Great experience with David, booked through Encore
We had David Buchanan play the bagpipes at our wedding and he was fantastic. We had a consultation call beforehand to chat through the style of music we wanted, and he completely delivered on the day.
He played us out of our ceremony, then continued for around 15 minutes while guests were having champagne and mingling. It created such a brilliant atmosphere – our guests absolutely loved it, and even a few tourists and passers-by stopped to watch and enjoy the music.
Such a lovely, memorable touch to the day – we’d definitely recommend David!

Naomi was fantastic!
Cannot rate Naomi Wilmhurst from Encore enough. She added the magic to our ceremony and learnt several songs for our day as requests. Great musician and the guests loved her!

Great experience
Encore made booking a musician for our wedding so easy. Prices were good value for money, the encore team and musician themselves were responsive throughout the whole process. Our pianist Emily Owen was incredible and made our day so memorable. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Outstanding and very professional
We booked a Highland Piper (Andrew) and a Classical Guitarist (Scott) for our wedding last Saturday. When I arrived with my father I was immediately emotional as Andrew looked amazing and just as I'd hoped. He piped me into the ceremony with my favourite bagpipe melody and it was magical. He played non stop until the beginning of our wedding breakfast!! All our guests were blown away by Andrew's talent and approachable attitude.
Sadly, our guitarist received some devastating news just an hour before his arrival and we would never have expected him to arrive. As it was so close to our wedding breakfast start time, it was impossible to send a replacement, but the hotel just played some background music whilst we ate. Encore explained everything and dealt with everything smoothly and professionally. Our hearts and thoughts are with you Scott xx

Easy to use and great musicians
We hired a fantastic jazz trio through Encore. The site was easy to use and send initial enquiries out. Payment was simple as was the means of contacting the band. Would definitely use the service again.

Very professional
We liked several of the musicians. But settled on Cliff Hall. An excellent choice., Beautifully turned out, know exactly what to do without supervision and his playing was very moving. 5* plus, Cliff and thank you.
