Hi! I’m Will. I’m a Sheffield-based wedding photographer, or the extra bridesmaid you didn’t know you needed! (A comment I’ve received a few too many times.)

My approach to wedding photography is extremely relaxed. I’m a documentary photographer, meaning I let the day unfold naturally and capture genuine moments and memories. That said, I do occasionally offer a bit of guidance but nothing too horrific, I promise!

I find documentary style is the best way to capture a wedding. When you look back after the dust has settled, you’ll have photographic proof of all the big and small moments: maybe the groomsmen’s joint striptease to You Can Leave Your Hat On by Tom Jones (sadly, I can’t post that here, but check out my website’s homepage if you’re curious), or the bride’s hilarious encounter with an overflying goose, where she was hit in the face by its sh*t during the reception (don’t worry, she found it funny after a glass, or three, of wine).

In any case, my goal is to give you a collection of moments that transport you straight back to the day. These don’t have to be grand, staged moments, they might even be things you missed entirely. But they’ll be moments you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

During the lead-up to your wedding, I won’t overwhelm you with hundreds of emails asking for minute details, like the exact second you’ll step into your dress or the flavor of your cake. I’ll ask for a few key details and maybe arrange a pre-wedding call to confirm everything. Beyond that, I’ll give you space to enjoy the planning process. Of course, if you want to send me hundreds of emails, feel free. I’ll happily reply to every one!

Ultimately, I want you to have the most relaxed, amazing day possible. Your wedding day shouldn’t be spent running around posing for endless photos whenever someone with a camera snaps their fingers. Instead, focus on creating unforgettable memories and I’ll be there to capture them all!

I don’t offer dozens of fancy packages to choose from. Instead, I have one flexible package that covers the essentials and can be tailored to your needs. Extra coverage hours, second shooters, engagement shoots, you name it, I can make it happen (though some additions may incur an additional cost).
