Having our wedding at the Skybar was absolutely AMAZING! From the team, to the space, to the view, everything was nothing short of incredible. We were lucky to have Kimberley as our wedding organiser for the day, and she was amazing. Super accommodating from the beginning, with helping us book our day. Our wedding was a location wedding for us, so our initial tour was over Zoom and the venue did everything they could to accommodate that, which was incredible.
The service you recieve is impeccable.
The space is wonderful, I mean the view, we were lucky to have a pure blue sky day, and everyone said that the view alone made the day, and it did for us too. We came away with not only magical memories but photos to die for.
Kimberley and the team are fabulous, bringing our day together, they did a fabulous job and we so grateful.
The food and drinks is 10/10, so yummy and filling!
I cannot say anything negative about this venue! Honestly it was the best place to get married and we are so incredibly grateful for everything that was done for us. -

From the very first open day visit, to our final details meeting we have been nothing but impressed with our experience at the Skybar Edinburgh. It had everything we were looking for in a wedding day that was unique to us.
We had an intimate wedding ceremony at the City Chambers Edinburgh with 16 family members in the afternoon, then headed over to the Skybar around 3:30. We had a beautiful spread of sandwiches and wraps put on for us arriving as we wanted a light bite before the night time event. The service at the bar was excellent, we were impressed especially with the lager as many of our guests commented how good a pint it was!! Also a great aperol spritz for me :)
Following this, we celebrated with our extended family and friends from 5pm onwards! We wanted this celebration to feel very much like a wedding and have all the factors of your usual post ceremony events, canopies, speeches, cake cutting and first dance.
The events manager Kimberley answered any of my mad questions and requests efficiently! She made our vision come to life and arranged all the wee details to perfection. Our master of ceremonies Oscar was excellent on the day with helping us keep to timings and announcing all the events of the night. I would book this again in a heartbeat and would recommend having any celebration here! -

Family Wedding
The support & professionalism shown by the Hilton staff from our initial engagement at the wedding open day through until the actual event was second to none. Kimberley Hicks provided ongoing updates and reassurance throughout the whole process especially when we needed it. The reception staff, Euan the wedding master of ceremonies and manager Andres ensured our every needs were met during the wedding weekend. -

The SKYbar team are wonderful 💒
After our original venue cancelled on us 5 months before our date, Kimberley and her team stepped up to provide us with an amazing package with our chosen date still available.
I truly cannot fault the events staff for how they ran the day and although I had given a rough guide for my decor, Kimberley, Euan and the rest of the team made sure it looked even better by adding little touches and bringing everything together.
As a bride, I felt incredibly supported and knew when and where to be, with little reminders of where to hold my bouquet which really helped. This support was also extended to my maid of honour which we both really appreciated.
Euan also helped me with a dress emergency when my fabric wouldn't steam out the creases, it took him a good 20 minutes to get these out and truly saved the day!
The food and service were wonderful, we felt the pace of our wedding was very relaxed and there was no rushing.
The venue itself is stunning with wonderful views which changed over the course of the day from day to night.
Although attached to the hotel, this venue really is its own special place, and we'll remember it for years to come!

We got married here last weekend, from the initial enquiry right through to the day - the team at the sky bar were AMAZING.
Kimberley was a superstar, assisted us with every detail and her communication was excellent.
She was there on hand for every email and phone call, every meeting and was just the most kind and caring person.
Ewan was our master of ceremonies, he was absolutely brilliant and had the day working like clockwork. He created such a lovely atmosphere for our guests and kept us calm throughout the day.
We are so grateful to have both Kimberley and Ewan as such big parts of our day, they made the whole wedding planning process so enjoyable and supported us so well.
The food was also incredible, every single guest commented on how good it was!!

We had our wedding here on Saturday 1st June 2024 and it was absolutely amazing. The service we received from Alba and the team leading up to and on the day was fantastic. Alba was a dream to plan our wedding with, so chilled yet very professional and taking away any worries or stress I had! The venue is stunning so bright with amazing views of Edinburgh castle and beyond. The whole day ran so smoothly, and I highly recommend using their in house DJ as he was so good and really lovely too! All our guests had an amazing time. Personally I love that it’s in the city centre and that we can always visit easily for anniversaries etc as it’s sometimes open to public for drinks/brunch. We stayed in the Hilton hotel as well which was beautiful too. Honestly can’t recommend this venue enough!! -

World class
We got married in April, and the whole experience was fabulous, best day ever and nothing amiss☺️
From start to finish the communication was on point- and organising the day was made a breeze even though we were organising it from England.
Alba was a delight and couldn't have been more helpful- at every turn she walked us through every question we had (there were a lot) and made the whole organisation simple and efficient!
The decor was spot on, the package was perfect and cost effective!
Euan was our master of ceremony for the day and made us feel so at ease , walking us through every aspect of our day and kept us cool with his pleasant smile and calming presence.
Perfect team and a perfect venue! -

Could not recommend enough
We had to pull our wedding forward so had less than 12 weeks from booking our wedding to walking down the aisle at Skybar. From the minute we enquired about booking staff were supportive and couldn’t do enough for us. On the day of the wedding it was totally faultless, staff were so attentive to us all, meeting all of the needs of the guests and wedding party. I cannot put into words how much I would recommend that people would get married here, the day ran smoothly and both myself and husband couldn’t believe how it ran with no hiccups considering the short amount of time we had to plan. The food was delicious and were options for meeting dietary requirements which were very enjoyable too. The venue in itself is decorated tastefully and with the view of the castle it sells itself. We got married on a rainy day in February- a classic Edinburgh day and even although, the venue still looked stunning. The option is there to use their centre pieces which is great as it’s one less thing to worry about, the staff set the venue up beautifully and swiftly in between ceremony, meal and evening. If I have to say one thing that stood out for us the most is the staff, they played a huge part in our wedding and deserve the recognition for the job they do! If we could do it all over again we wouldn’t change anything about the day! -
