We booked the Wigornia String Quartet after seeing them at the NEC Wedding Show, 2 years before our wedding! Communication was great and the price was excellent. They were happy to play outside for our wedding ceremony & were able to move inside for the drinks reception, we really appreciated their flexibility! The music was incredible, absolute perfection. Their repertoire was vast & up to date. Our guests of all ages enjoyed music they recognised!

For our wedding, we always knew we wanted a string quartet, trouble was, we had no idea where to start looking for one and if any near us would travel to Hereford. Fortunately, we went to the NEC Wedding Show and met Wigornia. After speaking with them and listening to a few pieces from their repertoire we went ahead and booked them! They had an array of different music, from classical pieces to Bridgerton-esque takes on modern/recent popular music. For us though, we wanted more classical with some pop to fill in the gaps. We’d also requested La Vie En Rose for our entrance piece and the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba for the exit music. The process was pretty easy, the cost was fantastic as well, including travel and refreshment expenses. All we had to do was provide some cover (especially as it was in the high 20s the whole day and not a cloud in the sky!). We’ve had so many lovely comments about Wigornia, they did exactly what we wanted and more. I would 100% recommend them to anyone wanting to add some timeless, classic flare to their day. On Monday 4th August at Pendrall Hall in Codsall Wood, our daughter Lauren married her partner John in a truly unforgettable ceremony. We had the pleasure of booking Wigornia String Quartet to perform before, during, and after the ceremony — and they were absolutely superb.

From the moment they arrived, their professionalism was evident. They were punctual, well-presented, and completely self-sufficient, which immediately put us at ease. Their calm, confident presence and clear experience with weddings gave us great reassurance that the musical side of the day was in safe hands — and it absolutely was.

They played beautifully throughout, adapting seamlessly to the flow of the event without needing any direction. Their ability to read the room and respond intuitively was remarkable. One of the highlights was their performance of several modern pieces specially requested by Lauren — all delivered with elegance and flair, showing both versatility and genuine musical talent.

Wigornia added a layer of sophistication and warmth to the day that we’ll always remember. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for accomplished, reliable, and truly gifted musicians for their special occasion.
