Brympton House is a multi-award-winning Country House Weddings and Events venue located in the rolling hills of Yeovil, Somerset, England. With fast train links to London, this Grade 1 listed stately home dating from 1350 is set within a historic Grade 2* listed parkland. Run by a family team and consistently rated 5 stars, Brympton House provides a magical historic setting for your celebration.

Facilities and Capacity

A historic house built to entertain and impress the guests of the Earls of Westmoreland, Brympton House has always loved a party! During the last 15 years, it has been entirely refurbished for weddings and events with a variety of historic spaces to dine and dance in, as well as a 14th-century Church within the estate grounds; 2 historic structures for civil ceremonies, a state of the art party pad with a choice of 2 dancefloors, 31 beautiful bedrooms and separate suites to get ready and be pampered in. Dining capacities range from 60 guests in the State Dining room to 120 in the Saloon to 228 in the magnificent Ballroom.

Absolutely Brilliant

We can’t wait to get married at Brympton House next year. We were really keen not to have a ‘traditional’ wedding and Ellie has been great at explaining all the different options to us and making some great suggestions on what we could do. We have now created a bespoke and exciting day that we cannot wait to share with our guests.

Brympton is a beautiful Manor House with lots of options. There are so many different spaces in Brympton you can use and we particularly fell in love with the lake, the various gardens and the lawn. We loved the outside areas so much we are going to have a lot of our wedding outside. Nothing is too much for the staff and they have gone out of their way to make sure we are happy.

Nat from the Bacchus team has helped us to create a really exciting selection of drinks for our entire day. We are a little fussy regarding drinks, so his flexibility here has been great.

Bring on our wedding next year - we are unbelievably excited!

A true dream venue!
From start to finish a total delight, Everything is onsite and everything provided to clients from the point of booking with suppliers who know the venue inside out. All the hard work is already done! stunning grounds and a honeymoon suite that suits that brining in the most stunning natural light!

A wonderful venue

When we booked our event on a late availability basis, we were a bit apprehensive about the planning process. With so little time left before the big day, we were worried that it would be a daunting task. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how smooth and hassle-free the process turned out to be. The team in charge of the event planning made everything seem effortless, and we were able to get everything sorted out in no time. It was such a relief to know that we could rely on them to take care of everything, leaving us to focus on enjoying the day.

My wife & I attended a friends wedding at Brympton House, we had an amazing time from start to finish, the staff were very friendly & helpful & the house & grounds were beautiful & very well kept.
Loved it so much that we have booked here for our daughter’s wedding in 2025 & looking forward to another amazing day at Brympton House.

Perfect Day

We got married there last year and it was perfect. The House is absolutely stunning - we got married int he Winter and it felt so cosy wit the fires going in the different rooms, everyone has been telling us its the best wedding they have ever been to - I can't recommend it enough

5* wish we could do it again

We held our wedding at brympton house in Somerset in September. The venue is gorgeous. Everything went perfectly. The location along with the flexibility that the venue offers was what we were sold on. Daniella, our venue coordinator, was so helpful and attentive throughout. Jess and Ellie were also great to work with in the preparation. So happy we chose this venue for our wedding!

Unforgettable

Brympton House provided the perfect backdrop for my dream wedding. The venue's picturesque setting and charming country house atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience for myself, my guests, and especially for those who traveled from Brazil to the UK for the occasion.

The venue's accommodation options were convenient, and the recommended suppliers ensured that every detail was taken care of, from the decorations to the catering. The variety of spaces available allowed us to seamlessly transition between different parts of the celebration, and the weather was ideal, with enough internal space to accommodate any unexpected changes.

Overall, Brympton House exceeded my expectations and helped to create the most special day of my life. I am grateful for the memories we made there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding venue.
