Holiday Inn Newcastle - Gosforth Park accommodates up to 300 guests for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, and receptions. A range of versatile suites are available, seating between 40 and 300 guests. Whether your style is classically elegant or boldly modern, the dedicated team will transform your space into the romantic setting of your dreams. The Cheviot Suite and the Ridley Suite boast their own bars and dance floors. The Cheviot Suite also has a lovely foyer area. From intimate celebrations to large-scale festivities, this adaptable venue has something for every style of event.
The Ridley Suite is currently undergoing refurbishmet and will be ready late 2025. The new suite boasts elegant interiors and a beautiful terrace just for your guests, be one of the first to get married in our stunning new premium wedding suite.

Each couple has the chance to work with a dedicated wedding coordinator who can guide them through the planning process. From musical choices to flower arrangements, the professional and personable team is on hand to help with every element of the day. A Master of Ceremonies can make the necessary announcements, and to-be-weds can enjoy a musical backdrop of elegant harp, classical, or jazz music. Couples can dance the night away to their choice of band or DJ and catch up with loved ones in the cosy bar and restaurant.

The perfect wedding venue

People always say i can recommend somewhere, well I can honestly say that I would recommend the Ridley suite at the Holiday Inn. The room is absolutely beautiful, the Master of Ceremony (Jake) is the best you'll ever have. Nothing was a bother for him, infact hes so laid back he's horizontal. He had the room set to perform not just for the wedding breakfast but also for the evening celebration without any glitches and any ammendments were met with speed and precision.
Hayle from reception was our sponsor for tge weekend and agin she is LUSH. The little details of how she remember some of my guests names and the amount of endless times I called and attended site with little questions and queries she was always there with her lovely smile.
John the big boss man. He is the type of man that won't just sit on the sidelines hes always mucking in abd again always thee to help.
We worked with Sarah from the wedding team. She has excellent knowledge, experience and the ability to get everything right 1st time of asking. She worked with us from start to end toarrange what was q beautiful wedding and I don't know if she will see this but I want to thank you for your support in making our day The Best x.
You don't have to take my words, but you will be saddened if you miss not booking this venue for your wedding day and night.
