Where do we even begin? We had the most incredible wedding day and truly could not have asked for a more spectacular venue.

Kew Gardens is a place unlike any other. The breathtaking surroundings, iconic glasshouses and beautiful gardens created the most magical backdrop for our celebrations. It felt incredibly special and such a privilege to be able to host our wedding somewhere so unique.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and care shown by the entire team were outstanding. As the bride and groom, we felt completely relaxed throughout the day because everything was so expertly managed behind the scenes. We never had to worry about a single detail and were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment.

Our guests were looked after wonderfully, and the team did an amazing job of guiding everyone throughout the venue and ensuring the day flowed seamlessly. We hosted a full day of celebrations, including two ceremonies, and everything ran so smoothly from beginning to end.

The professionalism, warmth and attention to detail of the Kew team were exceptional. You helped make our wedding day more memorable than we ever could have imagined, and we will always be so grateful.

We cannot thank Sophie and the team at Kew Gardens enough for making our wedding day so amazing, we had the best day ever and have had so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the team looking after us. We booked our September 2026 wedding in May 2025 and the whole process from start to finish was made so easy and enjoyable by the team at Kew. We were able to make several visits to the venue and there was heaps of advice and guidance around organising the wedding itself and which suppliers knew the venue best. The venue is slightly on the pricier side but so so worth it, the grounds are incredible and the buildings are amazing! We highly recommend Kew Gardens as a wedding venue!

We were delighted to host our wedding at Kew Gardens - I’ve been visiting the Gardens since I was a child and it felt like an obvious choice, especially after we paid it a visit with the Kew Events team.

Everything about the Gardens made for a wonderful setting for our Indian nuptials. From the beautiful floral installations to the Henry Moore sculptures, we felt lucky to be able to celebrate our special day at Kew.

We felt extremely positive upon meeting Jess from the Kew Events team. Apart from being super organised and attentive, she was extremely understanding of our needs and we really felt like we had someone in our corner. Organizing a wedding and managing everybody’s thoughts and opinions can feel overwhelming, but Jess helped filter through the noise and always put us first. Her ability to work smoothly with all our suppliers made our lives very easy and we felt calm knowing she had a great handle on our celebrations.

On the day, the team were extremely organised and, again, we felt truly looked after. They were there to support our us, our families and our guests with any issues they may have faced to ensure the day was as smooth as possible for everybody. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a better day. Thank you to Jess Owlett and the wider team at Kew Gardens!

Kew was the perfect place for our wedding! The setting is stunning and the team you work with is 10/10. Everything ran super smoothly and felt very professional. The trusted list of vendors means a key source of stress of research and vetting is done for you but you can still tailor your day with whatever feels most you. We’d recommend Kew to anyone!

Having our wedding at Kew Gardens was incredibly special. We both love the outdoors, so being able to have a garden wedding in such a beautiful and iconic setting felt completely perfect for us.

One of the things we loved most was being able to use multiple spaces throughout the day — the Nash Conservatory, Princess of Wales Conservatory and the Orangery — which made each part of the celebration feel unique while still flowing beautifully together. We were also so fortunate with the weather, which made the gardens feel even more magical.

Bethan was wonderful throughout the entire process — thoughtful, professional, responsive and incredibly helpful with all the planning and logistics. She made us feel completely looked after and helped bring everything together so seamlessly.

Our guests were blown away by the setting, and we feel so blessed that Kew Gardens will forever be part of our wedding memories. We would recommend both Kew wholeheartedly.

Kew Gardens was the most magical place to get married, and all the logistics were so well coordinated! We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding day and I couldn’t imagine a better place to get married.

We had a small wedding with 24 guests, outside in the gardens of Cambridge cottage. Since we had a small wedding, we organized everything ourselves, but having Kew as the location made it easier! We were assigned an event coordinator, Lydia, who was there from our initial tour of the venue through our wedding day. She was lovely to work with, and was patient with us as we decided all the details for our wedding day. Once we had chosen our vendors, she coordinated day of logistics with them including set up and take down, so on our wedding day we didn’t have to worry about any of these details. We also had a pre-wedding meeting six weeks before the wedding which was helpful to see the venue again and finalize all the details.

The venue itself is beautiful. We had the ceremony outside in the garden, but it’s nice to have the rain plan of the building as well. The venue is private and near a quiet part of the gardens so we didn’t have people peering into the wedding even though the gardens were open.

One of the biggest benefits is the couples photos opportunities. Couples are able to choose three locations around the gardens to take photos and Kew will bring you around to each in a golf cart. Peter escorted us in the golf cart to take photos near the lake, in the temperate house, and the redwood forest. He even let us stop at a few additional locations on the way to get some extra shots in featuring the Henry Moore statues that were on display at the time.

Finally, it’s wonderful to have your wedding at Kew to support the mission of the gardens. The price of the venue itself is quite reasonable, but it’s also nice to know the money is going towards a cause rather than a hotel or commercial venue. We feel so lucky to have gotten married at Kew Gardens and wouldn’t have changed anything about the day!

From the very beginning when we organised the viewing, the staff at Kew have been nothing but professional. Their wedding experience shows from day one. The venue itself is stunning, we decided to go with Cambridge Cottage as we wanted a more intimate wedding, but, you also get the Orchid room which was perfect for dinner. Every vendor who works with Kew is equally amazing, and they helped bring our 'English summer garden' wedding to life. We can't thank the team at Kew enough.

We had our August wedding at Kew, using the Nash Conservatory, Princess of Wales Conservatory and Orangery for around 150 guests. The venue was beautiful and provided a lovely setting for our wedding.

Our event manager, Jess, was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially with planning the timings of the day. The suppliers from Kew’s recommended list were also excellent and very professional.

Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Kew for a wedding.

A special thank you to our coordinator, Bethan, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was always so friendly and smiley, incredibly organised throughout the planning process, and made us feel completely looked after on the day. Her attention to detail and support gave us great peace of mind and allowed us to simply enjoy our wedding.

We also had a great experience with the Kew-approved suppliers. Everyone was friendly, professional and very cooperative, and the fact that the suppliers regularly work with Kew Gardens and know the venue well made a big difference to the logistics and coordination on the day. It made many of the practical details feel much easier and more seamless.

One piece of advice for future couples would be to speak with their approvee suppliers early in the planning process and get a clear understanding of the different tailorable options and costs available. This helped us plan ahead.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and are so grateful to the Kew Gardens team, especially Bethan, for helping make our wedding day so special.

We got married at Cambridge Cottage in August 2026, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or team to work with. Samir and the Kew events team were absolute superstars - incredibly attentive, calm, and structured throughout the whole planning process and on the day itself. He handled a nervous brides multiple calls very well!

A few practical tips for couples considering Kew:
1) Building & Climate:
As a historic listed building in a beautiful location, there are sound limitations (which wasn't an issue for us at all) and no air conditioning. On hot summer days, the dance floor can definitely warm up, but we loved every second of it regardless!

2) Suppliers & Budgeting:
The initial venue hire is fantastic value (particularly midweek). However, keep in mind that overall costs can rise quickly since you choose from their approved supplier list. Don't let that deter you, the approved suppliers know the venue and staff inside out, which makes coordination effortless on the day, but it’s helpful to factor this into your initial budgeting.

In conclusion the setting was stunning, our guests had the best time, and knowing our wedding helped support Kew’s conservation work made it even more special. We cannot recommend Samir and the Cambridge Cottage team enough!

I had my elopement wedding at kew gardens (Cambridge Cottage) on July 15th. It was everything we had hoped for and even more. Beautiful at every turn. Samir and the entire team are absolutely wonderful and professional. I only wish I could get married again, just so I could have it at Kew gardens all over again. The location is perfect for any type of event.

Flexibility limited with listed building and being a botanical garden (so lots of rules), however that aside the team did all they could do make our day how we wanted it. Really helpful throughout the pandemic and wonderful in their support and commitment.

Our wedding day at Kew was truly magical - every member of staff went out of their way to make the day special for us and the venue is obviously unique! We have some wonderful memories. They were also very professional during the organisation, answering every question promptly and patiently. Kew's suppliers work with them like a well-oiled machine which takes a lot of stress out of the process. You'll need to factor in extra costs though, due to the way Kew works. If you're using the Orangery you'll need to pay extra for even the most basic lighting and a PA system, even if the DJ already has one - phone around for quotes before booking the venue (the ones we called were all around £2.5k). Kew's listed suppliers are top notch but obviously that comes at a price. Finally, Kew's strict rules means it's difficult to save money in other ways, eg. by doing your own table centres or using a local florist. You can reuse the flowers from one venue in another one though, which helps. Overall a fantastic experience but be prepared to pay more than you think at the outset!
