As we’d left a couple of years to plan the wedding, we’d seen a fair few venues by the time we got to Stratton court barn. We parked up and immediately it all just felt right as we walked through the courtyard. What we love about this venue is all the different areas it offers - the lake, the rose garden, the courtyard, the barn, the byre and the woodland - which we chose for our ceremony. All weddings are pricey but the value in this venue is beyond what we could have hoped for. We’ve had nothing but compliments about our choice of venue since the day. Everyone loved the woodland and the open space the venue provides. Doors can also be shut and it can also have a more intimate setting if that’s what you are going for.
They have an excellent variety of caterers to choose from. We opted for S&J caterers and our guests wouldn’t stop talking about the salmon!
They have a great space at the back where the bride and bridesmaids can get ready which lets you have the time with the girls in the morning.
The running of the day was so so smooth we couldn’t believe how well it had gone. Charlotte helped us with bouncing ideas around before the day and on the day she was absolutely on it with preparations and setting up. They were just accommodating from start to finish.
I loved the venue so much that I actually had my hen do there where we did axe throwing, target shooting and rage buggies. Another amazing day spent here with my hens. My partner was gutted he didn’t do his stag here 😂
We stayed in the cottage next door which we found was a godsend after a long day of partying. In the morning after the wedding, all you have to do is drive up to the shed round the back and load up. They do all the putting away for you so you can load the car / van and go!
The morning we left, my husband and I said how sad we were that we wouldn’t be spending time here again. I think this says it all. Maybe we will find an excuse to come back! Thank you to the whole team, we are so happy we found you ❤️

We had our wedding at Stratton Court Barn and m October 3rd and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning – full of character, charm and surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. It felt so private and peaceful, yet everything was so well thought out and organised.
A huge thank you to Rose, who was incredible throughout the whole process. From the very first viewing to the final moments of our wedding day, she was calm, reassuring and endlessly helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made the planning experience so much easier and more enjoyable. On the day itself, she made sure everything ran smoothly so we could just relax and soak it all in.
All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how seamless everything felt. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better day or a better team to help us bring it all together. Stratton Court Barn will always hold such special memories for us – it really is the perfect place to get married. -

If you are looking for a wedding venue then look no further than Stratton Court Barn. This place has everything - ceremony spot, wedding breakfast room, bar with a dance floor and overnight accommodation for newlyweds. We had our wedding on 13.09.2025 and it was amazing! When we first arrived to see the venue, Charlotte was great, professional and very understanding to our vision and ideas. Stratton Court Barn is very beautiful, elegant and unique in so many ways. There is many options for the ceremony to take place at and we got married in Fern Woods. The photo opportunities are excellent around the grounds. You have opportunity to visit the woods, rose garden and the lakes at the back. We were so happy with this venue and booked pretty much straight away to secure our dream wedding. Charlotte was listening to our vision and advising when we were not sure or could not decide, but we never felt pressured to use any extra add-ons. We booked the stables for bride prep and stayed in the cottage overnight to complete our perfect day. I give 5 stars for everything and would 100% recommend to others.

We can’t thank Charlotte and the whole team at Stratton Court Barn enough for everything they did to make our wedding day so perfect. Their incredible organisation and attention to detail meant everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning and created the most magical backdrop for our day. Every corner was picture-perfect, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was.
It truly was the best day of our lives — thank you for helping make it unforgettable!

Stratton court barn is everything and more that you could wish for in a wedding venue. With the exclusive hire you have so many options of where to wed, where to have photos and how to shape your day! Each area is truly breathtaking and all our guests commented on the extraordinary venue.
Charlotte is simply fantastic, on hand from the moment we booked. No question to silly, nothing to much, she really went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed and to ensure the day went exactly as we wished it too. Charlotte is definitely a wedding fairy godmother!
We could not have asked for more from a wedding venue, and we had the most magical, perfect day!

Back in February last year when i started my wedding planning journey I knew the ceremony would be at my family church in St Marys church, kidlington so finding a venue had to be within an hour of Kidlington. I searched online and stratton court was one of the 1st to come up, after seeing photos online I didnt hesitate to book a viewing. As soon as I drove up the Stratton Court Barn down the beuitful tree line drive I was already preety certain I was going to love it. Parking up and walking theough the rose garden and round onto the courtyard with all the outside space and beauitful glass doors into the barn it looked stunning. I met Charlotte who was so enthusiastic about wedding and certianly got my excitement to a whole knew level. Within a few days Stratton Court Barn was booked. Charlotte, Gemma and Rose we're always so quick to reply to emails, and I sent a lot, but they was never fased and always happy to answer any questions big or small. They happily showed both sets of parents and my bridesmaids round the venue on 3 different occasions. The dropping off process was seemless and ramped up the wedding excitment even more knowing that Rose would have everything under control. On the saturday morning Rose was ready to greet me and my bridesmaid bright and early. She had already let me hair and make up artist in early so she was all set up and ready to go which gave us ample time to get ready and have time for 1st look pics before leaving for the ceremony. As with any wedding the timings had gone a little behind after the ceremony but Rose kept us calm and helped us go with the flow. She told our groomsmen what they needed to say for their roles as masters of ceremony and made the rest of our day go swimmingly into the perfect wedding day I could have ever imgained. We later found out itbwas Rose' 1st time leading a wedding, but you couldnt tell. She was very confident, smiley and professional.
Stratton Court Barn had tidied away all our stuff and had it neatly ready for collection on the sunday morning with anouther warm greeting of smiles and congratulations for being officially married. You could see they genuienly cared. All of my guests commented on how stunning the venue was. I can't wait to get all my photos back to see the pics from the lake, rose garden, first dance etc. I would book Stratton Court Barn again in a heart beat.Stratton Court Barn's reply:

Perfect venue 😍
We got married at Stratton Court Barn on 11 April 2025 and honestly couldn’t recommend it more.
From the start, Charlotte was so accommodating in everything we needed to know and answer all my questions, even small.
The planning meeting a few months was so helpful in getting the final details sorted and making us feel at ease for the big day.
And then on the day, everything ran so smoothly with the help of the team, meaning we had nothing to worry about! One of our favourite things was the support of Charlotte on the day who ensured our playlists were played at the right time, a practice run of the aisle walk and she even went above and beyond and used our camcorders to capture some of our favourite moments of the day.
We’re so grateful for everything, just wish we could do it all again!!Stratton Court Barn's reply:
