Steph and Pril aren’t only extraordinarily talented photographers, they are tremendously kind and conscientious humans, and we feel beyond fortunate they could be there to capture our day.

We first met Steph in 2024 - she was recommended to me by two friends (who are wedding photography models) for a surprise photo shoot for my (now) husband’s birthday. We had never done anything like that before, and Steph put us both so at ease, and the photos were stunning.

Following this, my husband planned his proposal to me, and arranged for a surprise shoot - this is where Steph first introduced us to Pril. Pril’s work is absolutely beautiful - their photography was so vibrant and full of life.

It was never even in question that we could opt for anyone else to capture our wedding day. When we were discussing potential wedding dates, my husband and I had resolved that if Steph & Pril were unavailable, then we were too - and we would change our date to one they were available for.

As a queer and trans couple, I cannot stress enough how beautiful it was to have Steph & Pril there. They are so utterly committed to ensuring that weddings are a safe space for LGBTQ+ couples (and guests). Frequent, but unobtrusive, check-ins on the day made us feel so held, and advance planning calls allowed us to communicate any concerns we might have, and make a plan around them.

We love our photos. Steph & Pril did a fantastic job of capturing the important memories and the love on our big day. They made sure we stayed on schedule, without ever feeling rushed, and allowed for us to have moments just us. Additionally, we opted to add the Film and Videography package, which we cannot recommend enough - the film photos are drop-dead gorgeous, and it was such a treat to relive our day in the reel they edited from the clips they took. Also! They got us the edited photos and footage back to us remarkably quickly!

Steph & Pril demonstrate tremendous care for our community, and more than that, are devoted to ensuring that queer love is documented beautifully, in a manner that matches the couple’s ethos and energy.

Both were absolutely incredible; they made our day so special and put us both at ease. As two people who are not fond of being in front of the camera, we didn’t feel uncomfortable or forced in any way. Our couples shoot felt natural and enjoyable - and you can see our personalities and love shine through in every image.

Their photos were the exact vibe we were looking for: colourful yet a little moody, and strikingly beautiful. The candid photos are our favourite; they captured the special moments, those that we will remember forever, and so many that we missed on the day. Choosing Steph as our photographer, and Pril as our second shooter was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

From the very beginning, the whole experience felt so much more than booking a vendor. The planning process was informative, fun, supportive, and genuinely exciting. Steph brought so much care and expertise to every conversation, helping us think through timelines, photo moments, and details we hadn’t even considered, while always making everything feel relaxed and manageable. We felt completely looked after and understood throughout.

Then came the wedding day, and somehow they exceeded every expectation we already had.

Steph is fiercely talented and immensely loving, and Pril brought exactly the calming, fun energy you need surrounding you on such a big day. Together they created this atmosphere where everything felt easy and joyful. They struck the perfect balance of being affirming and gently directing guests so all the moments and photos we cared about actually happened, without anything ever feeling stressful.

They were so accommodating to our needs throughout the day and so emotionally supportive in all the moments we needed them - which after the speeches, we definitely did! - whether that was grounding nerves, keeping things flowing, or just by bringing good energy into the room.

And beyond being incredible at what they do, they were just so much fun to be around. We spent so much of the day giggling with them both. They genuinely felt like friends with cameras rather than vendors.

And the photos… absolutely insane. Our wedding pictures are breathtaking and more beautiful than we could ever have imagined. That is entirely down to Steph and Pril’s talent, warmth, and ability to capture people so authentically.

We’ll treasure these photos forever, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are on the fence about booking them, DO IT! Because you genuinely couldn't ask for a better photographer duo on your big day. We love you Steph and Pril!
