There was not one fault with askham hall! The venue is amazing and the food is even better! Jenny our wedding planner but the day run so smoothly and everything to plan! It was the best day ever! -

Dream venue
We got married here in September 2024, askham hall had everything we wanted in a venue, stunning lawns, country house and barn and we got to incorporate all of these areas into our day! We were very lucky with the weather and got married outside, lucie our co-ordinator was very attentive and made sure every detail was met, no complaints at all. It was also very specific to have our dogs welcome at the venue. Would highly recommend -

Gorgeous venue and the food is amazing.
The barn the day before being set up for us to add finishing touches too was good. Although the day had a few delays to (not due to the venue) everything else was perfect.
The night before was lovely as well. All family and friends in the same place enjoying a bbq in the medieval hall. -

Could not of asked for anything more
Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish.
We were lucky enough to have Jenny assigned as our wedding planner. Nothing was too much trouble, she answered our endless questions with ease and promised us that everything would be taken care of- it most certainly was.
From the BBQ the night before to the wedding day the food was incredible. We could not have certain meats throughout the weekend and they replaced this for us no problem.
We also want to thank the wider Askham Hall team. Everyone was so kind, friendly and made sure the whole day ran without a hitch. All my guests commented on how lovely everyone was.
To top the service and food off the venue itself has so much to offer. From the main house, the barn, the medieval hall, all 18 bedrooms, the gardens - even the resident pigs. We were lucky enough with the weather to be able to explore it all. The gardens are pristine.
Couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. Don’t hesitate to go for a viewing. -

The Team at Askham Hall are second to none. They were attentive, supportive and did an exceptional job. The food was fantastic, the on the day coordinator was fantastic (thank you Becca). Everything went smoothly and the grounds were breath taking. Askham Hall has so many areas both under cover and outdoors which made the possibility of rain of no consequence. It is a fantastic place with a fantastic team. -

Perfection
Can not fault anything about the venue or staff, the whole weekend was perfect from start to finish. Food was amazing with a great choice for gluten free husband, and drinks were constantly flowing. The option of the bbq the night before was a perfect start to the rest of the weekend, and we were admittedly so lucky that the sun shone for us the whole time! Jenny was a star and was always available to help my queries on the lead up, and on the weekend was constantly popping up with reassurance and updates. I had no reason to stress as the whole flow of the day was flawless. Can’t wait to come back on our anniversary, and would recommend the venue to anybody. Loads of nearby accommodation for our guests and perfect venue for having our nearest and dearest with us.Askham Hall's reply:

Home from home
I really couldn’t recommend this venue any more. From the staff, to the surroundings to being made to feel like home. Full of character & picturesque views. Whatever you want from a wedding this place can offer it all. I wish I could go back and do the weekend all over again!Askham Hall's reply:
