Alice did my (bride) hair, bridesmaids’ hair, mum’s hair and mother in law’s hair, for my wedding last September. She was absolutely brilliant. She made the experience relaxed and calm, while making sure she got everyone ready on time. Everyone had very different hair types and Alice wasn’t at all phased, she worked with everyone brilliantly, and we all felt beautiful. My trial with Alice before the wedding filled me with confidence and I couldn’t wait for the day to come. I’d recommend Alice to any bride, and only wish I had a reason for her to do my hair again.

I’ve been going to Melanotresses for 9 months now for my hair. I can honestly say I’ve never had anyone look after my natural hair better than her. She made sure my hair was healthy and maintained its length and coils. That’s is why I chose her to do my hair for my wedding day. I did not trust anyone else and she did not disappoint. She listened, she communicated and she made sure she brought my vision to life that I had for my hair. I mean you can see the picture there. Thank you thank you so much!

Lisa did my hair, four bridesmaids, two sisters and my Mum's hair the morning of our wedding but it felt so calm due to Lisa's expertise and speed - everyone looked so lovely and it was an absolute pleasure having Lisa there with us. Thank you Lisa, you were absolutely brilliant! x

Louise was amazing! She did the makeup for four of my bridesmaids and made everyone feel completely relaxed from start to finish. She really understood the assignment and took the time to listen to what each bridesmaid wanted. Some preferred full glam while others usually wear very little makeup, and she managed to tailor every look perfectly so they all felt comfortable, confident, and beautiful. She was warm, professional, and kept the morning stress free, which made such a difference. I would highly recommend Louise to anyone looking for a makeup artist who is both talented and attentive to individual needs.

From start to finish I’ve had a wonderful experience with Claire and her team. The trial to work out looks to the day itself, Claire and her team were lovely to work with, friendly, professional and absolutely focused making sure everyone had their best look. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to have Michelle to do the make up for myself and my bridal party for my wedding day back in July. Everyone’s make up was just perfect (and lasted all day!!).From my make up trial to my wedding day, I can’t fault Michelle. We unexpectedly had to change our wedding date and venue and Michelle really helped to ease the stress and anxiety during a really stressful time by being so flexible. From the moment that I met Michelle at my make up trial, she instantly made me feel at ease and I completely trusted her judgement. It was an early start on the morning of our wedding but Michelle arrived on time and really helped us to feel calm, knowing that we were in good hands! Michelle is so professional but so friendly, reliable. Everyone's make up was perfect and She really listened to what we all wanted and so many people commented on how beautiful our make up was on the day. Michelle stayed with me until the start of the wedding ceremony, meaning that she was able to touch up my make up just before walking down the aisle. She even helped out by helping to tie the bow on my daughters bridesmaid dress and laying the train of my dress out correctly which was above and beyond what she needed to do! Michelle, you made me feel amazing on my special day and I am eternally grateful 💖

I chose Paula to do my bridal and bridesmaid's makeup for my wedding last week at Newton Hall in Alnwick. As soon as we initially spoke I knew Paula would be perfect. Communication was prompt and informative which was perfect for me as I don't generally wear a lot of make up. On the day, Paula was fantastic. She was so friendly and warm and I trusted her implicitly. Her make up skills are fantastic and we all looked stunning! Our make up lasted all day and I genuinely felt beautiful. Paula listened to what each of us wanted and she definitely delivered. I had so many compliments about how I looked and I can't thank Paula enough for that. I would absolutely recommend Paula to any brides looking for a highly skilled make up artist who clearly has a wealth of knowledge whilst making you feel at ease and relaxed on such a special and nervous day!
