  Mr and Mrs Barker 03/05/2025

  Just want to thank the double tree for everything they did to make our special day go smoothly the team was amazing from answering all my questions and to making sure we got what we wanted on our day!
  
  
  To all the staff thankyou for making our day perfect and if there was a problem sorting it straight away!
  
  The DJ Troy and the gang was amazing and couldn’t fault them, we had the dance floor and the Mr and Mrs barker sign and our guest loved it
  
  Our photographer Oliver did an amazing job and our Photo Booth was amazing too!
  
  I would do our day over and over again!

  A perfect wedding day

  
  After months of preparation, it was a pleasure to see our day come together exactly as planned. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism throughout. Particular recognition goes to Fiorella, our dedicated wedding coordinator; Tara and Rosalyn, who ensured our rooms were beautifully presented; and Chris, the duty manager, whose coordination made the event run seamlessly. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the service and hospitality team — the waiters and waitresses who worked tirelessly with such warmth and professionalism to look after our guests. Special thanks also go to Troy of TGS Entertainment for providing outstanding DJ services, additional décor, and the magic mirror photo booth, which added so much to the celebration. The hotel is a true credit to its team.

  Wedding planner

  I dident think the wedding planner was teally professional i had to ring her all the time email her most of the tome But on the day tara was fantastic nothing was to much she went above and beyond

  Amazing staff & Great Venue

  My daughter had her wedding reception here January 2020. What a brilliant day it was and we cant thank the events and hotel team enough. The venue itself is beautiful and with the extra touches from the events team it was an amazing back drop for so many beautiful photos and memories. Their planning and delivery was meticulous and the food was good too. A specific thank you to Rosalyn who helped with so much of the planning and to Tara who ensured everything went smooth on the day & of course to the rest of the team who helped make it happen in such a professional friendly manner.

  A truly magical day

  We wanted a big wedding but without all of the stress of having to book and keep in touch with several different suppliers. This is where the Doubletree and Stephanie were perfect. We booked the all inclusive package which meant that pretty much everything was done for us hassle free, leaving us to enjoy the build up to the big day.
  
  Nothing was too much to ask and on the evening before our wedding my sister and I were treated to a gorgeous three course meal and a beautiful room, making the build up and preparation even more special and exciting. The addition of an all you can eat breakfast delivered to our room the next day was brilliant and meant we could stay in our room to prepare for the day.
  
  The day itself went without a hitch and we were well looked after by both Stephanie and Nicola, the master of ceremonies. The ceremony was beautiful and emotional and a lot of hard work had been put into making the area look stunning. The guests were very complimentary of the wedding breakfast and all of the staff were accommodating to a variety of dietary needs. Extra food and ice cream was even brought out free of charge to some of our bigger eaters!
  
  When the evening guests started to arrive, they were in awe of the beautiful set up of the orchard suite. Staff were on hand all night to ask if there was anything we needed and to talk us through the plan of the evening. Nicola was fantastic at helping to organise the extra special event of our baby gender reveal after the first dance. Overall, an absolutely amazing day and night and we’re so grateful to the Doubletree for making our day perfect!

  The perfect day

  July the 6th 2019 i married my best friend and soul mate and its all thanks to the double tree Nottingham family when we say the whole day revolves around you and your partner it dose . My wife slept the night before and she had amazing meal and night before then wedding. The day of the wedding couldn't of run smother and you haven't got to worry a thing its all in hand . You kept up too date of everything form the moment you book to the moment you say i do incredible service

  Perfect day!!

  We got married on Saturday 23rd March 2019 and wow what a day it was! Everything went so smoothly and the staff couldn’t do enough for you before the wedding and on the day! Big thank you to Stefanie, Nicola and Jordan who made our day special! The venue is very modern and clean and the garden suite (ceremony room) and orchard suit (wedding breakfast and reception) was dressed beautifully thanks to Stefanie and lush occasion :). There was nothing we could fault with this venue and had so many comments about how perfect the day was and how lovely the food was too.

  Amazing wedding day

  We had our wedding day yesterday and what a amazing day it was.. we first met Steph many months ago and she is a amazing lady, reassured us that every thing will be great and so it was, she made it perfect for us and helped us plan the whole lot, on the day she came up to my room with Nicola who was our coordinator for the day and they both greeted me and my family who I was with and I was very nervous, they both had a amazing attitude and kept reassuring me that I would be OK, I was very nervous, I can’t thank Steph enough for what she has done for us, moving on to our evening meal the chefs where amazing, the food was amazing, we where offered lots to drinks, they made sure every one was OK and nothing was to much for them, Nicola and Jordan looked after us for the evening and Jordan is very professional and amazing, nothing is to much for him and he clearly takes pride in his work, he made sure every thing was just perfect and it really was perfect! Such a great team, every thing was amazing from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier, but a huge thanks to Steph, Nicola and Jordan, you have such a great team and we are a happy bride and groom! Love always.. Mr and Mrs Pleasance xxx
