Some couples are opting for a Twilight Wedding which begins later in the day to capture the magic & romance of the end of the day. It is less formal and more party celebration than a traditional wedding.

Twilight weddings start a little later, guests arriving from 4pm – giving you more time to get ready with your wedding party and saving you ££.

Arrive at Houchins at 1pm and if you book the house you can both get ready in style in our two dressing rooms discretely separated so there’s no peeking before your arrival down the aisle!

Enjoy your ceremony in our beautiful wedding marquee at 5pm followed by a drinks reception in the glorious wedding garden.

As you’ve started later in the day there’s no need for a formal sit-down meal (although you can of course have one if you would like to) so you can offer simple evening food from one of our approved caterers for more of a festival vibe.

Twilight weddings are available throughout the summer, from May – end September, Sunday through Wednesday. And with 15% off the venue price ‘Twilights are a great way to celebrate your marriage both informally and cost-effectively. The minimum number of guests is 80.

*Not valid with any other offer. The Twilight Wedding is only available Sunday – Wednesday May – end September. We ask that you purchase a minimum of 1 drink per guest immediately after the ceremony. We offer various drinks packages to suit your needs. Catering must be provided by one of our approved caterers.
