CorkNTalk offers relaxed, expert-led wine experiences designed to make weddings and celebrations even more memorable. Founded by Harry, who brings experience from both the hospitality industry and the wine trade, CorkNTalk focuses on helping people discover great wines in an informal, welcoming way — without the snobbery often associated with the wine world.
CorkNTalk is also a popular choice for hen parties and stag dos, offering fun, social wine tastings that make the perfect start to a celebration weekend. These relaxed sessions bring friends together over great wine while learning a little along the way.
Whether it’s a fun wine tasting for a hen party or stag do, guidance on selecting the perfect wines for the wedding day, or a bespoke tasting experience for guests during the celebrations, CorkNTalk brings a thoughtful and personal approach to every event. Harry works closely with couples to understand their tastes, their plans for the day, and the kind of atmosphere they want to create.
Each experience is tailored to suit the occasion — from lively, social tastings with friends to relaxed sessions exploring wines that will feature during the wedding itself. Couples are guided through carefully selected options, learning what works beautifully with their menu while discovering wines they’ll genuinely enjoy sharing with their guests.
To get things started, CorkNTalk offers a free initial consultation (up to 30 minutes), giving couples the chance to talk through their plans, preferences, and ideas before moving forward. Harry works with **all couples—LGBTQ+ included—**to create an experience that feels comfortable, personal, and genuinely enjoyable.
Based in Oswestry, North Shropshire, and working across the Welsh Marches and surrounding areas, CorkNTalk is known for making wine feel approachable, engaging and memorable — offering something genuinely different for weddings and celebrations.

Planning your wedding fizz? 🍾
Champagne is lovely, but it isn’t always the best-value option for weddings, especially when you’re pouring for a full guest list.
That’s why I’m hosting Champagne Alternatives Night at The Narrowboat Inn, Welsh Frankton on Friday 26th June.
You’ll taste five traditional-method sparkling wines, served blind, with one simple question in mind:
Can Champagne really justify its reputation, or are there better-value bottles out there?
It’s a relaxed, sociable CorkNTalk tasting with cheese, charcuterie and practical advice on what to buy, where to find it, and how to choose fizz that works for your budget, your guests and your day.
Perfect for engaged couples, wedding planners, or anyone sorting drinks for a celebration.

I’m the friendly face you’ll see at every tasting and the voice behind every recommendation. I built CorkNTalk on one simple belief: wine shouldn’t be intimidating. My aim is to make wine feel fun, welcoming, and completely free of the usual snobbery.
With a blend of proper wine knowledge, a relaxed approach, and a knack for telling a memorable story, I try to make even the more complex ideas easy to understand. Whether I’m pairing wines for a dinner party, guiding a public tasting, or helping someone discover “their” wine for the first time, I bring the same approach every time — approachable, passionate, and always authentic.
The way I view wine is that it's meant to be fun, not a final exam. Drink what you love, not what you're told.
