The Best Day of Our Lives
We were married at Stratton on 31.08 and we cannot express how perfect the day was from start to finish! We first viewed the venue 5 years ago when we first got engaged and held off booking due to having 2 house renovations before finally booking in 2024, from the first meeting to the final we felt supported by the team and you can really tell how much they love their job! Holly was our coordinator and her energy and love for her couples is infectious! She goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy in the lead up and on the big day we honestly couldn’t fault her and she is a complete credit to the team at Stratton! Everything was exactly how we imagined from the decor to the music all of the team and external vendors made sure everything was perfect. Our guests couldn’t compliment the venue enough from how beautiful it is, to the range of areas you have exclusive access to for your whole day, everyone was so impressed.
The grounds and barn itself are so beautiful and can be decorated in your own way to suit your particular style while still having its own charm. Our content creator had never been to Stratton and absolutely loved it and we had so many places to take pictures in all different styles.
We had a lot of extras we wanted for our day, from live singer, sax player, photo booth, sparklers and nothing was too much for the team everything we wanted was encouraged and set up seamlessly.
We would highly recommend Stratton Court Barn to anyone for their special day, we can’t thank the team enough and are so grateful for giving us the best day of our lives and memories we will cherish forever! We can’t wait to come back during an open day just to relive every moment.
Thank you to everyone involved and especially Holly for being an absolute power house!

There are so many amazing things we could say about Stratton Court Barn, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.
From the very first moment we drove through the gates, walked the grounds and met the team, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. There was something so special about the venue, and we immediately felt that we could see our wedding there.
Taryn was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. She was always so kind, patient and considerate, answering all of our (often very random!) questions and making us feel completely supported throughout the whole process. She really understood what we were envisioning for our day and, most importantly, she made us feel like nothing was ever too much trouble.
On the day itself, Taryn and the entire team went above and beyond for us. Taryn made sure everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely felt completely stress-free and were able to just enjoy every single moment. And my goodness, did everything come together spectacularly! The day was honestly more perfect than we could have imagined, and we truly couldn’t have done it without her and the amazing team behind her.
Seb and the bar team were also fantastic in the evening, looking after us and all of our guests so well and helping to make the evening so much fun.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the grounds are beautiful, the accommodation was cosy and comfortable, and every little detail came together perfectly on the day. But what really made Stratton Court Barn so special for us was the people. From the planning stages right through to the moment we left, we felt so looked after, and we will always be incredibly grateful for that.
Thank you so much to Taryn, Seb and the entire Stratton Court Barn team for being such a huge part of the best day of our lives. We will forever look back on our wedding day with the biggest smiles, and we feel so lucky that we got to celebrate it at such a beautiful and special place. -

We got married at Stratton Court Barn earlier this year and I cannot recommend it and its staff enough!
The venue is truly gorgeous with so much space for your guests, both inside and outside. We had our ceremony in the Rose Garden which was just beautiful, before having our main meal in the Byre and our evening disco in the Main Barn. Every space was great and we found we needed very little decoration to elevate them.
The staff are a true asset to Stratton Court. We are so grateful for Holly, our wonderful wedding co-ordinator, who constantly reassured me in the build up to our day, helped brainstorm ideas for any gaps we had and did the most incredible job setting up and making everything look gorgeous on the day. Our day wouldn't have been half as good without all the work Holly, Seb and all of the staff working did looking after everyone and making sure we all had the best day!
Stratton Court Barn also have a great list of recommended suppliers which they are constantly reviewing and which we were really grateful for as non-locals. We really loved the freedom and flexibility the venue offered with multiple approved caterers, which wasn't something we found when viewing other venues.
Overall, I can't imagine a better venue. Thank you again all of you! -

We had the most EPIC wedding at Stratton Court Barn!!! My (now!!) husband and I knew instantly from our first drive up to this magnificent venue that this was the place for us. We were met with fun, kindness, comfort and the most wonderful wedding knowledge which, let’s face it, we needed desperately, as we did not have a clue what we were doing!!!! From the moment we first made contact, every single member of the team we encountered made us feel so special and welcome. On the big day, both Josh and I were able to relax, knowing full well that everything was in complete control (big up Taryn!).
This seriously is the most exceptional venue, who went out of their way to do their absolute best for us. We thank them with all our hearts. ♥️ -

We cannot recommend Stratton Court Barn enough. We fell in love with the venue on visiting and knew it was perfect. The setting is gorgeous, the buildings are beautiful, and altogether it's just the most wonderful place for a stylish, friendly wedding.
We had our ceremony in the Main Barn, and it was everything we wanted -- intimate and romantic. Through the day, our guests were able to mill around the courtyard and grounds, toasting marshmallows and playing croquet, while the dancefloor in the Main Barn blended seamlessly into the courtyard as night fell. It was exactly what we had had in mind for our day.
What really sets SCB apart, though, is the incredible staff. Our wedding coordinators Charlotte and Taryn were absolutely sublime, responding to every question within hours, constantly trying to accommodate what we wanted. Taryn even managed to get permission for us to have our first dance outside. Taryn went above and beyond in helping us get ready for the day, and she made it so the day caused us absolutely no stress at all: everything just happened without us having to worry about whether the cakes were out, or if the firepit had been lit yet. Taryn, you were better than any review can properly capture, especially in how carefully you ensured I got my walk-in as a bride at the exact moment in the song I wanted. That meant so much to me and Peter.
The bar staff -- particularly night manager Seb -- were equally as professional and helpful, moving all our stuff into Granary Cottage for the night so we didn't have to haul anything around, and even providing tea for us to have after the guests departed. The staff also did the majority of set up and broke down our decorations for us on Sunday morning, which was a godsend for two very tired newlyweds!
SCB is a gorgeous venue run by absolute superstars. Book while you can!! -

We recently had our wedding at Stratton Court Barn, and the entire experience was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, the team was exceptionally friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. They were instrumental in bringing all our ideas to life, making the planning process enjoyable.
On the day itself, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly so we could enjoy our time. We have to call out Taryn, our venue coordinator, who was our absolute legend. Her ability to keep calm and collected was invaluable - she even saved the day by sewing my wedding dress after a mishap during photos!
If you are looking for a venue that truly cares about your day and bringing your vision to life, I cannot recommend Stratton Court Barn enough. -

Stratton court barn is the most beautiful venue I loved how the rooms are all inter connected we had our ceremony in the beautiful main barn and then wedding breakfast in the byre and for the evening we had evening food and a 360 booth in the barn which the venue changed over so well and used all our flowers off our wedding breakfast decor so everything had lots of use! The evening also we had the bar area as our dance floor for the band which worked so well! The grounds are beautiful and well kept flowers all around which makes the pictures amazing for the backdrop! We had 12 children for day and night which was absolutely no trouble as they had a bouncy castle on the grass area and plenty of space they could run around and be safe. The staff at Stratton court barn are incredible a massive shout out and big thanks to Taryn our wedding coordinator she was phenomenal! She made sure our day was flawless and completely stress free! While planning she was great to chat to so friendly, so informative and gave great advice! On our handovers she was so on the ball super organised, took any stress from us! And on the day she was so good to us, everything went exactly as we planned and she set up all our decor exactly as we wanted it and as I said earlier when clearing down the byre from wedding breakfast she used our flowers to make the evening area just as beautiful!
All our guests understood why we chose Oxfordshire for our location and the venue is stunning and worked so well!
If we could do it all again we would in a heartbeat we are so grateful we chose Stratton court barn as our venue was the BEST choice!
