Gordon and Kara's Wedding in Tunbridge Wells, Kent

I spent hours searching for a Wedding venue, I narrowed it down to around four, and we then went off to visit them all. As soon as I walked into The Spa Hotel in Royal Tunbridge Wells, I knew it was the one. The grounds were beautiful, and I could immediately see myself walking down the aisle to their outdoor temple and marrying the love of my life. I was not entertaining the 'wet weather' backup option, but if it did rain, even the indoor ceremony room was stunning. Even though the weather was meant to be cloudy and with thunderstorms, we had our outdoor ceremony with beautiful blue skies, it was perfect.

Finding my dress was so much easier than expected, it was in the second bridal shop I visited, but the first dress I tried on there. I tried on another 6/7 dresses, but nothing compared to the first! When they say you'll know what dress it is meant to be, you really do!

We found Chich Weddings & Events on Hitched, and visited their showroom, where we purchased the menswear for the wedding, along with the rings. Chic played such a big part in making our day magical, and everyone kept complimenting how beautifully dressed the reception room was, and have lovely my flowers were.

We opted for a classical and elegant Wedding, with the colour scheme being Ivory, green, and gold. Timeless! The flowers, suits, dress, cake, and venue matched the scheme perfectly, and there is not one thing I would change about the day.

There are so many magical moments from our Wedding day, but I do not think anything tops hearing that processional song start (Video games Instrumental) and walking down the aisle to meet my groom. Butterflies kicked in, and as soon as I saw him, I could not contain my emotions. It was the moment that made all the planning worth it, and a moment that we will both cherish for the rest of our lives.
