Welcome to our little company, Solid Imagery, based in sunny Dorset. Covering Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Surrey and Somerset - but more than happy to talk about other places.

You know, it's heartwarming to photograph someone's big day; it makes us feel so good. We get a front-row seat, and through our little viewfinder, we get to experience (and capture) in minutia those tiny details that make up a relationship. With no peripheral vision to distract us, those minuscule moments are grabbed forever.

Then, we get to have some fun organising you into your tight family groups. Being fully trained to arrange you super-efficiently, the fun element means you get happy and relaxed group photos—all in just 20 minutes.

We live and breathe wedding photography. It is in our blood and should be. We've been photographing weddings professionally since 1980 - a whopping 45 years.

That's 1516 successfully photographed weddings to date. In the rain, snow or sunshine. (Just a short message of hope for you - out of these 1516 weddings, only 5 have ever been washed out, good huh?)

Working in the commercial photography world for business and museum giants such as Fujifilm, Tempur Beds, British Airways, The Open University, LV, The British Academy, Ironbridge Gorge, ss Great Britain, The Museum of the Royal Navy and many, many more. We are trusted in handling rare historical artefacts in museums, so you can safely conclude that your wedding day is in super safe hands.

We also believe in honest payment for exceptional photography regardless of whether the project has 'wedding' written across it. So, the first promise - we NEVER overinflate our prices just because it's your wedding day. Trust us, many do. We refuse to.

Another promise is that we supply all the photos we take - not just the top 100 from the 1000 taken and you pay on top for the rest, the standard procedure in the UK wedding market. We simple won't do that either.

Another standard practice is to supply your photos in, somewhere between, 6 to 8 weeks. With Solid, you can expect them in 7 to 10 days. Yup, DAYS.

Straight or same-sex weddings? No problem; love is love is love as far as we are concerned. Short midweek weddings, long weekend weddings, Indian, Jewish, and Nigerian weddings, and weddings overseas are all good to go here.

As you can see, we love to break the mould—we are industry disruptors, if you will. For example, try to find this anywhere else—SPLIT coverage. That's right—maybe 3 hours during the day and 3 hours in the evening with a 2-hour chargeable gap in the middle! We offer this just to make things work for you.
