My wedding reception at the Holiday Inn North – Norwich was 100% amazing. The events Manager Mel was absolutely brilliant I went to view the venue for our reception which I came across it online and from the start of meeting Mel she made my husband and I feel really welcomed we told her the budget we had in mind and instantly Mel worked out a plan with us. When I got home and I was so thrilled with the venue I emailed Mel and within that day we was put down for that date and she sent out a contract straightaway. From then Mel always kept me posted on everything to do with the day and if I had any changes or if I wasn’t happy with things Mel made the day feel so comfortable and I was not worried about a thing which every bride needs on the day. Before the day arrived guest started to book into the hotel and they were instantly greeted with such professional staff and politeness on the day of the wedding everything was beautiful the reception room we booked which was the Halifax suite was set out so perfect and we was served such wonderful food so filling and from the starter to the main was so fresh and tasted amazing dessert was wonderful. Overall I give the staff and the hotel 100% satisfied and Mel I love her so much cause she made mine and my husband day so special with no worries. Thank you so much I shall hopefully be seeing everyone soon I shall be booking any special event I have would be with the Holiday Inn North- Norwich. 100% Perfection.

Nothing was too much trouble in the run up to our wedding from the planning to the day itself everybody was so professional and helpful, Mel, Jacob and the team made our special day perfect. The whole day ran smoothly thanks to the hard work from every member of staff we couldn't fault a thing, We were impressed by the secret garden so we could have our lovely photos in, Even in December !! The decoration of the ceremony room and reception room was amazing we were so pleased, our guests keep commenting on what a wonderful wedding and venue it was, The biggest compliment we could give is that you provided us with the greatest day of our lives, it was better then we could have ever imagined !!, would highly recommend this venue.

From the moment we first met you Mel 18 months or so ago, up to the final goodbye when we left yesterday our experience has been nothing short of fantastic. All of our guests whether residents or just attending for the day have had nothing but praise for you all. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day exceed our dreams and expectations.

We had our wedding reception here on the 16th July. The service was brilliant right from the beginning of the booking through to appointments,menu tasting and the big day. A special thank you to Mel Benns for all the organising from start to finish, making the day special for us and perfect so we had nothing to worry about. Great food, good DJ and pretty chair covers. We were married at the Holiday Inn North (airport), Norwich on 1st May, and we felt we had to let you know how much we appreciate the efforts of all your staff who helped to make it such a happy, relaxed and memorable day. We met with Mel Benns (events organiser), over a period of a few months to plan the day, and she was a pleasure to work with, going to great lengths to ensure it was all how we wished it to be – from the ‘look’ of the two rooms, the timing of the day, the menu, and generally looking after us brilliantly. We thought it was a great idea to have a menu tasting lunch a few weeks beforehand, and were very impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. At our wedding the meal was lovely, coming well up to the standard of the ‘tasting’. Many of our guests commented on how good the food was, and how everything ran smoothly. The service was friendly, efficient, but unobtrusive, and staff were quick to offer help to any guests who needed it. Mel was there on the day, and ensured that everything ran as planned. Guests also remarked how friendly, helpful and proactive the reception staff were – quite a few of the guests were staying overnight, so we were able to enjoy a sociable breakfast with them. We would be grateful if all the staff concerned could be made aware of our appreciation of their efforts, and the very positive contribution they made to our special day.

The wedding was amazing, and everything went so well, we are so grateful for all of the members of staff on our big day. The room looked amazing, food was plenty and your chef coped well with some very complicated dietary requirements. We are still receiving comments from friends and family about the food and how lovely the puddings were. The staff where also brilliant and there was so many people on hand to make the day perfect. We really appreciated the extra touches for example you popping up to see us on our Wedding morning reassuring us that everything was going well with the set up.Considering I can be very anxious I felt that our big day was in very good hands. Thank you so much, We would highly recommend the Holiday Inn to others.
