We had an amazing experience with Heaton from start to finish. The team were incredibly helpful, organised, and professional throughout. Especially Harriet, who was super helpful and really took the time to understand our timeline and vision for the day, bringing everything to life!
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful! We had to move our ceremony indoors due to rain, but there's so many options and different parts to the venue that the day never got stressful or boring. The transition from the daytime celebrations into the evening felt so natural and effortless. Our guests had a fantastic time, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day!

More than just a wedding venue
I think it’s always difficult to read reviews of wedding venues, because naturally, for the couple writing them, it was the best day of their lives. But what makes Heaton House so special is that they don’t just care about your one day, they care about the entire journey that leads you there.
From the very beginning, we felt looked after. Not only did our wedding day surpass every expectation we could possibly have had, but we were able to actually enjoy our engagement, enjoy planning our wedding and, most importantly, enjoy the process of getting married. What could have been a daunting task became one of the happiest parts of our engagement because we knew we had such an incredible team behind us.
No ask was too great. No idea was too small. You want tiramisu for your wedding cake? No problem. You want cricket on the lawn? That sounds fun. You have treasured family recipes that you’d love recreated for your wedding breakfast? The wonderful catering team will make it happen.
And that, to us, is what sets Heaton House apart. At no point did it ever feel transactional. We never felt like another wedding, another booking or another invoice. We felt listened to, valued and cared for. Every little detail mattered to them because it mattered to us.
And then, of course, there is the venue itself. It is beautiful and manages to feel warm, welcoming and completely at home at the same time. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it, and somehow it became even more beautiful on our wedding day.
We feel incredibly lucky to have got to know so many of the people who make Heaton House what it is. From the wonderful office team, to the incredible catering staff, to everyone working behind the scenes, every single person we encountered was kind, enthusiastic and invested in making our wedding the best it could possibly be.
A very special thank you has to go to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Chloe. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for anyone better. She was the warmest, calmest presence throughout the entire process and somehow always made everything feel completely manageable. She promised us good weather and, by God, she delivered!
Perhaps the greatest compliment we can give Heaton House is that we don’t feel like we’ve simply left our wedding venue behind. We feel like we’ve made friends there, and knowing that we are welcomed back to celebrate future anniversaries and special occasions makes it all the more special.
You can have an exceptional wedding in many places, but at Heaton House, you are guaranteed something even more valuable: an exceptional journey to get there.
Thank you to every single person at Heaton House for giving us not only the most incredible wedding day, but an engagement and wedding-planning experience that we will look back on with just as much fondness. We couldn’t recommend you more highly. Thank you for just being you.

The Gold Standard of Wedding Venues
When choosing our venue, we visited four potential locations in total. Heaton House Farm was the second venue, and after that, nothing else compared. The vibe we got from the location, the staff and the general atmosphere was out of this world and we just knew it was the perfect choice for us.
Harriet was allocated as our wedding coordinator, and we couldn't have been happier. Our day was absolutely perfect. Harriet kept us calm and on track with our schedule while keeping the entire experience incredibly relaxed. Even our guests commented on how organised yet completely chilled the whole day was. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heaton House Farm, we only wish we could live our perfect day all over again!

Our wedding at Heaton House Farm was truly the best day of our lives. From the moment we booked, the team were on hand to support our queries and questions, and guided us through the process.
Our wedding planner from the venue, Harriet, ensured the day went off without a hitch. As the bride, it was always a bit nerve racking to be the first to arrive and see everything be set up, but the team all ensured I was happy and relaxed.
Heaton House Farm and their catering team ensured all of my guests were happy and looked after (including ensuring my disabled mum was comfortable - thank you so much for this ❤️). All of our guests have expressed how they really enjoyed the day, the venue, and how everything ran seamlessly.

Where to begin… we know from our first tour of Heaton house with Harriet that this was going to be our venue. We also couldn’t be more thankful for Anya our wedding coordinator, she was fantastic. She kept both me and my husband in formed of every detail and what was happening and when. She also made sure to check how we was getting on and if we was okay. Me and my husband had private vows before the ceremony and a surprise entrance for our guests before our first dace, those little details that she was able to organise on the day just made it that more special thanks to her help.

Heaton House Farm couldn’t have been any more perfect for us. The fact that we were inside all day didn’t matter as we had so many different spaces to use. Anya and Kate were so responsive to anything we needed- so professional and had every element covered. Heaton House Farm Wedding Venue
We knew we wanted to have our wedding at Heaton House Farm from the moment we walked through the door. The location is perfect, being surrounded by beautiful countryside. From the outset the staff made everything so easy and were always on hand if we needed to check on anything or just ask a question. What they don’t know about wedding planning is not worth knowing.
The wedding day itself was also perfect, from start to finish. The pamper room is a brilliant feature and meant that we could get ready with our bridal party and have lots of room, and that amazing view!! We booked the breakfast which was lovely and kept us all going. As we were getting ready together, we had a little issue with having to hide my dress until I was ready to put it on but Harriet was great and sorted that out for us very quickly.
The staff were on hand all day and when they finished for the day they handed over to a very friendly guy who kept an eye on things and even had a dance!!
Everywhere looked amazing and our family and friends are still talking about the wedding and the venue. Lots of them stayed over and were all really happy with the rooms, as were we with the amazing Bridal Suite.
Heaton House is a wonderful venue set in the most beautiful location. The water gardens are perfect for the couples’ photos and we are thrilled with the pictures we have received from Cris Lowis.
Breakfast in the Old Stableyard the next morning was just what everyone needed and a lovely place to see our friends and family off from.
10/10 doesn’t really cover how we feel about having our wedding at Heaton House. Everything was way beyond our expectations. Thank you all for a fabulous weekend.
