Our Real Wedding

We had an elegant August 2025 wedding with around 100 of our closest family and friends. Our theme was dusty blue, gold and ivory, creating a soft, romantic and timeless feel.

Our day was very much a DIY wedding — I designed and created much of the décor myself, from the order of the day signage to the table styling and personalised details. It was important to us that the wedding felt personal and reflected our journey together.

Dunedin Country House was the perfect backdrop for our vision. The venue’s natural beauty meant we didn’t need to overcomplicate things — it complemented our décor effortlessly and gave us that luxury aesthetic while still keeping everything within budget.

The whole day felt intimate, joyful and full of love. It truly was everything we hoped for and more.
