Big Penny Social creates experiences across beer, food, drink, and live events that bring people together and help community spirit come alive. We provide elevated experiences to the community we call home.
Our name is drawn from a local Copper Mill, which rolled the copper sheets to be turned into Walthamstow Penny coins back in the early 1800s.
With a total capacity of 2000, our enormous venue boasts the UK’s largest Beer Hall, a hugely versatile event space, and one of the largest beer gardens in London. Big Penny Social is just a few minutes from Blackhorse Road Station (Victoria Line + Overground).
A warm welcome awaits everyone (and their dog!) to enjoy great beer, delicious food, and time spent together.
