We got married at the ugly butterfly in carbis bay cornwall on 01/01/2023. My husband and I live 6 hours away from our venue so we had to find our suppliers down in cornwall as opposed to people we knew.

Finding the right DJ was really important to us as we have such a lively group of friends, I wanted someone who would have everyone on the dance floor and ultimately know the vibe of the night without me even having to request anything. We were recommended Future Media when we booked our Sax Guy and he said they're the best. From the minute we spoke to Mark, we knew we had to have them. He made the whole process so easy and simple, and more importantly made us feel special! Even down to receiving a card before our wedding counting down to the big day!

On the day of the wedding, Future media were absolutely FANTASTIC! We couldn't have wished for a better DJ if we tried. My guests didn't leave the dance floor once - since they have said it's the best atmosphere they've ever experienced at a wedding. It was non stop amazing tunes from start to finish - I remember taking a moment looking back with the lights flashing and everyone jumping up and down - honestly it was magical.

We booked Future Media's "meal-to-midnight" package for our wedding and they were FANTASTIC! From the first time we contacted them, they were super friendly and helpful, and took on-board all our requests. Mark read the room on the night to keep the vibe at the right level and this meant that the party kept going right to the end. The speaker system was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. All our guests commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had. Couldn't recommend them more!

We booked future media for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Mark was so friendly and extremely helpful with giving advice for timings for the day and what works best. We had a chat about music choices so we felt assured that Mark knew exactly what we wanted for our day. The night was absolutely perfect and there wasn’t a time the dance floor was empty. Mark really brought the party atmosphere to the floor! What I found extra special was how Mark gave a special shout out to our nephew and ring bearer whilst he was having his moment on the dance floor with the saxophonist. So so special! When planning our wedding, we really struggled to choose between a live band and a DJ. In hindsight, we would book Future Media every time – it was absolutely the right decision. From the first email, to the video consultation, to the face-to-face, to the wedding day, we had constant reassurance, and a personal touch to all our interactions.

We had quite a small wedding, so we were worried that we wouldn’t have the critical mass of people to sustain a dance party through the evening, but they gave us advice on how to allocate and use the space for our guest numbers and kept the energy going with great music and effective use of the mic.

We had a custom edited track for our first dance, so I was paranoid that the standard edit would play and throw us off, but I needn’t have worried – they are true professionals with great attention to detail. They also flawlessly delivered a shout out to a family member that I had asked for before the party started, which was highly appreciated.

Most importantly, though, everyone had a fantastic time. We had comments from guests about how great the DJ was. If you’re in any doubt about whether booking Future Media is worth it, it definitely was for us. Looking back, it was the perfect end to a perfect day, and we would recommend them wholeheartedly.

They really listen to what you want, and I had several calls with them beforehand as they wanted to understand exactly the vibe we were going for.

Our guests were dancing all night and we had so many compliments on the music - they really assess and cater to a range of people.

Mark and his team played at our wedding in December 2024. Mark was extremely helpful throughout the booking process, suggesting ideas we hadn’t thought of (last dance vs first dance). Our ultimate goal was to have fun and ensure everyone was on the dance floor. Mark and his team succeeded! Would 100% recommend, we sent through a playlist prior to the wedding which was used as a base line for the wedding with improvements which made the night!

Future Media are next level when it comes to a wedding DJ (we also had a sax player that works closely with them). The party went from 0-100 immediately and never wavered. Importantly, they spend time with you before your day ensuring they understand you and your guests so that everyone is pleased on the night. All equipment was first class, Mark was a great guy throughout - I cannot recommend these guys highly enough - absolutely zero negative!!!!

We booked Future Media for a private party at Winslade Manor, dealing with Mark was great from the start, from discussions on the phone to what sort of music we wanted, to meeting up in person ahead of the event to talk through the plans, and then on the night serving up a perfect mix of music & lighting for our party across a range of genres, the dancefloor was full throughout and loads of comments afterwards from guests about how much they enjoyed it. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future.
