If you are thinking of booking Kings Chapel for your wedding , absolutely do it!

If you are thinking of booking Kings Chapel for your wedding , absolutely do it! From start to finish the support, advice and help was incredible! We have formed such a bond with Kings and its charm and plan to visit annually to revisit our venue for dinner & drinks.

A special mention to Lara our wedding coordinator, when we met she put us at ease and nothing was ever too much trouble - a huge support on the build up and on the day. Queries or questions were always answered efficiently and we built a great relationship.

Every supplier we spoke too, couldn’t recommend Kings highly enough which is exactly what you want and everyone worked like one big team - it was seamless and gave a great vibe to our day.
The food was incredible, everyone commented on this and especially one vegan guest who said they had never been so catered for before at a wedding - amazing. We had canapés which were delicious and Kings kept a separate board for Bride & Groom which was a lovely touch, the 3 course meal everyone commented on how incredible the food was but also the service was top notch, ticking off every guest as they went round each table and lots of servers which made everything smooth. We also had the wood fire pizza which went down such a treat at the end but of the night - delicious! & the gin bar which was beautifully put together with tonics, garnish etc.
We also had a meal the night before which was sooooo good too, amazing top quality pub classics! We stayed at the Kings Arms the night before and our wedding day and made use of the late night bar too. It was so great to be able to spend breakfast with our wedding party too! These extra options were great to have.

We would recommend Kings to anyone.
Kings will always hold a special place in our hearts and we honestly had the best day! If we could do it again we would! Thank you!

Amazing wedding at the Kings Arms Hotel!

Antony and I got married this past Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Kings Arms Hotel. Our wedding planner, Lara, did an amazing job ensuring that every detail was executed to perfection, going above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend having your wedding at the Kings Arms Hotel in Old Amersham! All of our guests were complimentary of the food, decorations, and the organization of the reception. The staff at the Kings Arms is exceptionally professional and caring, making us feel truly special.

Wonderful!

What can I say?

Our wedding took my breath away. There was not a second that the KC team were not working so so hard to make it run smoothly and look beautiful. Not a single hitch, everything looked unbelievable. The service was exceptional and the respect we were shown was off the scale. Everything from music to lighting, decoration to food to drinks to clearing away was amazing. We have no words. Our vision was met beyond our wildest dreams and when those doors opened I couldn't believe it was the same place that we viewed (although already beautiful). Just stunning. And that party. Perfection.

We had exceptional support over the year leading, especially as things got closer and we were especially needy. They were wonderful and we are so glad we were assigned Kiera as our planner. Kiera is so great at her job and we cannot thank her annd KC enough.

Perfect venue for an intimate wedding

We got married at Kings Chapel in July 2022 and had the ceremony and the reception there. It was an amazing experience - perfect venue, wonderful staff who clearly enjoy what they do, and were supportive and unflappable. Food was amazing. It was fantastic having the hotel next to the chapel. It really was such a perfect day.

August wedding

Beautiful location but…. They are very weird about use of the gardens even early in the evening in a summer wedding. They don’t make any of these rules clear and it’s far from flexible. Communication was often borderline rude.
The food was expensive and the bride (coeliac disease) was served cold roast potatoes clearly from someone else’s plate rather than the wedges which were meant to be gf (as on food tasting!) Food tasting was frankly a shambolic experience too and wine tasting included 2 wines- so not much to taste!
Food service was very late and none of the staff seemed to care. Ran out of champagne glasses so again the bride didn’t even have a drink! I really thought it was going to be better.
