Getting Married at Croydon Hall

Come rain or shine, the hotel has beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces available for your ceremony. If it’s cold and wet, whatever the season, you can use the Drawing Room or Barn and on sunny, warm days, you could have your ceremony outside, in the beautifully landscaped Italian garden or on the terrace.

Civil Ceremonies can be conducted by a Registrar or Celebrant.

Hotel Accommodation

Accommodation includes stunning Bridal and Honeymoon suites, as well as 13 additional en suite bedrooms. With a mixture of double rooms, family rooms and apartments, there are options to suit everyone.

The hotel sleeps a maximum of 44 and there's additional accommodation locally, including Croydon House which is in the hotel grounds and sleeps up to 14 guests in seven bedrooms.

Packages

Creating bespoke packages is the venue’s forte, but it can be helpful to have a starting point, so they have a wedding package on their website to help get your conversation started.

It can be adapted, and numbers can be added to create a tailor-made experience. This package is based on a minimum of 50 adult guests, the number required for exclusive hire and is subject to all 15 bedrooms being booked by you or your guests for the night of your wedding. The Bridal / VIP Suite for the night before and the Honeymoon Suite for the night of your wedding are included in the package.

You’ll have a dedicated event planner leading up to your wedding and a Master of Ceremonies on the day to ensure that everything runs without a hitch.

Capacities

Ideal numbers for a wedding celebration at the hotel are 50 – 170 and will guarantee exclusive use of the hotel and grounds of this glorious venue near Minehead, Somerset.

You are very welcome to hire part of the hotel if your numbers are smaller, just tell the venue how many guests you’d like to invite, and they’ll match the space to your requirements, however you may not be guaranteed exclusive use.

The venue will also consider larger events as they have the space to set up additional structures and marquees.

Food and Drink

Choose your menu from the selectors for your big day and they will happily work with you to adapt the courses to ensure that every dietary requirement is taken care of. All food is homemade by their talented chefs where possible, so they can be flexible.

A non-alcoholic welcome drink and a glass of bubbly for the toasts are included in the package. Ask about drinks packages and pre-paid drinks cards.

Crockery, cutlery, tables, chairs and linen

The package includes crockery, cutlery, furniture, linen, tablecloths, napkins and table décor. The venue will discuss this with you in detail around six months before your wedding.

Wedding décor

Dressing tables is an art, it can be expensive and can be time consuming, so Croydon Hall has an expert on hand to arrange the table settings and décor for you.

With options to suit most colour schemes, they'll work with you to create the perfect stylish and elegant finish to your wedding breakfast.

Wedding Admin or ‘Wedmin’

The venue wants to make your wedding day as stress-free as possible, so you can relax and enjoy your celebrations along with your family and friends.

To help with your ‘Wedmin’ (wedding admin), they have automated systems for your guests to book their accommodation and make their menu choices.

Additional Services

The Master of Ceremonies will effortlessly guide your guests throughout, so you don’t have to worry about the flow of your special day.

If you have family and friends who can’t make it to your wedding, they can live stream your service to a private YouTube Channel.

Exclusive Hire

Exclusive hire of the hotel gives you access to all the hotel’s facilities which include the seasonally heated outdoor pool, spa, jacuzzi, infra-red stream room, sauna, gym and treatment room.
