Glewstone Court has been incredible from the moment we viewed it to the end. As soon as we walked through the doors we knew it was where we wanted to hold our wedding, it was the perfect place. The venue is warm, welcoming and homely, they really care about each wedding they hold at Glewstone. We visited multiple other venues that felt like we were just another number and were shown around on the mornings of peoples weddings, but not at Glewstone. The team are amazing, they made us and all our guests feel incredibly special. We’ve had so many compliments from guests regarding the food, service, how friendly everyone was and how nothing was ever too much, people have said how it’s one of the best venues they’ve been too.
I genuinely believe the reason we were so calm in the run up to the day was because the team handled everything for us from suppliers, setting up, organising the day and they even packed everything away the following day which was so unexpected. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the entire weekend we knew we were in great hands.
We had our pre-wedding meal at Glewstone Court the evening before we got married which was amazing, it was so nice to have the option of having some of our closest family and friends spend the evening with us and the food was perfect. I’d definitely recommend the 48 hour hire of the venue, it made the weekend so special and felt like a mini holiday surrounded by the orchard and beautiful grounds.
I think I could list a million reasons as to why couples should choose Glewstone Court to get married at. It really is the most special place and I couldn’t recommend it enough if I tried!

“The best wedding we’ve ever been to”
We are so happy we chose Glewstone for our wedding. From enquiring to the big day all of the team were fantastic, Charles the event coordinator is exceptional at his job and he went above and beyond for us on our big day. We had a dinner with family and friends the night before which was amazing, and the wedding day ran so smoothly! All the staff were so lovely and all our guests and suppliers felt so welcomed. The food on the day was amazing and we got so many comments on how nice it was! There was also a lot of options to choose from, alongside complete flexibility on our decor and little personal touches. Since we booked the venue has been thoughtfully updated and it is such a beautiful cosy place. The grounds are stunning and the bridal suite was spectacular. Lots of our guests said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Thank you to all the team for making our day so perfect! -

From the moment we went to have a look around, we were extremely well looked after by Glewstone. Beautiful intimate venue with a real family feel to it. The day ran so smoothly, the food was fantastic and the staff (Sam and Charles especially) could not do enough for you. Beautiful rooms with the most amazing facilities. Everyone absolutely loved it and it was the best day of our lives. THANK YOU! -

Quite simply: perfect.
We wanted a venue that could host us the night before, accommodate the family and wedding party on site and have a beautiful setting with enough room for the guests to have fun and dance in the evening. It was also important that we could have a spectacular ceremony indoors or outdoors, with flexibility depending on the weather.
Glewstone Court has all of this, but the main reason we chose Glewstone Court was because it is an independent, family-run business who are dedicated to making your day spectacular. It probably helps they've even hosted their own family weddings at the venue! You really get to know the team, with Sam and Charles running the day to absolute perfection and Amy planning everything to a T (and with endless patience!). They really get it.
It's really not a 'wedding factory' like some similar venues in the South West. Everything was flexible and tailored, with them even sharing fresh ideas of how to do things different from our first look around.
They also have an in-house catering team who we've had three meals with now and each one has been delicious. We knew the food would be great on the day but it really exceeded expectation.
The whole team are everything and more you could want in a supportive wedding planning and coordinating team. It was weird to say goodbye and we can't wait to return and see them all again. -

From start to finish, our experience at this venue was nothing short of incredible. The team went above and beyond with their exceptional service especially Charles who looked after us throughout our whole stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. We opted for a 48 hour hire, which allowed us to dress the venue the day before and have a meal at the venue the night before which was the perfect way to start the celebrations.
All the food was absolutely amazing, from the meal the night before to our wedding breakfast and evening food, and we were especially impressed with the attention to detail concerning our guests with dietary requirements. We chose Heritage Tomato Salad for starter, Roast Lamb Rump for main and Chocolate Cremeux for dessert. We could not have been more impressed with the quality of food served to every one of our guests. Since our wedding over 3 months ago now, our guests are still talking about our wedding breakfast. The lamb especially was a big hit! As well as amazing food, Sam and the team helped organise the serving of our choice of cask beers over the 48 hours of our stay (Butty Bach and HPA), as well as favourite cocktails on their outdoor cocktail bar.
We were lucky enough with the weather to be able to have our ceremony outside overlooking the orchard and also make use of the beautiful courtyard during the evening. These areas really made the venue for us.
We had the most amazing wedding day and couldn't be happier with our experience! -

Amazing wedding from start to finish. Had the venue (Glewstone) for the 2 days - lovely family/friends meal on the Fri evening to wake up in lots of good time for the day itself.
The team at Glewstone thought of everything - so professional, definitely in safe hands here.
Beautiful surroundings - everything was just amazing and we both definitely recommend for your wedding 😊 Food was exquisite!

We had our wedding at Glewstone a couple of weeks ago, and we were blown away with how easy everything was. From the initial booking to our final goodbyes, the team at Glewstone epitomise hospitality. It’s clear all of the team really care about what they do, and do everything they can to make the day as perfect as possible. In particular, all of our guests (and us) were in awe of how assiduous Charles was as our wedding coordinator. We genuinely don’t think we’d have had such a good few days if we’d have booked elsewhere, we’re so glad we did. We’ll be back!
