My husband and I had our wedding at The Bell on the 1st of November, and the entire day was perfect from start to finish. Everything ran so smoothly, and that was entirely thanks to the incredible team—from the early planning stages right up to the final moments of our wedding day.
Becky, Jess, and the whole team were fantastic throughout the lead-up. They stayed in regular contact from the moment we booked, checking in, answering my endless questions, and offering constant reassurance. No matter what concern I brought to them, they always had a calm, helpful solution ready.
As a very Type-A bride, I had a detailed guide about where everything should go and what I envisioned. They executed it flawlessly. They understood my vision completely and brought it to life even better than I imagined.
The day itself was so well organised that I barely noticed the transitions between each part of the wedding. The team supported our guests, kept our wedding party energised and excited, and provided such warm, reassuring smiles throughout the day. Even the bar staff were amazing—on my way to the ceremony, when my nerves kicked in, they were right there to reassure me.
I truly can’t thank the entire team enough for their hard work, positivity, and kindness. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Bell to anyone looking for their dream wedding venue. Yes, the setting is beautiful and has a wonderfully homely feel, but it’s the people who make it truly special. They create an environment where you feel safe, supported, and completely at ease—like the best version of yourself.
Looking back, there’s not a single thing I would change. The Bell didn’t just host our wedding; they created an experience we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. Every moment felt intentional, every detail cared for, and every interaction filled with warmth.
To anyone considering this venue: trust the team, trust the process, and you will have the most magical, stress-free day you could ever hope for. We left not only with beautiful memories, but with real gratitude for the people who made them possible.
Thank you, truly, for giving us a day that exceeded every expectation and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Where do we even begin? From the very first (of what felt like a million) emails, Becky was an absolute superstar - patient, funny, and always one step ahead. She somehow managed to make wedding planning feel less like spreadsheets and stress, and more like chatting with an old friend who just gets it.
Then came the big day - and wow. Jess and the team ran everything so seamlessly it felt like magic. Every detail, every glass topped up, every plate perfectly timed - we didn’t have to lift a finger.
The venue itself? Gorgeous. Cosy, romantic, and full of that warm, quirky charm that makes The Bell so special. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home - just, you know, a much prettier, more enchanted version of home.
We laughed, cried, danced (a lot), and had the most incredible day surrounded by our loved ones. The Bell Inn will forever hold a piece of our hearts - and we’ll be forever grateful to Becky, Jess, and the team for giving us the wedding we’d always dreamed of (and keeping us sane through the endless planning emails!).
If you’re thinking of getting married here - do it. You won’t regret a single second (or email).

The most magical, stress free day, we can not recommend The Bell enough!
We had our wedding at The Bell in Ticehurst in September 2025 and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. From the very beginning, the whole process felt easy and relaxed. Becky and Jess were incredible, so calm, organised and genuinely lovely to work with. We never felt stressed or overwhelmed, which is exactly what you hope for when planning a wedding. Everyone kept complementing me on how calm I was as a bride but that’s because The Bell took care of everything for us.
The day itself was everything we wanted and more. The venue is beautiful and full of character, and it created such a warm, intimate atmosphere that our guests are still talking about. It felt so special to celebrate in a place with so much charm and personality.
One of the things we really appreciated was that so much was taken care of in-house. From the food and drinks to the music, accommodation and coordination, everything flowed so smoothly. We felt totally looked after from start to finish.
Having our family and friends stay on-site made the whole time even more memorable. The rooms are all so unique and thoughtfully done, and it meant a lot to have everyone together in one place.
We are so grateful to the whole team at The Bell, especially Becky and Jess for giving us the most unforgettable experience. We couldn’t recommend it more! -

Couldn't have asked for a better venue, they took care of absolutely everything from the moment we woke up that morning which meant we could just enjoy all of it without thinking at all. The whole place is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing and has such a special, relaxed atmosphere that made everyone feel relaxed! -

The best day ever! We wanted a short engagement, we wanted an intimate meal with a big party in the evening. We wanted flexibility, quick responses and an amazing setting. We got everything we wanted and more!! Jess and Becky were complete stars, we had an amazing stay, the food and drink was delicious. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. All our guests loved it and they all said they loved seeing how happy me and my husband were, and The Bell definitely helped with that, helping us have a stress free experience and providing special moments throughout the day (the snug, the red carpet walk, the love nest). Would recommend to everyone.
