The perfect wedding venue
We had such a special day at Gorse Hill Hotel! The venue grounds are immaculate, the staff were also very attentive. Nicky on the day and prior was fantastic, she kept us up to date and the day went so smoothly which as a bride can relieve a lot of stress! I would highly recommend this venue as the day was so magical -

Gorse Hill was an amazing place for our wedding 19.7.25. The grounds and rooms were beautiful and all our guests complimented how amazing the venue was. We also had lots of complements about how delicious and tasty the food was from the Canapés to the main meal and also the evening food! On top of that, there was plenty of space across the venue to make the most of everything we wanted to do. This included capturing group photos, hiring a Photo Booth as well as a sax player, and having adult games on the grass area (even though the weather prevented us from using them). The venue were able to accommodate for bad weather too, which helped us still have the best day. All the staff were friendly and helpful not only on the day, but in the months leading up to our wedding too. The hotel rooms were also lovely to stay in. -

We recently had our wedding at Gorse Hill, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Everything on the day was seamless from start to finish — the communication, the planning process, and especially the day-of coordination. The venue itself is stunning — The grounds, the hotel and the event space were perfect for how we saw our wedding. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for: romantic, relaxed, and most importantly unforgettable.
A huge thank you to Brandon for going above and beyond to make sure every detail on the day was perfect. We truly felt supported every step of the way and were able to enjoy our day completely stress-free. He is the person you want to have on the day to help and guide. If you're considering Gorse Hill for your wedding or event — do it. You’ll be in incredible hands, and your day will be everything you dream it to be.
Thank you to Nicky for brilliant communication, always responding within minutes and being super helpful with organising and planning.

Magical Winter Wedding
Our wedding was in February 2025 and the team at Gorse Hill made our day magical!
Nicky and Scott were fantastic, really organised, very responsive and happy to help with as much as they could which was great. They both went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect, which my Husband and I will be forever grateful for.

The venue was absolutely stunning, the food was exceptional, and everything ran so smoothly thanks to the team's dedication and attention to detail. Our guests were full of compliments, and we’ve received so many lovely messages about how much they enjoyed the day.

Can't recommend Gorse Hill highly enough. Nicky and the team were fantastic. The whole day ran so smoothly, and everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was and how well organised the whole reception was. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the day knowing that everything was being taken care of for us and for that we're both very grateful. Brandon was also fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more. -

The best day
We got married at gorse hill on 26th may and even though this was their fourth wedding in a row, they still made our day the best for us. Nicky our wedding coordinator was very helpful throughout the whole process with whatever questions we had. Brandon and his team on the day helped things run smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Even without asking they sorted out matching lighting in the ceiling alcoves to match our colour scheme. The food was great too. We would highly recommend this venue! -
