they made us feel completely at ease. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We experienced a few unexpected issues with other suppliers, but the Hidden Oaks team went above and beyond their roles to step in and help. Their kindness, professionalism and genuine desire to make our day perfect meant more to us than we can ever express.
We stayed in the stunning accommodation for two nights, and it was absolutely beautiful. The rooms are luxurious, the communal spaces are spacious and welcoming, and everything feels so grand while still being incredibly comfortable. The bridal suite was perfect, comfortably accommodating my wife, her 12 bridesmaids, and her mum as they all had their hair and makeup done and got ready together. It made for such a special and relaxed start to the day.
We were fortunate enough to get married outside under the stretch tent, surrounded by the most beautiful grounds. The setting is truly breathtaking, with plenty of comfortable seating throughout the gardens so every guest could relax and enjoy the day. It created the most magical atmosphere.
Our wedding breakfast was held in the stunning barn, and it was everything we had hoped for. The food was exceptional, with every single guest commenting on how delicious it was. There was nothing but empty plates in sight!
A special thank you has to go to Holly, who coordinated our wedding so beautifully. She communicated with us throughout the entire planning process, keeping us reassured every step of the way. On the day itself, she was calm, organised and simply fantastic. Every member of staff was equally amazing, and together they made our wedding day completely stress-free.
Our wedding has been the topic of conversation ever since, and that is a testament to the incredible team at Hidden Oaks. They didn't just provide us with a venue; they gave us memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
We cannot thank everyone at Hidden Oaks enough for making our dream wedding a reality. If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would. We wholeheartedly recommend Hidden Oaks to any couple looking for a venue that is beautiful, elegant, welcoming and truly unforgettable.

Perfect day for a wedding
We honestly couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue for our wedding on 27/06/2026. From the moment we first visited The Hidden Oak, we knew it was somewhere special, but our wedding day exceeded every expectation.
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, every part of the estate provides a stunning backdrop, and our guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful it was. The attention to detail, the peaceful surroundings, and the warm atmosphere made our day feel truly magical.
What really sets The Hidden Oak apart is the incredible team. From the planning stages right through to the wedding day, nothing was ever too much trouble. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every single moment. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel completely looked after.
The food was exceptional, the accommodation was beautiful, and every aspect of the day was organised to perfection. Our guests are still talking about what an amazing wedding it was, and that's a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at The Hidden Oak.

Recently had our wedding at the Hidden Oak, this place is a hidden gem and will be fully booked in years to come!
I would highly recommend any couples looking for a venue to check this out, it is fantastic. Staff also great and nothing was too much bother. Made our full weekend so special. -

We got married here in 20.06.2026. What an amazing place it is.
I initially came across the venue on Hitched not realising it was only 15 minutes away from me. I fell in love straight away with the look of the place so arranged to look around. At the time the accommodation was still being renovated so there was only the barn, a bedroom, dressing room, bridal suite and kitchen ready. Rob showed us round and I was going ‘wow’ to every room we walked in which isn’t something I had done to other venues which we looked round.
We booked our wedding with them after this viewing. It was a dream venue honestly.
We had Holly as our wedding coordinator and can’t fault her at all. So lovely and genuine and nothing was too much trouble (even when I was sending her 500000 emails 🤣)
We were invited to regular meetings to ask how things were coming along and to ask about our plans and what we were wanting from the venue. Every time we had a meeting a room had been complete so I was happy with this.
We only had our reception here but were able to use the accommodation night before and were able to get ready in the morning which was beautiful and calm with a continental breakfast included.
We had the BBQ sharing meal for our food and this was unbelievable. Only criticism is that we were told it would be one board per couple on the table but have been told by guests that some tables of 8 only received 1 board so wasn’t quiet enough food.
All our guests couldn’t compliment the venue enough with the looks and the staff etc.

Rob the owner showed us around and told us the history of the venue being a family business and how it transformed from a working farm to wedding venue. His passion for the place was obvious from the start and when we encountered some issues he couldnt appologise enough and did everything he could to rectify them. Holly was my wedding coordinator and she so easy to talk to and very quick to get back to me on things, Holly and Charlotte worked the day of my wedding and both couldnt do enough for us made us feel so relaxed and Charlotte took some gorgeous photos of us leaving the farm house to go to the cermony. Both her and Holly were with me moments before my isle walk and kept the nerves at bay and made me laugh I felt like I'd known them both for ages as they sent me down the isle -
