Beaconsfield Gallery is a unique wedding venue in Central London. This lovely site is flexible and can be decorated to suit any type of wedding and theme. A historic location, the Beaconsfield Gallery site was once Lambeth Ragged Schools and is now transformed into an impressive art space. With its raw, urban Victorian railway arch aesthetic and fantastic height and volume, this venue would be a memorable spot for your wedding celebrations.

Facilities and Capacity

The spectacular Upper Gallery, perfect for large wedding parties, is awash with natural sunlight and protected by seven-metre walls with tall arched windows. It features preserved original raked wooden floors and can easily accommodate up to 100 seated and 150 standing guests. The Lower Gallery is suitable for both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations. It is surrounded by white walls, with distinctive cast iron pillars and Crittall windows. Complete with exposed brick walls, high ceilings and concrete floors, the Arch Space is also available for weddings and can be accessed through the yard. This impressive room seats 300 guests and can have 400 standing. Both galleries and the Arch Space can accommodate sit-down occasions, standing, and dancing. Outside, a beautiful, award-winning garden is available for use when you book any of the galleries. Here, you can set up a marquee for catering or allow guests to mingle and relax beneath the beaming sun.

The Beaconsfield Gallery team would be honoured to help bring your vision to life. They offer a selection of entertainment options, such as a dance floor so you can dance the night away with the people you love. The venue is pet-friendly and allows private catering companies to come in and cook up the wedding feast of your dreams.

Standard Hire Rates

The Arch Space – from £300 +VAT per hour
The Upper Space – from £275 +VAT per hour
The Lower Space – from £200 +VAT per hour
Whole Gallery – from £375 +VAT per hour

Rates are set at a minimum of four hours (half day) and must include adequate time for set up and clear out. Beaconsfield is not able to store items prior to or following your event, so please allow for deliveries and collection within the period of your hire booking.

Hire rates may vary depending on the day of the week, the season (eg. Christmas), and the scale and type of event. These rates are for dry hire of the space and exclude any catering costs. A corkage fee will be applied for alcohol use. Please contact us for more details.
