Hi 👋 I’m Meg! Based in the lovely town of Penistone (just outside Barnsley in South Yorkshire), I’m a wedding photographer with a love for storytelling, real moments, and a good confetti shot. Since 2023, I’ve been capturing the magic, mayhem, and everything in between—with a camera in hand and a big smile on their face.

Meg Captured Our Day Perfectly!
Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. The photos are absolutely stunning—everyone loves them! She listened brilliantly and got our style from the start, keeping things relaxed and candid rather than overly posed, which was exactly what we wanted. She has this brilliant way of being super professional while keeping everything easygoing and fun!
She’s not just technically amazing but also fantastic with people—she made everyone feel so at ease, which really shows in the photos. And total lifesaver moment—she somehow knew lemonade would get a bright pink lipstick stain out of my dress!
From our first chat, she listened, was super flexible, and just totally got us. She even sent over about 30 gorgeous preview shots while the wedding was still happening!

From the minute Meg arrived she made us feel like old friends. Relaxing Joy getting ready and helping her nerves in the last moments before the ceremony. Meg mingled amongst our guests catching some lovely moments without intruding. Everyone to a person said how wonderful she was, not trying to organise the staged photo but putting people at ease. The result of her hard work revealed what we wanted to look back on our special day. The photos were excellent and well thought out. I can only pass on our heart felt thanks from Joy and I. I'm Meg – mum, wife, dog lover and the face behind MM Photography. I’m based in Penistone, South Yorkshire – I’ve lived here since I was 5 and know it like the back of my hand.
I live with my husband Tom, our cheeky toddler Lilly, and two very bouncy dogs. Life is full-on but full of love.
I’m never without my camera – I’ve always loved taking photos, but after having Lilly I took the leap and made it my job in 2023. Best decision ever. My style? Candid, natural, and full of fun. I love capturing the real stuff – the belly laughs, the chaos, the cuddles. I shoot everything from families and newborns to weddings and cake smashes – and everything in between.
I’ve worked with some amazing people, like Bloom Baby, been reviewed on Hitched, and teamed up with fab local photographers too. I’ve recently built my own little studio – so if you’re after some cosy, relaxed shots without worrying about the weather, I’ve got you covered.
Before photography, I worked in schools supporting kids with SEN – so I’m calm, patient, and know how to make little ones (and grown-ups!) feel totally at ease. I’m a people person through and through – I’m all about making you feel relaxed, like you’ve known me for years. When I’m not editing or shooting, you’ll find me at Cannon Hall Farm with Lilly, walking the dogs, or catching up with friends over a good coffee (latte, always).
I’m a proper 90s baby – I grew up on Tamagotchis, MSN, and Disney VHS tapes. My go-to TV binge is Virgin River or anything wholesome and feel-good – and yes, I cry every time.
My dream? To make photography affordable and accessible for everyone – and one day go full time doing what I love. It's honestly my passion and something I know I'm meant to do with my life.
