Charlotte worked tirelessly throughout the entire planning process, coordinating with numerous independent suppliers while also managing communications with our venue, which came with its fair share of challenges. Her professionalism, persistence, and calm approach ensured that every issue was handled seamlessly.
Her organisation was truly exemplary. Every detail was carefully considered and planned, giving us complete confidence that everything was under control. What impressed us most was her willingness to take on additional responsibilities and quietly resolve problems behind the scenes, often without us even knowing. This removed a huge amount of stress and allowed us to enjoy the journey and the day itself.
On the wedding day, Charlotte was absolutely invaluable. She coordinated the venue staff, managed suppliers, and oversaw every aspect of the setup. She had also organised and directed the setup the day before, which was incredibly important and something the venue greatly benefited from. Without her, there is simply no way our wedding day would have run as smoothly as it did.
Charlotte also secured discounts with some of our suppliers, and in hindsight we only wish we had let her negotiate with even more of them. Her experience and industry relationships were a real asset throughout the process.
Charlotte's hard work, dedication, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex situations made all the difference. We are so grateful for everything she did and would wholeheartedly recommend Charlotte Elizabeth Weddings to anyone looking for a wedding planner who genuinely goes above and beyond.
Everyone needs a Charlotte in their lives, and most definitely for their wedding
During the planning process, Charlotte offered helpful, venue specific tips which saved us time and money, she attended our venue meetings, she has the most amazing excel spreadsheet to keep us on plan (the template was nothing short of wizardry!). She kept us on track and calm and we felt like she was a true partner in our planning. She liaised with suppliers so efficiently and took that completely off our to do list. We were so calm in the lead up to the wedding, she made the final planning stage so easy for us.
On the day, Charlotte made the day happen and gave us the day of our dreams. She went truly above and beyond. She ran the day so efficiently, decorated two areas absolutely beautifully- it looked so outstanding it was like something from a fairytale! She managed any issues on the day in a respectful and discrete day and kept us on track and on time. She was there to counsel, reassure us both, make sure we were in the right place at the right time and we just were able to float through the day and enjoy and soak up every second! She even dropped off everything at our hotel room and made sure our suite was ready for us for the evening.
We can't thank Charlotte enough, and if you're thinking of a wedding planner or just want to enjoy the planning process and want to be present on your wedding day then there is no question you need Charlotte. She's wonderful, kind and thoughtful with an attention to detail that is unmatched.

Hi, I'm Charlotte — founder of Charlotte Elizabeth Weddings and your calm, experienced support through the beautiful chaos of wedding planning.
With over a decade of experience in events, weddings and hospitality, I've worked across hotels, exclusive venues and large-scale celebrations, giving me a wealth of knowledge to help couples create a wedding day that feels effortless and truly personal.
Planning my own wedding in 2023 was the turning point. Even with years of industry experience, I was surprised by the mental load that comes with organising a wedding. It made me realise just how valuable it is to have someone in your corner — not just on the day itself, but throughout the entire journey.
That's why I created Charlotte Elizabeth Weddings: to provide professional, down-to-earth support that allows you to enjoy your engagement without the stress and overwhelm.
My approach is simple — every wedding should feel authentically you. Whether you need someone to guide you from the very beginning or simply take the reins in those final months, I'm here to make the process feel organised, enjoyable and exciting.
When I'm not planning weddings, you'll find me exploring somewhere new, or relaxing at home in beautiful Northumberland with my husband and our two rescue cats, Cleo and Tilly, a cup of Earl Grey in hand.
