That whole bossy thing? Yelling through megaphones and dragging people about? I’m not doing that. I’m not that person. It’s not about disappearing off for three hours to create that perfect portrait. I won’t take over your time with the people you’ve invited to celebrate with you.
I live in Greater Manchester with my beautiful wife, Laura, our son Reuben, and our stupidly noisy cat, Tiger. I love eating out in central Manchester – anything Mexican, classy/dirty burgers, pizza – and I’m always up for a box set or a great film.
For your portraits, these normally take an hour in total, but I’ll spread that hour across the day, so you don’t miss that quality time with each other and your guests. You get a different light and feel to each set of images too. The evening portraits allow me to use more creative lighting techniques like off-camera flash, so we can really capture a little bit of magic for your signature portrait.

Professional, personable and fun - an incredibly talented photographer
Nik is an incredibly talented photographer and has so much passion and creativity in his work. He made us feel at ease on our wedding day and just went with the flow - at times we didn't even know he was there, but then he would also always be sure to capture the shots we didn't even know we wanted - a true professional but with a very personable style and lots of fun! He even managed to provide us with a sneak preview of some of our photos on our wedding day itself with a handful of precious printouts! Wherever did he find the time? We're so grateful that he was our wedding photographer and 100% recommend him to others!

One of the best
Nik is absolutely fab. From our first meeting through to our wedding day Nik was such a calming influence on the stress of wedding planning. He sends emails with supplier recommendations, he's always there if you need to chat about anything or have any questions and his photos are absolutely incredible. Nik has plenty of banter to deal with cheeky guests as well on the wedding day! I dont need to write a huge review, as I know without any doubt that Nik is one of the best wedding photographers out there, and he goes above and beyond being just a photographer. Our preview photos are beyond beautiful and we cannot wait to see the full album.

We couln't have asked for better!!
We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer from easy, quick communication before and after the wedding to the big day itself! It’s so important for everyone to feel comfortable with the photographer and Nik absolutely smashed it! Both the English and Spanish guests were well looked after, with even a few Spanish words from Nik to make sure everyone was happy and relaxed 😊 Nik was also very keen to make sure we had our photos but didn’t miss out on the day, which was amazing 😊 he even helped by recommending our videographer and Photo Booth company, who were great additions! If you’re looking for a photographer, don’t hesitate, just give Nik a shout!

Super wedding photographer
Getting the right photographer for our wedding was high priority for us both. We didn’t want someone who made the bridal party pose awkwardly or who was too intrusive and regimented. Natural photos is what we asked for with a handful of staged shots and minimal disruption to our guests. This is what we got! Nik was a dream, always there to catch those special moments just as we wanted. His communication was spot on and his passion for photography is amazing. My husband doesn’t like having his photo taken, but commented how Nik made him feel at ease. Absolutely stunning photos and clear instructions how to download and keep them safe. Looking forward to seeing them on the wall and in an album soon!

Amazing photographer!
We’ve had Nik as our photographer for our wedding as well as our maternity photo shoot and both experiences were amazing! Quick and efficient, but also took the time to get really great shots! We’ve loved every single photo he’s given us! Would highly recommend him!

Professional unique and fun
Would highly recommend Nik to anyone looking for beautiful and unique photos to capture their wedding day.
He combines a romantic tradition style with a modern twist and a bit of edge if that's what you are looking for.
His communication leading up to the day was clear and professional and put us at ease that he would be able to provide exactly what we were looking for.
On the day he arrived on time and was incredibly friendly but professional which put both myself and my bridesmaids at ease as we were getting ready.
During the day he was able to blend into the background so that he could capture some truly beautiful moments without his presence distracting guests from their fun.
The photos that we got back were better than we could have imagined. The only problem is trying to pick our favourites to be hang on in the wall, because there are so many wonderful ones!

Nik is amazing!
Nik was amazing from the offset, helping with everything he could both photography and general wedding related, he was incredibly accommodating when we had to rearrange our wedding date due to covid and even sacrificed time on his sons birthday for us. The photos were amazing and Nik was fantastic on the day. Highly highly highly recommend! Thanks Nik!

We'd choose him all over again
What can we say about Nik? With Nik we didn't just find ourselves a talented photographer, but also a friend! Nik was the first supplier we locked down nearly 2 years before our wedding. His documentary-style pictures drew us in and his chilled, relaxed nature made us stay. From start to finish we felt at ease, but without lacking any professionalism you'd expect from someone capturing what might be the most important day of your life. From the pre-engagement shoot (which I highly recommend to anyone worrying about feeling awkward in front of the camera) to the actual day, we felt completely comfortable knowing Nik was going to be capturing the stunning shots he did. He has a fantastic eye and our photos so far have already received such wonderful compliments. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
