Our dreamy, fairytale wedding venue! Dodmoor House is simply magical, it was absolutely perfect and exactly what we wanted for our big day… in fact better than we ever imagined!
The venue itself is stunning and we were so lucky to have booked our wedding for just after the makeovers were all complete so we had gorgeous spaces to get ready, a fresh bedroom and bathroom and a revamped bar!
On the day itself we had a long morning of makeovers and had a wonderful time getting ready in the gorgeous Dodford Room and new Farmhouse Suite. We had everything we needed and it felt so special to get ready in such a beautiful space. My favourite part was sitting having my makeup done looking out of the Farmhouse Suite window, down the driveway on a sunny spring morning.
The venue suited our wedding size and our tastes perfectly - we had about 50 guests in total. The sun was shining all day and it just made the venue feel so special and homely, we just loved every second!! The courtyard is the perfect location for mingling, drinks and nibbles… and we’d definitely recommend booking a magician for the drinks reception!
Chloe was our wedding coordinator and we enjoyed every second of wedding planning with her! She listened to every idea and made sure everything we wanted was possible. On the day Chloe was like a superhero, she made sure everything ran smoothly and anything we needed she was there to help. Everyone from Dodmoor who worked on the day were so helpful and friendly, it made such a difference and guests have relayed how impressed they were with everything. Down to the smallest detail, like printing our speeches for us and even fixing Ben’s glasses on the day itself, Chloe was amazing!
The next morning we had the most delicious breakfast spread set up in the Dodford Room (this actually made me cry when it was delivered haha) and the team made sure we had everything safely packed up and taken to the bar before we left.
We felt confident and relaxed from the very start, we trusted Chloe and the Dodmoor team and they delivered on everything! They really looked after us and made us feel so special, so thank you!

Our wedding at Dodmoor House was everything we dreamed of and more. The entire day was perfect and there genuinely isn't a single thing we would change.
We were blessed with beautiful weather, which meant we could make the most of the whole venue and its gorgeous grounds. We held our ceremony outside, enjoyed our drinks reception on the lawn, and spent the evening celebrating in the courtyard. Each space felt special and gave every part of the day its own wonderful atmosphere.
The whole Dodmoor House team went above and beyond throughout the planning process and on the day itself. Their care, support and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease and allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment. A very special thank you to Carolyn, our wedding coordinator, who was an absolute joy to work with and made us feel that nothing was ever too much trouble.
Dodmoor House was the perfect setting for our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful or memorable day. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking for an intimate, and truly special wedding venue.Dodmoor House's reply:

We are incredibly impressed with our experience at Dodmoor and cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the communication was absolutely incredible. Emails were answered so quickly, and we always felt that every little detail was listened to and taken care of.
Dodmoor itself is absolutely stunning and provided the most beautiful setting for our wedding day. Every detail was so lovely, and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate such a special day.
The team were incredibly informative, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to make our day as special as possible. Nothing ever felt like too much, and their genuine excitement and enthusiasm for us and our wedding made the whole experience feel so personal and special.
We felt completely supported from the very start, which meant that when our wedding day finally arrived, we could genuinely relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. Knowing everything was in such safe hands gave us complete peace of mind.
We honestly cannot thank the whole team enough for everything they did to make our wedding day so perfect. We are incredibly grateful and will always look back on our experience at Dodmoor with so much happiness! -

Wow! Where to even start with Dodmoor. I cannot recommend this wedding venue enough! From the moment we stepped foot to view this place we felt so at ease and comfortable. The staff at Dodmoor are amazing - from the start to the end of our wedding process they were on hand to answer questions, emails, offer advice, help sort out suppliers - literally whatever we needed. Nothing was ever too much for them and no matter what time I sent an email they always replied super quickly and with so much detail to ease my mind. Dodmoor really think of everything and have such an organised team to make sure your wedding runs smoothly, the detailed wedding plan and planning meeting were especially helpful for a type A bride like me! On the actual wedding day, again they were incredible! Chloe in particular made us feel so at ease throughout the whole day and she really made our vision come to life perfectly! She kept us updated throughout the day and it all ran like clockwork thanks to her and the team - we could not be more thankful for everything! I highly recommend Dodmoor as the most perfect wedding venue with the most amazing setting, gorgeous barns and brilliant atmosphere.

From the moment we first visited until the last guest left on our wedding day, Dodmoor exceeded every expectation we had.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but the team (especially Carolyn) made the entire experience feel effortless. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care (and excitement!) shone through at every stage. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she consistently went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life - often suggesting things, and checking in before we had even considered things.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning; we'd visited 3 times, but all outside of the summer months, so to see it in full bloom on the day was incredible. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was and how smoothly everything ran. Every space was impeccably presented, and it truly felt magical. Guests described the venue as a 'hidden gem'.
What made the biggest difference, however, was the people. The team treated us like more than just another booking. They were supportive, responsive, and invested in making our day unforgettable. Thanks to them, we were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in safe hands. The way Carolyn handled all of our suppliers took away the admin burden - and all suppliers commented on how fantastic the communication was.
The drinks package was a massive hit - the fact that our guests could drink exactly what they wanted, there wasn't any queues and it was free (for them!) really made a difference. Again, the service was impeccable, with lots of our guests stating they never had an empty glass!!
Our wedding day was more perfect than we could ever have imagined, and we are so grateful to everyone involved. If you're looking for a venue that combines breathtaking surroundings with exceptional service, we couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Every bride dreams of the 'perfect day' - but honestly, ours was everything and more.

Dodmoor House was honestly one of the best choices we made for our wedding. It was a stunning backdrop for our day and the whole team were so lovely, supportive and organised every step of the way.
The planning process felt so easy, and a huge thanks goes to our wonderful coordinator. The checklists and forms were simple but covered everything we needed. The venue were always prompt in responding to any emails, and we came away from our in-person planning meeting feeling confident that they had it all in hand. Our coordinator also handled all the supplier coordination which meant there was little to no stress in the lead up to the day.
We also really loved that Dodmoor has the borrow and hire range. It helped us make the venue feel really personal without having to buy and transport loads of extra decor
On the morning of the wedding, there was nothing for us to do as the team had it all under control, so it was a perfect relaxed morning.
Having access to the beautiful new farmhouse suite and renovated Dodford room for us to get ready with our bride/groom wedding parties was also really helpful.
The day went perfectly and the staff were all amazing! They somehow managed to flip rooms in minutes without us even noticing. And they were always ready to initiate plan B for when it looked like it might rain.
Another one of the big perks we took advantage of was the no corkage option, which meant we could put together our own personalised Gin Spritz bar which was a big hit!
We had a perfect day and it was a beautiful setting. A huge thank you to all of the staff at Dodmoor who really made you feel like they cared and made it even more special - we couldn’t recommend Dodmoor enough!Dodmoor House's reply:

We cannot speak highly enough of Dodmoor House—it was the absolute perfect setting for our wedding day!
From our very first meeting, the amazing wedding planner and exceptionally friendly, accommodating staff went above and beyond. They spent so much time with us to ensure every single detail was covered, making us feel completely supported and guaranteeing our day was truly special and memorable.
The team’s coordination is second to none. Dodmoor works hand-in-hand with their established, high-quality suppliers, making the preparation and catering on the day completely seamless and stress-free for us and our guests. Equally you can use whatever suppliers you need and Dodmoor will work seamlessly with them
The venue itself features beautiful rooms that allowed us to craft our perfect day to be chilled and intimate (or fun and lively!)
On top of all that, the picture opportunities are infinite. Our photographer was in heaven with the beautiful gardens, picturesque orchards, and the serene canal, especially with the wonderful evening lighting glowing across the grounds.

I can't recommend Dodmoor house enough!
From the amazing staff to the beautiful grounds, we can't fault anything.
Good value for money and excellent service, staff are very accommodating and so lovely, they answered every question we had and our guests had nothing but nice things to say about them too. All we had to worry about on the day was having a great time with our friends and family while they took care of everything and made sure it went to plan.

We got married at Dodmoor House in June 2026, and I honestly couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for our day.
From our very first visit, we fell in love with how beautifully decorated the venue was and how tucked away and intimate it felt. We knew we wanted a relaxed, informal wedding, and Dodmoor House gave us the flexibility to make the day truly our own, from the food and decorations to the guest numbers. Nothing ever felt too much to ask.
Our wedding coordinator, Chloe, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She made us feel so welcome from day one and always had time for my many questions and worries. No matter how small my concern seemed, she never made me feel like I was asking too much. Having someone so kind, patient, and organised made the whole planning process so enjoyable.
On the wedding day itself, the staff were simply amazing. Everything ran so smoothly, and they were constantly checking in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Their attention to detail meant we could completely relax and enjoy every moment. I genuinely couldn't fault them.
One thing that really stood out was how they handled the weather. It was 34°C on our wedding day, and the team had already contacted me the day before with a hot weather plan, making sure I was happy with it. It turned out to be the best decision. Our drinks reception made use of the beautiful shaded grass area, which perfectly suited the relaxed atmosphere we wanted while keeping everyone comfortable. It actually made the day even better than I had imagined, and I'm so grateful to the team for thinking ahead and looking after both us and our guests.
We also chose the Ruby drinks package, and it was such a hit! The rum punch was definitely the favourite cocktail, and so many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the drinks during the reception. I'd definitely recommend considering one of the drinks packages.
Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how seamlessly organised the whole day felt. That was entirely down to the incredible team at Dodmoor House, who brought every little detail we had envisioned to life.
