  The service we received was second to none

  I would like to thank you and your team for such a wonderful day last Saturday. Everything was just perfect as I’d imagined. We were all taken with the room. The service we received was second to none.
  
  Please pass on to your staff how wonderful they were they all deserve credit and thanks.
  
  I will be very happy to recommend the hotel to other friends.

  We just wanted to send an email to you and all your staff to thank you for such a wonderful reception and making our wedding day so seamless and beautiful, from the set up of the space to the lovely hard working staff- everything was brilliant and our reception looked stunning, our vision really got bought to life!
  
  Thank you to yourself, and Gary for being invaluable throughout the whole planning stage and on the day, to William for being there to announce everything and I would like to pass on a special thank you to Siobhan who was fantastic to have around not only with the setting up of the reception but also during our welcome drinks and as an extra pair of hands for my train during our bride and groom shots, I know she only started her role recently and would like to say that she was truly fantastic and a real asset to your team!
  
  We are are so so pleased that we chose to hold our reception at the Mercure Winchester Wessex Hotel, and can't really say thank you enough!

  Also I think I may have left my phone iphone charger in our room (203) would you please be able to see if this has been found and also let us know if there are any other of our wedding bits that were left behind?

  Best hotel ever!

  The best hotel ever!!! I need to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the Mercure but in particular Luca, Lucy and Tamas, who went above and beyond at every turn! We had our wedding reception here on Saturday 28th June 2014, and couldn't have wished for a better venue. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were friendly, polite, helpful and approachable sentiments that were also voices by a number of our guests. The rooms were lovely, the food amazing and the views stunning. We will be back

  wedding still to come but so far very very helpful and great location

  When we went to meet the Manager (Mr Richardson) I was a bit concerned as the building is so modern from the outside and personally I don't think it is very attractive but the restaurant where our wedding will take place is beautiful and all the windows down one wall overlook Winchester Cathedral. I wanted somewhere central so that people could make a weekend of it as many are travelling so far.
  The Manager is very helpful, very polite and very interested in the wedding and couldnt stress enough how important it was that we had what WE wanted and that they would work round us.
  Added bonus - can have wedding photos taken in the grounds of the Cathedral (subject to permission being granted for your chosen date). Would definitely recommend it - also good room rate for wedding guests.

  Such a wonderful day

  We have just got back from honeymonn and had just an amazing time!
  Thank you so much for all your help with the wedding planning, we had such a wonderful day and it was great to see all our hard planning coming to fruition.

  It was a great day

  Dear Lucy,
  We just wanted to say thank you so much for Friday. The food was lovely and it was led out so well too. It really looked great so a big thanks from both of us. The guy behind the bar was so friendly and helpful.

  Service you provided was exceptional

  We all had an absolutely amazing time on Saturday you all helped make our day very special. The food was lovely and the discrete service you provided was exceptional. The whole event was quite special. Big thank you to you and your staff.

  Thank you and all your staff for making our daughter's wedding reception such a success. Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff from yourself and the Master of Ceremonies down to the most junior waiter, were so professional, kind and accommodating; we had many comments from guests who were most impressed by the food but even more by the fantastic service.
  Your hard work and professionalism are much appreciated. Everyone will remember the day for all the right reasons.
