UK Harpists are experienced, versatile and stylish musicians founded by professional harpist Xenia Horne in 2003. We have created a network of the best, professional harpists, available all over the country. We offer our clients a personal consultation, working through practical details and different options - leaving you to enjoy magical music on your big day. We have all trained as professional harpists, also working in theatre and with show experience. We guarantee exceptional musical performance, creating a bespoke playlist for each client, tailored to your personal preferences. Our mission is to provide beautiful music, slow and romantic or upbeat - whatever your preference - to create a magical musical presence on your big day.
Services offered
Live music provides a romantic atmosphere for you and your guests at every stage of your wedding day. Xenia will personally liaise with you to select the perfect music for ceremony and reception, ensuring that these reflect your personal style and vision for the day.
The Ceremony package offers music to be played during the arrival of your guests, through your entrance down the aisle, during the signing of the register and your recessional or exit. Music during your drinks reception and wedding breakfast is also available across all styles and genres to ensure that the mood of the moment can be enhanced and also to suit the setting and venue that you have chosen. There are songs and tunes from early classical repertoire through to current artists Coldplay, Ellie Goulding, songs from the shows, traditional tunes from the Folk tradition and jazz too.
How they work
UK Harpists are a collective so they have artists and musicians across the country, all coordinated from one point of contact. Your personal requests are handled by Xenia who then liaises with other musicians as necessary to ensure that the day runs smoothly, leaving you to enjoy your celebrations in style.

The idea of having a harpist play at our wedding was always in our mind so it was more a case of choosing someone we felt comfortable with. Having done our research and spoken with a number of potential providers we felt that Xenia was the right choice for us as she has such a broad range of music of all styles, was happy to make suggestions as to how our day could be enhanced, was flexible with timings and her attention to detail (such as enquiring what colour schemes we were wearing so as not to clash) gave us reassurance that we were in safe hands. An hour on a Video call to chat and listen to some of her music suggestions was an invaluable addition to our wedding planning. On the day Xenia arrived in good time and played the perfect part. If you are looking for a harpist of the very highest level, who is flexible in playing a traditional and celtic harp, then look no further. Xenia is equally comfortable playing from her list of trusted wedding classics, or playing along with your more unusual choices. She was happy to learn to play along with selections she was not previously familiar with, learning the notes to play perfectly before the big day. It doesn't matter what style or genre, she has your selection covered perfectly.

We were lucky enough to meet Xenia from UK Harpists at our wedding venue’s wedding fayre. As soon as I heard her beautiful rendition of Moon River, I looked at my Mum and future mother-in-law and all three of us had tears in our eyes. UK Harpists made our ceremony all the more magical and guests commented on how perfect it all was. Additionally, during our postponement due to Covid, I always had very quick and helpful responses when I needed to make music choices or ask any questions.
