Hi everyone- sorry, I know another photographer!
I just wanted to introduce myself! I'm Kelly, a documentary and visual story-telling photographer based in Dorset. I am happy to travel to surrounding counties—I quite enjoy the drive, actually!
I started my photographic business journey 8 years ago when I struggled to find a style I liked! My daughter is asc/adhd and hated being posed and we were often both in tears with no photos! I just wanted to capture the essence of the day with minimal demands meaning I could enjoy my day with little stress. Using my backgroundbl in Family Support and neurodivergency I created my documentary and story telling business!
What is documentary photography? It's capturing brief moments in time as they happen; it's raw, vulnerable, and real. It's capturing memories! What is story-telling? So, for those special bride and groom photos, I will, if wanted, use fun and relaxed prompts to illicit movement and emotion—I won't pose you, but I'll capture the natural expression that arises.

The best wedding photographer
We loved her relaxed style of photos and that really was the feel we had on the day, it was like we had a friend there with us.
Kelly did her research of the venue, suggesting us some areas that we didn’t even know about but were our favourites scenes looking back.
We were thrilled with all of the photos that came back so quickly, she really captured the special moments perfectly.
Wedding photography
Kelly was just perfect throughout the day, so friendly and easy to get on with, she gave us little prompts but let us be ourselves. She found a gorgeous location to have photos of just us 2 and it was a perfect day. Documentary style photography was what we wanted and that’s exactly what Kelly delivered. She sent the photos so quick after the wedding and they are a gorgeous keepsake of our special day. Would always recommend her to anyone.
