La Fonte was not only the most beautiful wedding venue, but it truly felt like a second home in the hills of Umbria. This was largely thanks to Marco and Paola, the most amazing hosts. From the moment we met them during our venue visit to our stay with them throughout the wedding week, they were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. We were so lucky to have our wedding celebrations spread over three nights, and Marco and Paola were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, from recommending vendors to helping us arrange car rentals and transport for our guests.

The venue itself is nestled in the Umbrian hills, with stunning views across the valley below, particularly at sunset. Set across such a vast and beautiful area, there are so many options for where to hold the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, each offering its own incredible backdrop.

La Fonte also has a number of self-contained apartments, all beautifully decorated and perfectly suited to the setting. Marco and Paolo provided a variety of fresh produce in each apartment such as eggs, fruit and a delicious homemade cake which was a gorgeous personal touch. The private terraces were ideal for relaxing in the evenings with a few nibbles and a glass of wine, as well as providing the perfect backdrop for getting ready and taking photos before the ceremony.

Another thing that made La Fonte feel so special was the animals that are part of the property. From the friendly dogs and cats to the horses, there was always something lovely to see during our stay. We especially loved seeing Nerini the pony roaming around the grounds.

We had access to the saltwater pool throughout the entire weekend and loved hosting a barbecue there on the Sunday. It was the perfect way to relax, unwind and bring our wedding weekend to a close. The pool area was another wonderful space for all of our guests to enjoy during our stay and really added to the feeling of having our own little retreat in the Umbrian countryside.

I would highly recommend anyone to consider La Fonte as the venue for their special day and know that we will definitely be returning soon for a visit! ❤️

The Agriturismo is perfectly suited for our wedding, and allowed us to bring in caterers, a band, markets settings and even fireworks.
Marco and Paola were so kind, went out of their way to help us, and nothing was too much trouble.
