About
I’m Jono, and I love a good wedding.
I have been photographing them for over ten years now and I still get that buzz every time. Every wedding has its own personality. You get the nerves, the laughter, the daft speeches, the emotional moments you pretend you will not cry at but absolutely do, and then the part later in the evening when the shoes come off and suddenly everyone becomes a backing dancer for a boy band that does not exist. It never gets old.
I am not the quiet photographer who hides in the corner. I get involved, I chat, I blend in and before long most guests assume I am an old mate with a camera. That is exactly how I like it. When people feel comfortable, they look like themselves. You get real moments instead of forced smiles and awkward posing. No pretending to be in a perfume advert. No staring thoughtfully into fields. Just pure, honest moments that actually feel like your day.
I am there for the lot. The belly laughs, the tiny glances between you, the wobble in the voice, the hugs that last longer than usual and the absolute chaos later on. You enjoy it. I will take care of the photos.
Trends come and go but the real stuff lasts. I want your wedding photos to feel like your wedding, not a Pinterest trend that feels outdated in a few years. No beige filters pretending to be timeless. No dramatic poses that age faster than a haircut you regret. Just images full of life, personality and emotion.
If you want someone quiet who keeps to themselves all day, that is completely fine, but it is not me. If you want someone who fits in naturally, brings a good energy, helps you relax and genuinely cares about getting this right, then we are probably going to get on very well.
And if you are reading this thinking yes, that sounds like us and I can already picture him there, then get in touch. Weddings like that are the ones I say yes to.
