Firstly: I’m so pleased you’re here.
in case our paths haven't crossed already, I am Tom Benson - a wedding & lifestyle photographer from Lancashire.
Every couple's love story is different. Some couples show their love through romance and grand gestures, others through playfulness and the ability to poke fun at each other. I have discovered that no 2 love stories are ever identical and I specialize in capturing and preserving beautiful moments that are unique to your story!
My journey as a photographer commenced in 2016. Before that I graduated with distinction and got my bachelor degree in professional photography, all the while photographing weddings and events in my spare-time.
I’m based in the beautiful town of Barrowford but i am available anywhere in Europe - we can chat about all that after you get in touch.
Services Offered
Tom loves taking the time to get to know his clients and learn their preferences and plans for their big day. Tom Benson Photography offers two standard wedding packages designed to appeal to a range of requirements. Each package includes a pre-wedding meeting and all final edited images delivered in high resolution to a personal online gallery where you can easily download or share with family and friends. Tom is also happy to travel to any location in the UK and add additional extras to any wedding package. Options can include:

Perfect day, expertly captured!
Where do we begin!? From the moment we met Tom at a Wedding Fayre, we knew he was the photographer for our big day! No massive sales pitch or hard sell, he was just so genuine and approachable. We came away feeling like we had just spoken to a friend. During the build up to the wedding, Tom was so professional and supported us to make sure we would have the photographs we wanted from our special day.
On the day, Tom went above and beyond and turned into our personal adviser! He helped to make sure we were both in the right place at the right time and he was the go to person for knowing where to be and what to do on the day.
Since the wedding day, people have commented on how friendly and approachable he was, that they did not feel like they had a camera in their face all day and felt at ease having their pictures taken. A big plus for us!
Now to the photos. Tom, we cannot thank you enough for how well you captured not only our day, but our love for each other. Your enthusiasm, and ability to be in multiple places at the same time are outstanding! I cannot recall you being present for most of the day, as you hid in the shadows waiting for the perfect opportunities.
Your constant contact and well wishes since our day have only reaffirmed our wise choice to ask you to capture our wedding.
Thank you again, and we would recommend all to have Tom capture their day!

Romantic, rustic wedding, April 2024
Tom did an amazing job at our wedding. Right from the beginning he made us, and our guests feel completely at ease. I just let him know of the general theme and a couple of pictures I wanted him to get, but other than that, we fully trusted him to take the lead and knew he would get it right! The pictures are amazing! He was great at organising our guests for the group pictures and where to take our pictures to get the best backgrounds and effects. He’s a fantastic photographer, really talented and we’d fully recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much Tom, we are so happy with our wedding pictures!

Incredibly talented photographer perfectly capturing our day
Where do we start! I’m very self conscious on photos so when we booked our wedding I was absolutely adamant that I didn’t want a photographer but after having a look online, both me and my husband loved the natural style of Tom’s photography and the way they tell a story of the wedding day.
When we met Tom prior to our big day we instantly knew he was the right fit. Tom blended in seemlessly on the day, putting us and our guests at ease so we almost forgot he was there to photo the day and because of this, we got the most amazing, stunning, organic photos of our day. And not just of us, priceless pictures of our friends and family that we will treasure forever. We had the most incredible day of our lives and it means the world to us we have so many memories of it captured.

Phenomenal Photographer
My goodness book Tom now! You will not be disappointed. The groom and I are not people who take a lot of pictures of ourselves so could be described as camera shy. All of this melted away with Tom’s natural ability to put us at ease. We felt so relaxed and that clearly shows through in the stunningly beautiful pictures Tom has captured, immortalising our day to share together with friends and family. Genuinely stop looking and get in touch with him. I would not have anyone else. Phenomenal, such a expert presence with a relaxed and in control attitude. He was non-stop from start to finish. We cannot thank him enough. I promise, you will not be disappointed I am so pleased we found him. May you have as much happiness as we did. We had Tom with us for the whole day from bridal prep in the morning until our first dance. He has captured so many wonderful memories to enjoy forever.

Just Amazing an unforgettable experience
I was recommended Tom back in 2020 when our original photographer cancelled a few months before our wedding day. I have seen some of his work he had done on a wedding photo shoot and I was blown away. I messaged him and replied within a few hours. We booked with Tom he came a sat down with us and worked through all the photos we wanted. Fast forward 2 years 3 wedding dates (covid 😫) we final tied the knot this April and everything was perfect. Tom was fantastic he made the whole day feel so natural and fun. We got our pictures and album back within 5 weeks and Wow 🤩 they are everything I hoped they would be. Thank you Tom you have done such an amazing job 💖💖

Brilliant service and amazing photos!
From our initial contact with Tom, he was excellent at responding, very polite, approachable and prompt...the pre- wedding service was great!
We wanted a mix of formal photos and some in a more relaxed style. The photos were well composed in the styles that we asked for and were really nicely put together for us to view in a slideshow as part of our particular package which we received surprisingly soon after!
if you're in doubt with which photographer to use, we would highly recommend Tom.

could not be happier
Tom was great from the beginning with our initial consultation. He was a clear communicator- sharing his albums and work with us, putting us at ease before the big day and quickly responded to our questions when we needed to know something. Nothing was too much trouble, he met our priest prior to the nuptials so that he could get the best shots in church. On the day we felt so comfortable around him and Tom got some great documentary shots which were exactly what we wanted. Thanks Tom, you’ve been able to capture the moments on our special day, and we could not be happier!

Can not recommend enough
it became obvious right away that Tom is an 'above and beyond' kind of guy. he did a great job of capturing our day and the emotions within. Subtle shots you didn't even know he was taking, edited beautifully to capture the nuance of each special moment and all consideration and inclusion for our guests and family as well. thanks Tom!!

Exactly what we wanted
Tom Captured our day beautifully - he made us all feel relaxed and at ease and didn't make us pose for anything unnatural, whilst still capturing the day exactly as we wanted! would highly recommend!

Incredible!
Where do I begin,
Tom knew our vision perfectly. I’m such a shy person when it comes to having my photo taken but Tom made us so comfortable and relaxed. He captured our wedding day incredibly. Such natural poses but making them look stunning! I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. We had such a laugh all day, again making us so comfortable. I would highly recommend!!
