We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was something special. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds that gave us the perfect backdrop for both our photos and the day itself.
One of the best things about this venue is how well it works for couples who want everything in one place. We were able to have our ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception all onsite, which made the day flow seamlessly and kept everything relaxed for us and our guests. The venue has a lovely garden space too, which meant we had the option of an outdoor ceremony (even though we opted for indoors) and plenty of space for guests to mingle and enjoy the sunshine. It's such a versatile space, a true blank canvas, set in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, that can be styled to suit any couple’s vision, whether you want something rustic, elegant, or more contemporary.
The food and drink were another highlight! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the wine pairings were spot on. The pizza chef in the evening was a huge hit with everyone, not just for his tasty pizzas but also for the fun, personal drawings he added to the boxes. It’s those quirky little touches that made the day feel so memorable.
The staff were phenomenal from start to finish. Every single person we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our day the best it could be. The bedrooms are all unique and full of character, and having our loved ones stay on site made the whole weekend feel extra special.
It was also brilliant value for money considering everything that’s included, we just wish we could do it all over again! We can’t recommend this venue highly enough to any couple looking for a beautiful, flexible space where the entire day can come together effortlessly. -

A Perfect Day Made Even Better by The King’s Chapel Team!
We had the most incredible experience at The King’s Chapel! From the very start, Kiera, Lara, Sallieann, and the entire team were welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making our day unforgettable. Sallieann, in particular, was exceptional—her warmth, organisation, and attention to detail ensured everything ran flawlessly.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests. Everyone felt looked after, and we received so many compliments from friends and family about how welcoming and comfortable the space was.
On the day, the whole team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything went exactly as planned. Their dedication, calm efficiency, and friendly presence meant we could relax and truly enjoy every moment of our wedding, knowing everything was in expert hands.
We can’t thank Sallieann and the rest of The King’s Chapel team enough for making our day so seamless, special, and stress-free. They are simply outstanding! -

We had our wedding here in August 2025 and it was the most amazing day. The venue is so unique and allows you to dress it up the way you like.
Sallie (our wedding planner) was amazing from start to finish and made a very stressful 18 months, as painless as possible! Her expertise and organisation skills allowed us just to enjoy the process, knowing she had everything in hand along the way up until the very end.
Our whole experience was one we’ll never forget and we’re so glad we chose to get married here. -

From the very first moment we viewed Kings Chapel, we knew that this was going to be our wedding venue.
Keira was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and was always at the end of an email or phone call. It was a pleasure to work with Keira.
Sallieann was absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to work with.
Both Keira and Sallieann were amazing and would recommend them.
Venue was absolutely stunning and everyone who worked on the day were perfect, friendly and supportive. All staff members were friendly and helpful even the following morning.
We would 100% do the day again with Kings Chapel.

We had our wedding reception at Kings Chapel on 2nd August 2025 and it was a phenomenal venue. It was great to be able to tell guests about the amazing features of the building itself, like the unsupported domed ceiling (the second largest in England) and the appearances of the Kings Arms hotel in films. We had the most magical wedding reception here, and the planning was smooth thanks to the brilliant events team. Our co-ordinator Sallieann responded promptly to all our queries (even on her days off), and was a really fun and reassuring person to work with. Kings Chapel included some gifts (the bridal suite & brides accommodation the night before both free of charge) as part of our package because we were booking with under 9 months from the wedding date. Planning fairly quickly was made smooth with the KC team, led by Sallieann, who would answer our queries seemingly at all times of day and night. We had full oversight of the function sheet that staff would be working to on our wedding day, and Sallieann was able to offer good advice about realistic catering requirements and where small savings might be made. There are so many ways to personalise this venue to your own taste but it has to be said it’s stunning just as it is, purely full of love and your favourite people. Our guests have raved about how delicious the food was, and how relaxed and fun the day was, which is largely down to the hardworking team behind the scenes. Thanks Kings Chapel, we'll be back to see you for our anniversary and already can't wait!
