Karen is the designer behind Dainty Bee Design, based in the North East of England, between Newcastle upon Tyne and County Durham. She creates bespoke wedding stationery for couples from save the dates and invitations to welcome signs, seating plans, menus and other 'On the day' items.

Karen began her career in print in 1998, gaining experience in artwork design, pre-press and project management. She has worked across large and small format print, creating artwork for major supermarket chains, gas and postal companies, small businesses, and projects ranging from cheques to billboards and bus displays. This practical experience helps her guide each design from initial idea through to print, with care and attention to detail.

Dainty Bee Design began in 2017 as a personalised pebble art business, which has since received more than 2,000 sales across Etsy, Amazon and her own website, all with 5 star postive reviews highlighting the attention to detail, helpfulness, and qulity of the service provided. Karen recently combined her print experience with her love of stationery to create wedding designs she tailors to each couple’s style and celebration. She creates every design herself using industry-standard design software she has worked with for many years. Printing is handled by trusted professional print suppliers to provide you with a high end and professional product.

When she’s away from her desk, Karen enjoys exploring the North East’s beaches and countryside, camping with her family, practising yoga and photography. The region’s character and scenery are a constant source of inspiration for her creative work.
