Whether you'd like to celebrate in the middle of the week or over the weekend, Craig y Nos Castle's Wedding offers a variety of romantic venues for your wedding ceremony and reception. If you desire a magical atmosphere, the banqueting room can make your dreams come true. The space features elegant architecture, a grand ceiling, and floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a natural ambience from day to night. Outdoors, you may take photographs with both botanical and regal backdrops. While you enjoy your photoshoot, your beloved guests may mingle in another venue, such as the Welcome Drinks Lounge or the Patti Bar.
Services Offered
Craig y Nos Castle's Wedding is here to help you have the happiest day of your life with a number of packages to choose from. The intimate package is designed for small celebrations of up to 25 people. If you're hoping to have up to 100 guests on your big day, the Ulimtate package is the one for you. This selection of services includes a three-course wedding breakfast, an evening buffet, rental equipment, decor, and much more. Wonderful Reception
We had a fabulous day of celebrations. All our suppliers were excellent, both in terms of the services their provided and the end results. Our cake was from Gail's Cake Pantry and Gail took care to check exactly what we wanted and when I saw the cake at the venue it was a perfect match with the image I had in my head. It also tasted better than any other cake I have had at other similar events.
We hired singers Prima Divas (from the Alive Network) to perform for our guests and it was thrilling to sit in the castle's theatre and listen to their fantastic performances. They were thoroughly professional and provided a unique and memorable event that added to the day's magic. Our photographer was Andrew L Price from Swansea who was a total delight throughout and took some wonderful photos, including many relaxed shots. His friendly manner kept us calm and was a lovely part of our day.
In the evening we had a folk/ceilidh band (Brand F) play for dancing and entertainment and they were not only great at calling the dances, but were also really talented folk musicians. A lot of our guests are musicians and were impressed by their playing. This all came together to make it the happiest and most joyous day of our lives.
It's important to note that the castle is very much a blank canvas venue. They provide the spaces, it's up to you to organise everything else. They don't have a Wedding Planner and their Functions and Events Manager only managed the basic administrative tasks for us (e.g. taking the booking, issuing the contract and invoices etc.). They keep costs low by employing fewer staff than I have ever seen at any other wedding and if you would like anything special at the venue you will need to organise it yourself or get a wedding planner to do it for you.
Excellent value for money and we had the best time of our lives!
