Sofia is the heart and soul of IWE, a passionate wedding planner with over a decade of experience and a deep love for creating unforgettable celebrations. With more than 200 weddings planned and nearly 900,000 photos captured, her journey began behind the camera as a wedding photographer, running a successful studio with her husband.
Over time, she discovered her talents extended beyond photography. Watching couples struggle with the overwhelming details of wedding planning, she saw an opportunity to step in and make a difference. Even with a planner, many couples felt lost, stressed, and in need of clear guidance. That’s where the vision for IWE was born.

Best decision we made for our wedding
She also saved us money by knowing the right suppliers and getting us great deals, which made her even more valuable. Honestly, we really couldn’t have done this ourselves. As the groom I wasn’t the main decision maker, but my wife can find decisions tough at times. Sofia was brilliant at giving advice and steering us in the right direction without ever taking over, and she made sure everything was decided and sorted when it needed to be.
The biggest thing for me is how relaxed we both were. So many couples say they didn’t enjoy their own wedding because of stress. Thanks to Sofia the lead up to the wedding was a breeze and we had the best day of our lives and didn’t have to lift a finger.
We spoke to some of the bigger planners before choosing her, but Sofia put them all to shame. She genuinely cared, gave us her full attention, and by the end she felt like a friend as well as our planner. Her services are very reasonably priced given the amount she puts in!
I never write reviews but I’ve made this account to do it because she really deserves it. If you’re on the fence about booking her, don’t be. We honestly would recommend her to anyone.
Couldn’t ask for a better wedding planner!!
From first hire where I was overwhelmed with choices and decision fatigue Sofia found us our venue and all our perfect vendors within a couple of weeks. She handled everything so seamlessly I never once worried about things being organised or any issues as I was confident they would be handled.
She was always there for us throughout the whole wedding journey any time, to offer advice or comfort.
We had a lot of hiccups getting to our day (UK side out of their control) and on the day, but Sofia made it so I could relax and she handled absolutely everything to make sure it was perfect.
I enjoyed my wedding day so much, never had to think about anything other than enjoying it as I knew Sofia had everything in hand.
Our wedding wouldn’t have happened without her, the services are worth every single penny.

Worth every penny
There are no words to express how fabulous Light and Dreams are!! We couldn’t recommend them more highly!
We had initially found the search for a photographer and videographer quite challenging as we knew exactly what we wanted but couldn’t quite find it. As soon as we found Light and Dreams the search was over!
We knew we wanted to use a local Italian based company so it was great to find Max and Sophia who were local to the venue but also spoke incredible English, which helped us to navigate the challenges of getting married in a different country. Not only were they amazing when it came to our film and photography planning but they also made sure we had everything else related to wedding sorted and offered lots of hints and tips and recommended things to consider - this was hugely helpful, especially as we didn’t have a wedding planner.
The photo and film style was exactly what we wanted - bright, colourful and capturing the emotion of the day perfectly. This combined with the fact they offered two photographers (to capture different angles) and the videography meant the package was perfect for us.
They made us feel at ease throughout the planning process and then they were incredible at the wedding too. Not only did they capture our day, our relationship and our friends and family so perfectly but they also helped to make sure the day ran smoothly. There were many occasions where Sophia stepped in to make sure things were going to plan and we are so grateful for that. They fit in with the wedding guests so seamlessly as well, everyone loved them and said how great they were. You spend more time with your photographers than anyone else in the day so this relationship is so important to have!
And of course most importantly we ABSOLUTELY LOVE the output. We cannot stop watching our wedding film and the photos are so amazing. All our friends and family love them too! Our one recommendation is not to try and save money on your videography and photography - it’s so important to be left with content you love and will treasure forever!
The whole process of working with Max and Sophia was so much fun - we have loved getting to know them and genuinely treasure their presence throughout our wedding journey and now in our lives 😃
