Best wedding venue & team!!
We recently got married at Stratton Court Barn and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough!!! We viewed around 20 venues within the Cotswolds/Oxfordshire area and once we viewed Stratton Court, we knew it was the one. A particular highlight for us was that they are very flexible with suppliers, unlike other venues we viewed where there isn’t much choice.
Not only is the venue stunning, with lots of different spaces to use throughout the day, the team are absolutely incredible at what they do and so friendly and professional.
Taryn was our wedding Co-Ordinator and she completely made our day what it was, it exceeded our expectations in every way possible. When we met Taryn at our final planning meeting, we knew we were in safe hands! We went through our entire day in detail, and Taryn made suggestions/ideas to enhance the day even more. But on the day, I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. She completely went above and beyond in every way possible, helping me to get into my dress, she decorated the venue beautifully and actually better than I had even imagined, and so much more behind the scenes - she is incredible!! I felt so relaxed on the day of the wedding and this is genuinely all down to Taryn and knowing we were in safe hands.
I also want to mention all of the staff at Stratton court, as everybody we spoke to was incredibly warm and friendly. The bar staff were super positive on the day and all of our guests commented saying what a lovely venue it is and how friendly everyone is.
A great thing about Stratton court barn that other venues do not offer, is that they will decorate the venue for you using your decor, and at the end of the night pack everything down. A lot of other venues we viewed you will need to ask one of your friends/family to do this or hire a styling company. A few days before the wedding, we were able to drop everything off to the venue which meant we could then completely relax which was a huge benefit for us.
We had the best day of our lives and couldn’t recommend Stratton court barn enough -

Cannot recommend SCB (and Holly) enough!
If you're thinking about booking Stratton Court Barn for your wedding - just to do it! We looked at so many venues and the moment we saw SCB, we knew it was 'the one' and just leagues above anything else in the area.
We had such an amazing day and soooooo many people have told us that it was the best wedding they'd been to, and so much of that has to do with the venue. From the getting ready room, to the ceremony room, to the beautiful Byre - it was all amazing! The grounds are stunning, there are so many incredible photo ops and the whole flow of the venue just works phenomonally well. The rooms on offer for the evening also work no matter what the size of your wedding is and it's so great to have the option, as well as have a different room for every stage of the day if you so wish.
Holly was absolutely incredible and I cannot sing her praises enough. She is an amazingly wonderful genius who just went above and beyond and I cannot say enough good things about it her! If you book SCB and have Holly, I promise you that you won't be disappointed and you will have the most incredible day. -

We got married at Stratton Court Barn in September 2026, and we honestly couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue for our special day.
When we started looking for wedding venues, we knew we wanted a beautiful barn in the Oxfordshire countryside. Although there are so many lovely options, Stratton Court Barn stood out to us for so many reasons. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with so much flexibility to make the day truly your own. Between the two barns, the courtyard and the beautiful woodland surroundings, there are endless possibilities to create something really special.
We first visited in June 2025, when Charlotte gave us such a warm welcome and showed us around the barns and grounds. We immediately fell in love with the venue. As a bride, the Stables and Hayloft getting-ready spaces were a particular highlight, offering the most beautiful setting to spend the morning with my bridal party. The on-site cottage is also incredibly special and such a lovely addition to the whole experience. We booked our wedding for September 2026 and attended two open days in the lead-up, which only cemented our decision that we'd found the perfect place.
Holly took over as our wedding coordinator and was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. At our three-month planning meeting, she guided us through every detail, answered all our questions and made the whole process feel so easy. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we felt completely at ease knowing everything was in such capable hands. She coordinated brilliantly with all our suppliers, even going as far as sending our photographer, who hadn't photographed a wedding at the venue before, a walkthrough complete with drone footage to help him familiarise himself with the space.
We were also lucky enough to stay in the on-site cottage the night before our wedding, which made the whole experience even more special. Holly was on hand throughout the day before to help with setting up, logistics and all those last-minute details, which meant we could relax and enjoy the excitement of it all.
What makes Stratton Court Barn so special, beyond the beautiful setting, is the people. The entire team is so genuinely welcoming, kind and attentive, and you really feel that they care about making your day everything you hoped it would be.
On our wedding day, Holly was incredible. She was there putting the finishing touches in place, checking in with both the bridal party and groomsmen to make sure everyone had everything they needed, and quietly ensuring the day ran seamlessly. We can only imagine how much was happening behind the scenes, but from our perspective, everything felt completely effortless. It was also the little things that meant so much, like making sure some evening pizza was saved for us and that our belongings were safely secured in the cottage.
Even the following morning was made easy, with everything thoughtfully gathered in the shed ready for us to collect, making checkout completely stress-free.
Our guests absolutely loved the venue, and we received so many compliments about how beautiful it was.
Stratton Court Barn isn't just a beautiful place to get married; it's a venue with a truly wonderful team who go above and beyond to make your day unforgettable. If you're considering a countryside wedding in Oxfordshire, with gorgeous surroundings, fantastic facilities and easy transport links, we really couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We had our wedding here in September and the day was fantastic. Holly who works for Stratton court barn was an absolute angel and made sure everything ran smoothly - all of our suppliers commented on how efficient, friendly and helpful she was throughout the day and she couldn’t do enough for us.
The rest of the staff were fantastic, so attentive and friendly. Seb the bar manager was great throughout, he was efficient, helpful and such a lovely guy.
Our guests were commenting throughout the day on how beautiful the venue was and how great the staff were. We used one of their recommended caterers, Kearneys, who were brilliant, really great food!
Everything went to plan and we couldn’t have been happier with the day. We wish we could do it all over again and our friends and family keep asking for a round 2 at SCB! -

Jordan Sent on 15/10/2026We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding!
We really struggled to find somewhere that offered both a beautiful outdoor space and an amazing indoor option in case the British weather didn’t play ball, and Stratton had absolutely everything we were looking for.
From the very beginning, it was clear that the team genuinely cared about our guests’ comfort and making sure everyone had the best possible time. They were so accommodating, even letting us have cocktails during our drinks reception that weren’t on the menu (which were delicious!). They were also incredibly open to our ideas, including having our first dance outside and making use of the whole space so everyone could spread out, dance and enjoy themselves without feeling cramped or isolated.
One of our favourite things about the venue is all the little spaces dotted around that are perfect for photos, catching up with people or just taking five minutes together to soak it all in. It felt like there was always somewhere else to explore, and we never once felt rushed, even with another wedding taking place the following day.
But what really made it special was the staff. They were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a BIG party wedding, and the team completely matched our energy and just rolled with it! From conga lines through the courtyard to dancing absolutely everywhere, disco balls and all the chaos in between, they embraced the atmosphere and helped make the day feel us.
Stratton gave us the best of both worlds: a beautiful setting and the freedom to celebrate exactly how we wanted to. We’re so grateful to the whole team for helping us create such an incredible day. If you’re looking for a venue that combines gorgeous spaces, flexibility and a team who genuinely want you and your guests to have the best time, we couldn’t recommend Stratton enough! -

We honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place to get married than Stratton Court Barn. From the moment we first visited, everything about the venue was just beautiful, and on the day itself, it was truly everything I had dreamed of and more.
The whole day felt so completely us, and we have Taryn & the whole team at Stratton Court Barn to thank for the most beautiful venue and memories we’ll cherish forever. Every little detail was perfect, the venue looked absolutely stunning, and we were blown away by how magical everything felt. Our guests still comment on how much they loved the venue & the staff, which made us feel like we really made the right decision!
I can’t emphasise enough how much we loved every single moment of our wedding day, and choosing Stratton Court Barn was THE best decision we made and I wish we could do it all over again!
A huge thank you to the whole team for helping make our dreams a reality. We’ll always look back on our day with so much love and happiness, and we couldn’t recommend Stratton Court Barn enough. 🩵💎 -

What can we say?! Still high on cloud nine. My husband and I got married at Stratton Court Barn on a random Monday (17th!) in August and it was truly the most magical day. We visited Stratton Court Barn and it was an instant yes for me- we didn’t look anywhere else. We loved the fact you have the entire venue to use and the staff really made us feel at home. The communication with Holly who was our wedding coordinator was 10/10. Any question on query we had, she was right on it. And in Holly’s absence, someone was always able to respond. The team have been absolutely phenomenal and you can tell they do this day in and day out. How you do it is beyond me as it’s such a huge operation! But everyone delivers with an abundance of smiles, enthusiasm, good vibes and professionalism. We couldn’t have been happier getting married at SCB - honestly. Our guests have all commented on how gorgeous the venue is and how they felt like they were on holiday! We’d do it all over again in a heartbeat if we could (maybe in 10 years time!). -

September 26 wedding
We got married at the beginning of September and we are so pleased we chose stratton court barn as our venue. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it and the ground. Holly our wedding coordinator was incredible and our day was just perfect! Our guest were taken back when they first stepped in and we had so many compliments on how beautiful it was and how lovely the courtyard was especially as we were blessed with gorgeous weather! The first moment we turned into the driveway of Stratton Court Barn and stepped into the Courtyard we knew it was the one.
From our first visit to the morning after, we were well and truly spoilt. Every person we met along the way - Rose on our first viewing, Charlotte at the open day and the most to Taryn our coordinator in the lead up and on the day - made us feel so relaxed, confident and excited for the day.
What we loved most about the venue is that you're not restricted to where you want each moment of the day. We had our ceremony, drinks reception and speeches in the courtyard (back up in the Barn!), breakfast and party in the Byre and the Bridal getting ready room was so spacious and natural lighting for getting ready. Even the Cottage we stayed in the night of was so perfect (even had our event nanny in there looking after the kids!).
Highly recommend Stratton Court Barn for your wedding! All the staff and vibes were everything and more 🫶🏻
