Owner (Jan Blazak) and has been DJing entire adult life. Jan has travelled internationally and played at festivals, clubs, and bars, specialising in dance/house music. He has been lucky enough to grace many a stage during a long semi-professional career but has happily settled into life as a full time multi genre mobile DJ, specialising in high end quality wedding parties. Let the Music Play can now offer everything you might want or need at your wedding party. Stunning sound and light systems, different set ups to match your vibe, radio microphones for speeches, ceremony and/or background music, MC services, games and quizes for your guests, cold sparkler machines for arrival and even dry ice so your first dance is on the clouds.

Jan will play the music you want to hear and really does understand the importance of ensuring that each individually crafted sound track is bespoke to YOU and perfect for realising YOUR vision. Jan will consult with you substantially before your wedding including face to face on all day bookings and craft the perfect unique soundtrack that reflects you on your special day. Obviously Jan will then blend this with a little something for everyone and all the wedding classics but your sound track will properly reflect who you are and your preferences/choices. Jan will play to play lists but you are encouraged to limit playlists to 50 songs maximum which equates to 2 ½ hours. This enables him to cover the music you want to hear but also read the room and ensure there is a little something for everyone.

Your bespoke playlist can include as much or as little instruction as you like up to a nominal maximum of 50. Jan can also take requests from your guests if required as he has acces to 100 million songs on the internet (18000 on HD). During a consultation Jan will get to know your wedding vision and collaborate with you on every detail. The all white rig features a range of luxurious smooth lighting effects including up lighters and two mirrorball effect centrepieces with a further possible 30 up lighters and 8 stunning moving heads. It is demure and colourful rather than flashy and ravey. It is high quality and suits Barns, Castles and Stately homes.

The rustic set up offers the same quality sound and light but packaged in a more informal manner. It looks stunning and suits barns, tipis, marquees and courtyards. We also have an intelligent lighting sytem with smoke, lasers and inteligent lighting, which is more flash/ravey for those customers who desire this type of effect as a finale. You can even combine elements from each to create your bespoke and unique evening.

Let the Music Play also works with a professional Saxophone player Jerry Price. Jan & Jerry practice together and Jerry goes through our large sound and light system when we play together. It creates a real rush of energy and adds depth and quality to every event. Jan can also bring and play some live percussion to add to the vibe and increase the energy. We guarantee to bring energy. enthusiasm and life to every event.
