It really is going to be difficult to articulate just how much of an impact Ash left on me and my wife, on our wedding day.
The whole experience was incredible, with Ash approaching our day not as a "job" but as an experience he wanted to be part of - he was as excited as us, to capture those moments and document the smiles, tears, laughter and drunk dancing (!).
The pre-wedding conversations were open and collaborative, and on the day Ash came and just elevated the day with his presence - his eye for a shot, his humanity and most of all his positivity and passion for what he clearly loves doing - taking your picture!
No question about it, we would do it all again exactly the same - do not hesitate, book Ash you will not regret it!
Thank you Ash, you literally made our day.

We had our wedding in August and were fortunate to have Ash as our photographer. Since our wedding was small and intimate, we were initially worried about having someone we didn’t know there and feared we’d be taken away for hours of posed photos. However, Ash was nothing like that! From our first conversation, he was warm, friendly, and immediately put us at ease—even offering helpful suggestions for the day’s schedule when I reached out to him in a panic on a random Sunday.
On the wedding day, Ash blended in seamlessly and somehow seemed to be everywhere at once without ever feeling intrusive. He knew the best spots in York for stunning photos, had an eye for capturing the perfect shot, was open to trying different ideas, and knew exactly when we needed a break. He even helped arrange a quiet, much-needed moment for my husband and me to be alone.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how lovely Ash was, and the photos are simply breathtaking! He perfectly captured the essence of our day, balancing moody, artistic shots with fun, energetic poses and sweet candid moments. The amount of positive feedback we’ve received on our wedding photos has been overwhelming!
I can’t recommend Ash enough. If I could hire him for every event, I absolutely would! -

Ash was the best photographer we could ever have asked for. He captured the day perfectly and when we looked back through the photos it felt like reliving the day again. From the initial phone call, he listened to what we wanted and made some really helpful creative suggestions. Lots of our friends commented on how warm and personable he was, and his professionalism and friendly nature just shone through throughout the whole process. -

All the reviews do not give justice as to how amazing Ash is!. He was recommended to us by a friend and we did not hesitate to ask him. Ours was a very small event and Ash was perfect for this. From start to finish to the communication was amazing. He was enthusiastic, creative but in no way overwhelming. He is very calm and relaxed and exceptionally talented. We are a very quirky couple and he went with every idea and enhanced it further. He puts you massively at ease on the day and got on so well with us and the guests. If your York based like us, go for Ash!. He loves the city and knows it better than any local. He has the best shots and has amazing creativity. He is exceptionally patient even when we needed a quick break (Don't wear high heels on the cobbles in York). He is a really nice guy and we simply enjoyed getting to know him and him being there. He was just like one of the guests in the end and it was a pleasure to have him there. Would 100% recommend him for your wedding and check out his non wedding shots, its amazing. Thank you so much Ash! -

Ash did the photography for our wedding back in October and he truly did the most incredible job!
From documenting our legal ceremony on the Wednesday to the wild party on the Thursday - he took the most sensational photos, that are so special to us.
Ash also ensured all of our family and friends felt comfortable and confident with their photos, and also was amazing with our little boy.
We could not recommend him enough as a wedding photographer and if you’re considering booking definitely do!! -

what can i say about Ash, from the start he has been amazing. when we first has the consultation meeting, he was so friendly and professional, explained the whole process to us and what to expect- so we booked immediately. I told him in not a photogenic person and i HATE my picture being taken, but he told me not to worry and we would work through it
Throughout the run up to my wedding, he was always there to give ideas and support. Fast forward to the wedding day- Ash arrived in the morning as planned (i didnt think i wanted getting ready shots, but theyve turned out to be some of my favorite shots) he blended into the background, so i didnt feel bombarded when i was having my morning with my girls- he was just there ready to get some gorgeous shots without me even noticing.
when it came time to do the family photos and couple shots, i was shocked at how at ease he put us, i didnt feel embarrassed having my picture taken and he was directing us on which shots to get and they turned out utterly stunning
he honestly felt like part of my wedding party and all of my guests commented on how friendly and lovely he was. My wedding photos have turned out incredible.

What can I say? Ash was amazing and created memories we will never forget, he became part of our day and almost every guest commented about what a nice relaxed man he was. Our photos are amazing and returned back to us very quickly. Best choice I made for my wedding (besides the groom of course) -
