Agriturismo & Casale San Galgano is nestled in the Siena area, among the soft hills of Val di Merse. Wrapped in a charming, evocative and time-travelling environment, it hosts you on the most beautiful day of your life, allowing you to enjoy an unforgettable wedding celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
Agriturismo & Casale San Galgano consists of an old farmhouse with two farmhouses between which opens a charming courtyard and, for this reason, can accommodate your event at any time of the year.
During the fair weather months, you can take advantage of the lovely gardens, the extraordinary quiet and the incredible natural setting offered in each season. Painted first by the bright green of the trees, then by the warm yellow of the fields' wheat and sunflowers, this area is perfect to set up your outdoor banquet. Alternatively, it is possible to opt for the beautiful indoor spaces, consisting of a cosy restaurant hall that can accommodate 60 to 90 people and a bright and spacious Event Hall, which can accommodate 110 to 120 people, depending on the chosen set-up. These two rustic buildings are surrounded by the array of colours and scents typical of the Tuscan countryside, lending themselves as an excellent plan B in bad weather while still providing spacious and distinct areas for aperitifs, dinner and after dinner. The charming Hermitage of Montesiepi, only a few steps away from the farmhouse, is available for couples who marry through a religious rite. To celebrate a civil rite, you can use the Abbey, which is about 50 meters from the farmhouse, while for a symbolic rite you can enjoy the beautiful garden that, during this type of function, seems to have been made especially to be the background of your most beautiful day.

Everything was perfect :)
Perfect wedding at the perfect venue
They were able to provide a list of suppliers that regularly use the venue and gave us details on what we needed to do to make our ceremony legal. What ever we wanted; we asked and they overdelivered. We were able to proceed with everything, without a wedding planner because of how helpful and informative Nico and Nona were
When we arrived all the staff were friendly and helpful. They wanted our time to be amazing and you could really tell. All our guests commented on how great the service was and how beautiful the location is.
We could not recommend this place anymore than we are.

We got married at Agriturismo e Casale San Galgano on July 12th, 2025, and it truly felt like stepping into a postcard — the kind you never want to leave!
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the location: rolling hills, golden fields, that magical Tuscan sunset, and of course, the iconic Abbey of San Galgano just a few minutes away. It was everything we had dreamed of (and secretly pinned on Pinterest for years 😄).
A huge shoutout goes to the amazing San Galgano team — professional, super organized, and somehow always one step ahead of us. They made the whole planning process smooth and stress-free, and on the big day? Everything ran like clockwork. Honestly, they were the invisible heroes of our wedding!
The food? Out of this world. Think long tables under the stars, delicious local dishes, flowing wine, and the kind of atmosphere you only get at a true Tuscan countryside wedding. Pure magic.
One of our absolute favourite moments? The fireworks show over the Abbey of San Galgano during the cake cutting — romantic, breathtaking, and completely unforgettable. It felt like a movie scene… and we were the stars!

Tuscan Wedding
Once in Italy we were met by our co-ordinator Serena who not only made us feel extremely calm, but executed our perfect wedding flawlessly. After running through the day beforehand and handing over anything we brought with us, we were able to have a completely stress-free day as everything was taken care of for us. The staff at Ionian were personable and seemed to genuinely care about your upcoming experience.
Memories were made with our closest family and friends in the most stunning venue that will last a lifetime.

The wedding venue of dreams!
From the second we viewed this location, we were set. Surprisingly from how insane this Abbey is, it was really reasonable and within our budget! We did not expect this and came with low expectations to not fall in love, but when Niko talked us through the price we practically signed the dotted line and screamed there and then!
Niko also deserves a special shout out, and wanted to thank you for everything you have done to support us throughout the whole wedding, from supporting me planning every detail in the first 6 months 😂😂 to supporting with every little detail, making dreams become reality and supporting us to make things happen. You made us feel calm, relaxed, and it is clear your experience shines through making every nervous feeling disappear. Niko makes you feel relaxed and that no question is either too silly or a request too unreasonable.
The whole venue is a dream, our day was perfect, our pictures are beautiful, guests have loved every single second and we are on cloud 9 and so extremely happy.
All staff at San Galgano were kind, smiley, lovely and made us all feel so welcome like it was a second home. The huge bonus for us was the Abbey and hotel were side by side allowing us to have the whole area for all friends and family making the feel of one big family on holiday. On the final day everyone stayed at the pool side, playing games, music, drinks, it was quite literally a dream and not many people can provide a day like this for all guests.
If I could give 100 stars out of 100 I would, from one now married couple, to another engaged couple, view it, you won’t be let down and you certainly won’t be disappointed.

A Dreamy journey
A year ago, we were lost, holding onto a dream of a wedding after a trip to Tuscany. A dream that was made possible ONLY thanks to Niko.
Right from the first emails, we hit it off. His advice, his organization, he clearly did a remarkable job.
Niko recommended all of our vendors. We have a saying back home, “we just had to put our feet under the table,” because it felt like everything was taken care of.
And indeed, everything went off perfectly. The staff was outstanding, the meal was absolutely delicious, all set in a magical location.
We were so lucky to have someone like Niko on our side.

The venue is beautiful, with a large pool, a beautiful courtyard and an amazing view on the Abbey. The ceremony in the Abbey was just magical.

We started with a pizza party (welcome dinner), wedding reception at the second day and a BBQ party (farewell dinner).
We both worked for the event industry before, and can truly say the service they offer on site is absolutely unique! (10/10)
The Event Planning Team, especially Niko, the Cook Andrea as well as the chef of service lucano and especially the owner Angela, we don’t know how to thank them for our wedding. They are very professional, open minded for new ideas and even make own ideas better.
Eventhough we thought we have planned and know everything, we had unexpected surprises that made the experience even more perfect.
