With more than 20 years' experience and over 400 weddings photographed, Stephen combines documentary wedding photography with beautiful, natural portraits to create a complete story of your day without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
The approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. Most of the day is photographed as it naturally happens — the laughter, reactions, family moments, ceremony, speeches and celebrations — with gentle direction when needed for couple portraits and group photographs.
Based in Cumbria, Stephen has extensive experience photographing weddings throughout the Lake District, Carlisle, Keswick, Windermere, Ambleside, Penrith and surrounding areas, including many of the region's leading wedding venues. That local knowledge means knowing where the best light, views and quieter locations can usually be found, as well as having alternative options when Lake District weather changes.
Coverage is available for everything from intimate ceremonies and elopements to full wedding days. Depending on the package, options can include drone photography, an online gallery of high-resolution edited photographs, personal printing rights and sneak-preview images within 48 hours.
