Outstanding and exceptional value for money
We had our wedding here in March 2024 and from our first viewing with Valerie in November 2023 whom was so lovely and answered all our questions we knew we’d found our place .
The venue is so much better than the pictures. Honestly go and visit if you are thinking of getting married!
Our wedding coordinator Charis was just amazing from start to finish . Nothing was a problem and always so professional . Madeline whom assisted throughout the day was on hand for last minute questions/queries , always happy to help . And not forgetting Jordan the events manager whom was there to the bitter end . He was amazing, caring and professional .
Paul the pianist was absolutely fabulous, our guests loved the atmosphere he brought .
Paul the DJ , what can I say … what a fantastic playlist, I didn’t stop dancing and neither did our guest!
The chef , the food was amazing. Everyone commented on how lovely all the food was , how it was presented and plentiful. Well done to your kitchen staff!!!!
All remaining staff you were fabulous, the girls in the morning serving our breakfast, the bell boys , the waiters, and everyone behind the scenes honestly you have an amazing team and I hope you all know how much you make the place what it is !
They know what they are doing here and it shows!
We would do it all again tomorrow!

A venue that really cares, the staff are an absolute credit!
From the very start the staff at Friern Manor went above and beyond to make our day happen. We had an issue with a previous venue meaning we had to find a new venue just 4 months before. Friern did everything they could to make our original, already-planned wedding happen in their venue.
The planning process was great - everytime I had even the smallest question they were there to help. Even if I was getting annoying, they never made me feel that way!
The Wedding day was faultless. Everything ran smoothly and they were in constant communication with both of us to double check that we were happy. And we always were. In particular, the food was incredible. All of our guests commented on how delicious the wedding breakfast was, and the evening buffet. All in all, it was just the most perfect day.
All of the staff are a credit to the establishment, however I would like to mention a few people by name who made a particularly lasting impression. Valerie, who performed our very first show round and sold the place to us with ease. Sarah, thee most helpful person who put my mind at ease throughout the planning process. Tracy, who handled our initial enquiry with care and compassion. And Jordan (I'm hoping ive got his name right but my apologies if I've forgotten), the lovely man who was in charge of running our wedding breakfast and reception. He was incredible.

Outstanding Venue
I got married at this hotel last month. Honestly it was amazing!! From the minute we saw the venue we knew we wanted to get married here. In the run up to the wedding, the communication was great. The food tasting event was such a brilliant idea and helped us pick our food for the wedding.
On the day of the wedding as soon as myself and the bridesmaids arrived the staff rushed out to greet us and carry our bags and were on hand the whole time if we needed anything. All my guests said the food was absolutely amazing. We had the Twilight package which included a buffet but we added a burger cart, Thai food cart and ice cream cart so there was so much choice. My guests also commented on how lovely the venue was. The best thing for me personally was the staff, nothing was too much trouble. There was a lovely gentleman who met us on arrival carried our bags, he was then on the burger cart ans served us breakfast the next morning. Don't know his name but he is very good at his job.
The only regret I have is that I didn't try half the food as I was too caught up in the buzz of the day and I wish I had got to try it all.
All in all best day of my life and definitely choose this venue for a wedding, you won't be disappointed.

Even after a very long day and night with the full English breakfast i cannot fault that GREAT VENUE great staff and Management thank you for a lovely day.

Amazing from start to finish, all we hoped for and more!
The grounds are beautiful, it still feels like a dream to us ☺️
A Must if considering an alternative style wedding
Then as an alternative to a sit-down meal we were served finger food by the very smart staff in their posh uniforms it resembled a exclusive cruise liner and later as the evening started what I can only explain was a BBQ to die for – not the usual, very tasteful with old fashioned carts serving tasty salads and even a smart ice-cream cart
As the evening set in all the grounds lit up and then the garden courtyard covered by this clear roof which disappears into the sunset was magical large fountain pots and tropical plants and it was warm even though the evening was chilly the staff again were so helpful, and they served miniature fish & Chips wrapped up in Financial Times, so charming.
My husband also could not stop talking about the bar, not only did it have an incredible selection of drinks more than I have ever seen the service was again good and very nice glasses I even got glass twiddle stick with my Vodka & Tonic just such a nice change
We had a very enjoyable time probably the most impressive wedding we have ever been too and was just a nice change to see something so well organised – just a final wow was the white grand piano in the courtyard area the pianist was great and really set of the day before the disco started, made it feel like a refined wedding
