Let the Music Play is a Worcestershire, England-based company offering DJ services for weddings and events.All equipment is cutting age state of the art and creates a real wow.

I am the owner (Jan Blazak) and have been DJing my entire adult life. I have travelled internationally and played at festivals, clubs, and bars, specialising in dance/house music. I have been lucky enough to grace many a stage during a long career but I have happily settled into life as a multi genre mobile DJ, albeit still carrying a passion for Dance Music which I still create and produce.

I will however play the music you want to hear and I really do understand the importance of ensuring that each individually crafted sound track is bespoke to YOU and perfect for realising YOUR vision. I take playlists and I take requests but I encourage you to limit playlists to 50 songs maximum which equates to 2 ½ hours. This enables me to cover the music you want to hear but also to read the room and ensure there is a little something for everyone.

I aim to provide a friendly, professional, and fun experience for everyone at your party. Whether you envision a romantic evening swaying on the dance floor or a club-worthy night, I will match your style perfectly and realise your chosen sound track with style and panache.

I excel playing current music and dance music so I am really looking for customers who will also enjoy the more up to date sounds. In particular I am smashing Garage, R&B, Drum & Bass, House, Vocal House, Disco, classic 90s dance, and even Techno. That is what I excel at. But ultimately I am a professional DJ and I will play whatever you want or need. I get it's a wedding and Auntie Flo is not going to be getting it on to Hard Techno. So weddings are always about a balance so that there is a little something for everyone and everyone feels included. That is important in making it memorable for everyone.

Weddings

Whatever your style, I will work with you on a playlist that sets the tone for an unforgettable night. As stated I obviously excel playing dance music, but particularly for weddings I am also happy combining an early evening of cheese, wedding and party songs or whatever it is that will make your party perfect and unique to you guys.I really enjoy playing standard wedding fare for three hours and then smashing out dance music for the last two hours.

Alternatively I can play specific genres or decades, background music, a complete set of the happy couples special songs, whatever it takes to realise your vision of your perfect day.

Beyond my musical talents, I can also be your MC and seamlessly transition between your speeches, first dance, and other milestones. I can MC your whole day from pre-ceremony drinks, to the wedding breakfast, to speeches to the evening party. I can be here to take the stress from you and ensure your day works seamlessly so you can kick back and enjoy your family and friends.

I come with a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, radio mics, uplighting, and other special effects to make your day and night magical. I can play music at your ceremony through special battery powered wireless speakers, I can provide the mics for your speeches, I can play background music of your or my choice in any location at any time.

I have just spent £10k on a bespoke all white wedding rig. It is beautiful and I am reallty proud of the option. The all white rig features a range of luxurious smooth lighting effects including iuplighters and two mirrorball effect centrepieces.It is demure and colourful rather than flashy and ravey. I can of course supply both if you want truly special where we utilise the white rig for aesthetics and tehn early part... and then unleash the three show lasers to lift the roof for the last two hours. There is no picture as it is brand new but the booth is pictured below and will give an idea. All of thge fixyures are white whether speaker columns or lighting.

I also work with a professional Saxophone player Jerry Price (from £199) and award winning Pro singer Becky Roc (£299). If you want to be super spectacular you can have us all out and I'll play some live percussion to add to the vibe. I guarantee to bring energy. enthusiasm and life to every event whether on my own, with one of my musical wizards, or with all three of us.

Your bespoke playlist can include as much or as little instruction as you like up to a nominal maximum of 50. I can also take requests from your guests if required as I have acces to 100 million songs on the internet (18000 on HD). During a consultation I will get to know your wedding vision and collaborate with you on every detail. Let the Music Play offers highly competitive pricing and many add-ons, making me your one-stop shop for entertaining your guests.

I can liaise with local suppliers in respect of a matching dance floor if you required. I can also supply dry Ice for a glorious first dance and cold sparks if required. However venues can be difficult as regards these effects, and indeed Haze, which is necessary for a laser show, However if permitted we can cover these requirements, I can even write you a bespoke song, or remix songs, or create bespoke mash ups, for your ceremony or party, as I am also a producer. All of these services are obviously optional extra's.
