We recently hosted our wedding at Agriturismo Terre di San Galgano, and it was an absolute dream. From day one, the event managers, Nona and Niko, were incredibly helpful, professional, and deeply invested in the entire process. They offered invaluable advice and were always there to help execute a flawless event. The venue is simply magical—between the rustic Tuscan farmhouse and the breathtaking views, our guests were completely mind-blown. Paired with impeccable high-quality food and an outstanding staff, this is a 5/5 once-in-a-lifetime experience. We highly recommend them!

If you have reached out to venues and thought how on earth can I afford my dream Italian wedding on a regular budget Agritourismo San Galgano is the place for you!
there are so many things included that are just not included with other venues such as Nona and Nikos amazing planning skills, the fairy lights, gorgeous tables, napkins, glassware and cutlery. This really helps with the budget!
But even if budget isn’t your top priority, the absolute highlight is Nona and Nikos knowledge of international couples getting legally married in Italy. Also, there was no need for us to have a ceremony at home and then in Italy which was a huge selling point for us. They also keep your planning to a realistic timeline so will tell you when not to worry yet about small details but also when they will need to know by which helps with pre-wedding stress.
Also, the ability to have a 3 day event in one place really helps.
I couldn’t recommend the venue enough. It was perfect from start to finish, the venue was gorgeous but it was mainly down to Nona, Niko and all of the catering and serving staff also who couldn’t do enough for us and our guests!

Short story: it was better than we could ever have imagined. Many of the guests mentioned it was the best one they’ve ever been to. Beautiful location, amazing staff and you get so much more for your money compared to a wedding in the UK.

After we decided to go ahead with San Galgano, Niko and Nona were so organised and calm with their approach we felt confident too.
Going to the tasting session and staying at the venue was a great experience prior to the big day and we got to see what it was like to be a guest.

For the main event, we arrived on the Monday and chilled by the pool (a big win with the 60 guests, especially in the hot June weather) before a pizza party for everyone to get to know each other. The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. The courtyard was a beautiful location to do this event. We supplied our own music through their Bluetooth speaker and that was perfect.

The wedding day was a smooth event too. Bride and groom stayed in different rooms to not see each other before the ceremony, and with a little organising we both enjoyed the entire complex without bumping into each other.
Breakfast was a nice selection of cold and hot foods (we asked for bacon, eggs and sausages as an extra) and a great chance to catch up with guests. The room is lovely and cool.

We got married at 3pm. The Abbey is unreal! Such a stunning and romantic occasion. Depending on the time of day/year, some of your guests may be in the sun the entire time, so fans and parasols are a recommendation.

We had a violinist during the ceremony and the aperitif afterwards. The food, drinks and location round the side of the venue were brilliant.

Our plan was to eat and do the speeches in the courtyard, but the weather had other ideas. Just after setting it all up, the clouds moved in and it began to rain. Niko and the team moved it inside after a small delay, but kept us informed and none of the guests noticed.

All guests said it was the best food they’d had at a wedding. We had 3 courses and each were perfect with very little time between the top table receiving theirs and the other tables tucking in.

We hired the dance floor along with a DJ, music was loud cocktails were flowing and we had a great time until we closed up before midnight. We could have carried on, but it was probably the right call to stop then as some of the guests had an early start to get back - the team actually arranged breakfast bags for them too (many regretted booking the early flights back to the uk).

That is the only drawback to this venue. Many of the party flew into Pisa and hired a car and drove down. It’s a nice drive, but quite long. Some got a taxi and that was expensive even after phoning round for the best deals - so bear this in mind. The location of the venue is remote, but that’s why you get the lovely scenery.

I’d recommend this as a place to get married. We’re still buzzing from it and our guests photos and videos look stunning, so can’t wait for the professional ones to come back!

It is such great venue, supported by an amazing team of people who do so much behind the scenes but you never notice it as a guest - it’s like it just magically happens.

In the summer of 2023, we visited this beautiful venue to see if it would be the perfect place for our wedding in 2024. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome, and the team took the time to think along with us and explore all the possibilities.
Thanks to the incredible dedication of the venue manager and the entire staff, we had the most amazing weekend of our lives. Everything was perfectly organised, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment without a single worry. The communication was excellent, personal, and nothing was ever too much to ask.
We look back on our wedding with immense gratitude and warmth. It is a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and we wholeheartedly recommend this venue and its wonderful team.

We couldn't have hoped for anything better for our special day: Agriturismo & Casale San Galgano delivered on all fronts. The rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious enough to accomodate families and wedding party, the atmosphere was dreamy and the food and drinks impeccable. The venue offers a variety of spaces that help the day feel unique - from the lawn with the Abbey view for aperitivo and cake, to the swimming pool, to the Tuscan chic dinner area, everything was just perfect.

We hired the agriturismo exclusively for all of our guests over a three-day wedding weekend, as its location close to the Abbey and its beautiful Tuscan farmhouse charm made it the perfect setting. We also felt it offered incredible value for money considering the exceptional quality of the experience and the number of guests it accommodated.

From the moment we arrived, all of the rooms were immaculate, welcoming, and beautifully prepared. The grounds were equally stunning and allowed all of our guests to enjoy a smooth check-in followed by welcome drinks in the gardens.

We chose to host a pizza party on the first evening and, although the rain meant it could not be held outdoors, it did not take away from the atmosphere in the slightest. The rustic Italian table decorations were beautiful, and the authentic pizzas cooked in the traditional pizza oven were absolutely fantastic.

On the wedding day itself, the sun came out and many of our guests enjoyed relaxing by the pool during the morning. The pool area is exceptionally well maintained, and the fact that it was created from an old lake made it a truly unique and show-stopping feature of the property.

We chose to hold our ceremony at the Abbey, and Niko and Nona ensured that everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. They were incredibly professional, attentive, and organised throughout, which meant we did not need the additional expense of a wedding planner. They listened carefully to all of our requests, accepted deliveries on our behalf, and coordinated every vendor perfectly.

When we returned from the Abbey for the aperitif, everything had been set out beautifully for our guests to enjoy cocktails and canapés. The food was exceptional, and the live cooking stations added such a special touch to the overall experience.

The wedding meal itself was equally impressive. Every course was beautifully cooked and presented, and the waiting staff were outstanding — ensuring all of our guests were comfortable and always had everything they needed.

We also opted for the free bar in the evening, which was another highlight of the weekend. The bartenders were friendly, efficient, and helped create such a fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend. The setting, food, service, and attention to detail exceeded all of our expectations, and we are so grateful to the entire team for helping create such unforgettable memories for us and our guests.

The service of the standard wedding planning service was more than expected. Niko and Nona were extremly supportive. The owner of the location and also the location itselfs represents an authentic Tuscany flair. We would defenitely choose Agriturismo again for our wedding location.

The three day event was perfect, and accommodation and staff members were first class. We were beyong ecstatic with how it turned out, and our guests were blown away by it all. We are still on cloud nine two weeks later, and if we could give more than five stars we would.

Me and my wife got married at the abbey and spent 3 days celebrating with our friends and there was not a single thing we would have changed. From the start Nico and Nona were amazing. They were welcoming, helpful and warm and talked us through the whole wedding and celebrations.

They were able to provide a list of suppliers that regularly use the venue and gave us details on what we needed to do to make our ceremony legal. What ever we wanted; we asked and they overdelivered. We were able to proceed with everything, without a wedding planner because of how helpful and informative Nico and Nona were

When we arrived all the staff were friendly and helpful. They wanted our time to be amazing and you could really tell. All our guests commented on how great the service was and how beautiful the location is.

We could not recommend this place anymore than we are.

We got married at Agriturismo e Casale San Galgano on July 12th, 2025, and it truly felt like stepping into a postcard — the kind you never want to leave!
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the location: rolling hills, golden fields, that magical Tuscan sunset, and of course, the iconic Abbey of San Galgano just a few minutes away. It was everything we had dreamed of (and secretly pinned on Pinterest for years 😄).
A huge shoutout goes to the amazing San Galgano team — professional, super organized, and somehow always one step ahead of us. They made the whole planning process smooth and stress-free, and on the big day? Everything ran like clockwork. Honestly, they were the invisible heroes of our wedding!
The food? Out of this world. Think long tables under the stars, delicious local dishes, flowing wine, and the kind of atmosphere you only get at a true Tuscan countryside wedding. Pure magic.

Nico and Nonna were amazing from the very start even when we first enquired. The venue is absolutely stunning and you get incredible value for your money. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks package is also great. The views surround the Agriturismo are breath taking and I could not have imagined getting married any where else. Our Tuscan wedding was nothing short of amazing. From the start we felt at ease with Emma who was always very responsive to any questions we had and the timeline/deadlines were made clear to avoid any last minute stress. Emma was always very friendly and available to liaise between ourselves and the venue to ensure a smooth process and pieced together our perfect day.

Once in Italy we were met by our co-ordinator Serena who not only made us feel extremely calm, but executed our perfect wedding flawlessly. After running through the day beforehand and handing over anything we brought with us, we were able to have a completely stress-free day as everything was taken care of for us. The staff at Ionian were personable and seemed to genuinely care about your upcoming experience.

Memories were made with our closest family and friends in the most stunning venue that will last a lifetime.

We got married here in May 2025 and it honestly exceeded all our expectations and more. We had an intimate wedding of 45 guests and everyone stayed for the 3 day weekend. From the moment Niko responded to my first message he was so informative and responsive. Every response had so much detail and nothing asked was too much. The communication was one of the initial reasons we were so drawn to the venue, with being in the UK we knew we'd be reliant on clear emails etc. We had a quick visit to the venue in April 2024 and instantly knew we were in safe hands. Photos don't do this venue justice as we were blown away when we arrived for our wedding with the beauty in the sunshine. And the food!!! Everyone still raves about the amount of food that we had and how plentiful it was. From the pizza party to the wedding food and then the brunch buffet on the last day. Even down the the decor of the pizza party and the set up of the aperif stations - everything was perfect and even better than I expected! Thank you so much to Niko and all the staff at this venue.
