Moor Hall Hotel & Spa is a 4* country house hotel in Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham. This family-owned hotel offers all you could need for a truly unforgettable wedding day.

Capacity

Moor Hall can cater for up to 180 day times guests and 250 evening guests in the main Charter Suite. The hotel also has a number of elegant rooms for smaller celebrations.

Civil Ceremonies

The Charter Suite is a stunning room licenced for civil ceremonies for up to 180 guests. You can also experience a magical fairy tale setting outside in the historic Sunken Garden at Moor Hall which is licenced for up to 150 guests. This stunning setting is the perfect choice for anyone looking for an outside ceremony. Seating is set up around the fountain and you say “I Do” in front of the stone archway. Afterwards there are beautiful backdrops for photos including the lawns, the woodlands and the Sunken Garden.

Wedding Packages

Choose a full day wedding reception or an evening only reception at Moor Hall. The hotel’s flexible packages include everything you need and you can add on and upgrade, or not, depending on what’s important to you. Full day packages start at £142 per adult in 2024 and £158 per adult in 2025. Evening only packages start at £3,000 total for 50 guests in 2024 and £3,600 in 2025.

Accommodation

Your guests can stay at specially reduced rates the night after your wedding. Moor Hall has 83 bedrooms including family rooms, four posters, rooms with hot tubs and suites. Brides love the Getting Ready Suite which includes a four poster bed, sofa bed and huge dressing tables and mirrors so everyone can get ready on the morning of the wedding in comfort. There’s a connecting twin room too so the whole bridal party can enjoy the night before the wedding together. Guests staying at the hotel have access to the Moor Hall’s pool, sauna, steam room and spa bath and with a luxury spa on site, you can add on facial and body treatments to your stay.

Just perfect

We love everything about this place, the gardens, the Charter suite, the food and the rooms. It has its own swimming pool and spa facilities everything about this place speaks volumes.. If your looking for a venue that has it all try Moor Hall!

Fàntastic venue and staff!!

My experience with Moor Hall Hotel & Spa was second to none. The hotel and its grounds are amazing and the staff were the icing on the cake. From start to finish this was the best experience of our lives resulting in the best day of our lives "Our Wedding Day". I would recommend this venue to anyone without hesitation.

I had my wedding reception at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa. The venue was absolutely amazing. The staff on the day where absolutely brilliant, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The Charter Suite looked stunning. We had many compliments regards the room and food. I would recommend this venue to anyone, you will not be disappointed. I had one of the best days of my life at this venue.

...the whole atmosphere was just perfect.

In January 2017 we attended a wedding fayre at Moor Hall Hotel and I cried because I knew it was where we had to get married. The charter suite, the rooms, the grounds, the whole atmosphere was just perfect. We finally had our wedding day in September 2019 and we cannot put in to words how grateful we are for all of the staff at the hotel, they couldn't do enough for us, not only on the day but also during the build up to the day. If anything did go wrong on the day we did not find out about it, it was a relief that the staff were all so on the ball! We absolutely loved our day and wished we could do it all over again, we really wouldn't have changed a thing. Our family arranged an ice cream van as a suprise for us and the hotel also helped accommodate this and keep it secret from us!
Thank you to all at Moor Hall for putting up with us. We will definitely be back soon and for our anniversary.

We had the most magical day of our lives

We had the most magical day of our lives and we have memories to last a life time. When I say it was our dream fairytale wedding day I really really mean it. Thank You for everything that you did and also to Jo towards the end you made sure everything about our day was just perfect! Everything was so well organised, the food was outstanding, the staff were brilliant who were looking after us we just couldn't fault a single thing!

Perfection!

We held our wedding at Moor Hall in December 2018. From the start to finish our stay and wedding were perfect. Firstly nothing was too much trouble, the staff - in particular Joanne and Jamie were amazing, guiding us through the day and checking we were happy and had what we wanted. The room was beautiful and the wedding breakfast outstanding. We could not have asked for a better day or more helpful staff. We highly recommend Moor Hall as a wedding venue. PERFECTION!

Thank you so much, would highly recommend.

We booked Moor Hall for our wedding and the service we received from the initial meeting, menu tasting, subsequent meetings was fabulous, Sam Davies the coordinator was excellent. On the day the hotel did an amazing job and the master of ceremonies, Jamie went above and beyond to enjoy sure everything ran smoothly. I cant speak highly enough of the staff and venue as it made our special day perfect. Thank you so much, would highly recommend.

Amazing Day, thank you!

Well... what can I say!! We had our wedding day here yesterday and it was the most amazing day we could of ever wished for. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Dean our toastmaster was incredible and we can't believe this is only the 2nd wedding you have looked after, your a natural. The ceremony went completely to plan and we are so happy that we chose to get married here. We will definitely be coming back... probably for our 1 year anniversary. And a huge thank you to Zoe Willis the wedding co-ordinator, we wish you could of seen how fantastic it all went. Lots of love Mr and Mrs Williams xxx

A very belated huge thank you to you

I just wanted to say a very belated huge thank you to you, Jamie and everyone at Moor Hall for making our wedding reception amazing on Sat 17th June.

It was baking hot, we were running late, photos etc, and the team there were flexible and helpful throughout. I was told the kitchen was sweltering so I've no idea how they managed to make such delicious food! The food was amazing!

Your staff were really friendly, one of the waiters even took my brother in law's dinner to him in his room because he had to take his child back to their room during the wedding breakfast.

Even at breakfast the next day your staff dealt with all of our guests who happened to want breakfast at the same time, and even squeezed me and Tom in to the main room even though it was full.

Our bridal suite was so lovely and we are hoping to return one day for an anniversary.

You were so helpful in the lead up to it and I'm so glad we picked Moor Hall. It's such a lovely venue and we had an amazing wedding day.

Fantastic!

We got married here last week- the staff are fantastic and so helpful and the hotel itself created the perfect setting for our dream wedding. We are so happy that we chose to have Moor Hall as our wedding venue. Our guests response to the food was 'out of this world'. Also, we would like to acknowledge Lauren and Jamie who did an incredible job, both in the planning of our day and on the day itself. We look forward to visiting you again!

Magical for me and my husband.

My wedding took place in Moor Hall Hotel last April and I must say that they have done an impressive job in making a stunning reception for the occasion. They offered a big bridal suite and the facilities were perfect for photos. The food were served timely and tasted very good. Everything went as I wanted them to be and all the staff were helpful and friendly. I would like to commend Mr. Jamie Hall in his outstanding job in coordinating and being helpful to make the moment magical for me and my husband.

I recommend Moor Hall!

My husband and I recently held our wedding day at Moor Hall and I can honestly say that all the staff, the venue and food were wonderful. When we first went to view the venue and the rooms, we were really impressed by the wedding packages and the staff and throughout the planning process, Joanne, the Events Coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly and was on hand to answer my (many and sometimes daily) questions! The team made the actual wedding day even more special, decorating the room beautifully and providing delicious food. They were able to cater to our guests’ dietary requirements too, and were helpful and accommodating to small changes we needed to make along the way. Most brides get a little stressed out by the planning process, and I wanted to know that the day would go to plan, however, the team at Moor Hall put my mind at rest, and Jamie (The Master of Ceremonies) explained everything to us throughout, and made sure nothing was forgotten. All our guests had a fantastic time, and commented on how brilliant the venue was and how helpful the staff were. Many of our guests booked rooms for the night and stayed for breakfast, which was lovely. Overall I couldn’t recommend Moor Hall enough, and I want to thank everyone, Jamie and Jo especially, for everything they did to give us a beautiful wedding day.
