Perfect for large weddings, The Gallery is a Victorian former mission hall offering a unique environment to hire with its dramatic vaulted ceiling and church-style windows which flood the space with natural light. You can conduct your ceremony in here and then enjoy drinks in the Garden and Restaurant areas. The Gallery can also be used for dining and dancing, allowing for complete flexibility across the whole venue.

After the ceremony, Crispin will take care of you and your guests. Crispin at Studio Voltaire is a 50-cover restaurant and counter bar from HAM Restaurants (Crispin, Bar Crispin, and Bistro Freddie), focusing on small and predominantly independent producers and growers. Crispin’s versatile range of services offers something for every occasion, from the simplest to the most generous event planning, encompassing any desired experience.

The flexibility of Studio Voltaire’s spaces means that how you celebrate can be as individual as you are. You are welcome to bring onto the site whatever entertainment you want to have on the day you dreamt of. We hold a premises licence which allows for the performance of live music and/or the playing of recorded music until 11 pm, but if you wish for your event to run later, this can be extended with the approval of a TENS license. We encourage dancing, and Crispin can provide late-night snacks to ensure stamina levels remain topped up. As we are located in a residential area, we are mindful of our neighbours and ask guests to remain inside from 9 pm with no music in the garden after this time.
