Got married on 29th November and our Lusty Glaze wedding was beyond spectacular. It was everything that we wanted it to be... and more. We honestly wouldn't change a single thing. To be in that glorious setting, surrounded by the people we love, was just fabulous.
The staff at Lusty are wonderful, every single one of them. Our guests keep raving on about how lovely ALL the staff were, how delicious the carvery was and about the beauty of the venue, of course.
We had the winter wedding package with up to 60 day guests. The food was a two meat carvery and it was outstanding.
Amazing photo opportunities and the wedding planning team were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and their communication was always quick, throughout the year of organising.
Highly recommend Lusty Glaze.

We had an exclusive wedding at lusty glaze (30.08.25) and I could not have been happier with how everything went!
Our wedding planner nicole was amazing from the start and she is a real asset to the business both with her meticulous planning skills but also her infectious personality (just the type of person you want around when planning the happiest day of your life!) There was great communication throughout the year which made everything less stressful. You don't need a lot of decor at this venue as it's beautiful but the budget friendly decorations i did buy were arranged on the table beautifully. We were hoping to get married on the beach and I dreaded the idea of getting married inside as I'd convinced myself I didn't like the inside set-up. When the rain didn't allow us to get married outside, I came away thinking I'm glad I was forced to hold the ceremony inside, it was so beautiful and so much better than I pictured it (I say this so future brides know if it doesn't go to plan - it's ok!) We were lucky enough for the sun to come out around 5 o clock and the venue were brilliant at moving things outside. There was a lovely atmosphere between guests, suppliers and lusty staff. Ben, who was working, was also absolutely lovely. The co-ordinators really have a good grip on the flow of the day! The food and cocktails were delicious too!
A few little tips I have for future brides -
If you book an exclusive wedding and don't book the cottage and chalet, they can be booked by other people and them guests are allowed certain sections of the beach. This is in the contract but I didn't read it properly. It certainly didn't effect the day but just worth noting if it is something that bothers you or if you want the accommodation and don't book in time!
The pods, you have to book the pods yourself and then hire them out to your guests. This was one of the more stressful parts of planning and we needed one pod but you have to hire them all. When I finally filled them all, the overall price of the pods had gone up by £500. I explained the situation and the venue did meet us in the middle with the price but I would say if you can it's worth paying the 50% deposit when you get the initial quote and filling them after.
Guests with mobility issues - i wasn't going to get married at lusty due to the stairs but they had recommended a company that could get guests up and down. I booked the wedding without contacting them and when I did contact them, the price was extremely high and you had to give specific pick up and drop off times before the day which was difficult for us to do and my mobility-challenged guests agreed to tackle the stairs themselves in the end. The company has reasons they charge this much so I'm not bad-mouthing them. I would just advise contacting them before booking if you are relying on their services! :)
None of the above are negative points, just considerations and tips for future couples!
Overall it was an amazing day with many people telling me it was the best wedding they'd been to. I feel so lucky to have had our big day at this incredibly special venue!

Where do i start.. Lusty glaze gave us the most amazing wedding day and more than we could ever dream of in early may this year.
Wedding coordinators faye and Naomi were incredible from the start - always quick to respond to emails and guiding us through every process with lots of tips. Our initial accommodation cancelled on us at the last minute, lusty accomodated us at the wonderful cottage and chalet for the whole week after the wedding - we were so happy and i'm glad we did this, during our time we met the wonderful staff and of course the gorgeous resident spaniel chewie.
We had exclusive hire of the beach and hired the pods for our guests. We got married on the beach just- WOW! It was wonderful walking towards the beach and there was an audience from the top of the steps - what a feeling!
From the fabulous bar staff to the wonderful cleaning lady, the people of lusty catered for every need and went the extra mile for any requirement we had.
On our wedding day everything was incredibly organised, the venue was decorated beautifully by faye, the florist and staff. The food was delicious and We had the most stunning sunset for our photographs.
Faye coordinated perfectly with no pressure gently guiding us throughout the day. A special shout out to her - shes such a beautiful kind soul inside and out. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Lusty glaze you will always hold a special place in our hearts, alot of our friends said "it was the best wedding they had ever been too" We cant boast enough about our fabulous day and how lucky we were.
We cant wait to come back and celebrate our anniversary ♥️

Lusty Glaze is as amazing as it sounds. Our wedding day was such a magical experience thanks to all at Lusty Glaze. They were friendly yet professional throughout. Any questions we had were answered quickly. Thank you Lusty Glaze for making our day perfect! -

Cannot thank or recommend enough. What a beautiful place and amazing people. We organised our original date for May 2018. We visited the venue 2 years before and instantly loved its chilled out feel and the fact it is very family and dog friendly. This was a huge bonus. We were bringing 80 guests from Sheffield so it ticked all the boxes. After booking, everything was done via email or phone. Working with their approved suppliers we sorted everything with no fuss. We just had to get there. Naomi and the team were so helpful throughout. Sadly a health scare and emergency surgery the morning of the wedding caused a cancellation and postponement. Which again was done with support, care and no fuss. Helping sort all suppliers out and support our families. Our date moved to August 2019 and it was the best day ever. Very emotional but I will always be grateful and thankful to all. Lusty Glaze will always be a special place for us and our families. We return whenever we can. If you haven't booked yet. Don't hang about. You won't regret it. It was even beautiful in the rain and we all enjoyed a paddle after the ceremony. Especially the dogs and kids. -

I cannot recommend Lusty Glaze enough for a wedding venue. It exceeded all my hopes and dreams. From the moment we sat down with the wedding coordinator to discuss it as an option to having the time of our lives dancing the night away it was an amazing experience. They pretty much take care of everything! The support and experience they offer is great.
It couldn’t have looked more stunning, absolutely dripping in fairy lights. Glowing! The views are amazing whatever the weather and we had alllll the weathers! I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. We will definitely renew our vows there just so we get to do it again! Huge love to the whole team xx -
